PSA: if you order to-go, make sure you check your bags, because they don't. After driving 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back, they forgot one of our entrees which we found out when we got home. We had been out of town for awhile, thus had not been to our regular weekly dining at Mojo Taco in Tollgate. We have always enjoyed a yummy meal at Mojo! My husband said his chicken bowl as good as always. His beer tasted like the glass was soapy. I have thoroughly enjoyed an old-school taco for more than 50 times in the past... today, not only was it far greasier than the normal, the flavor was literally boring. The texture of the outside shell with the melted cheese was not the normal yummy. I regretted having ordered two. The guacamole seemed fresh as always. However, the chips were strangely thicker than normally & not nearly as tasty . We are not accustom to being so disappointed in the food. We hope this was just a bad weekend for MoJo and that the next time will be delicious as we have come to expect. read more

Much like Helen, I have been coming to Mojo's Tollgate since I moved to the neighborhood. During that time, I have become friends with an amazing group of people, both staff and regulars. None of this would have happened without the managers and bartenders facilitating these now lifelong relationships. Everyone knows the employees make a place what it is, and without them, it's just another bar. Over the past few months, we've all watched the powers that be bring in another manager who, according to several members of the Nolensville staff, was sent here because he couldn't cut it at their location. During that time, employee morale has gone tremendously downhill due to his inappropriate tone toward food-running staff, as well as his backstabbing, undermining, and apparent efforts to push out the now-former GM and bar manager. It's unfortunate to see so many people in upper management -- people who seem to have no finger on the pulse of our great neighborhood or their own Mojo's crew -- making such rash decisions. read more

I've never done catering with Mojo's, but I sure will now. Unfortunately the way I was introduced to their catering service was for a funeral meal, but I have to say they really delivered. They showed up in a time the family needed in the best way. Thank you Mojo's! Customer service is textbook stuff -- biggest shoutout to Zane who answered questions and got it handled with such ease. The food day it was delivered perfectly on time and everyone was raving. It could not have been more perfect. You've got to travel a bit if you're coming from Spring Hill or Franklin. But it's worth the drive. The food is that good. Mojo's is a pretty cool place. It's big inside. There are a lot of tables and a nice sized bar to compliment. The place seems to draw a healthy crowd. I can actually define healthy in two ways. Healthy in the number of people that fill the building and healthy as in how the clientele look. I mean to tell you that I saw some pretty good-looking folk pass through. And I'll even capitalize it. Good Looking! Dinner and a show. What more could one ask. Our tables order consisted of brisket nachos, brisket tacos, and avocado tacos. All were top quality, and the taste was spot on. You won't get cheated on the amount of food. The tacos are stuffed, and the nachos are brimming with all kinds of goodness. Your belly will be full, as will your eyes as you watch as the parade passes your table. The bartenders are fun and efficient. You won't have to wait too long to get your liquid encouragement....remember the clientele. There's always a chance. Go have some fun at Mojo's. Quick Tip: The only downside of the place are the bathrooms. For as big and popular as it is, there just doesn't seem to be enough space to fill the need. Nice clean location. Ordering line is behind soda bar. Can be a bit confusing if you don't see small sign. Food was fast, fresh and tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the salsa- mushy and tasteless .They handled my gluten allergy well( some cross contamination so NOT Celiac friendly) Bathroom was clean. Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of their food. I was in the area for work and didn't see much else so I stopped in. The brisket nachos were perfect. Not too many toppings, just queso, pico, a scoop of guac and I got the mojo sauce on the side. It was also tasty! I'll def be back and look forward to the one coming to nolensville soon. I've gotten Mojo's Tacos several times and the quality is always there! Their fajita steak is my favorite, along with their queso + guac. I will say, sometimes they miss details on pick-up orders when busy, but they've always corrected it and often made it right by replacing or adding food as an apology if it happens. OMG sooooo did you know about the pinto beans because this was my first time and I'm never looking back. Also if you say these aren't available at the Franklin one I'm probably gonna cry my eyes out. We met some friends here for our first visit to this location and I was blown away! We waited at the bar, and grabbed some beverages where I asked about adding beans to the nachos vs meat. I know the black beans are goooooood, but when he talked about the pinto beans I asked if I could sample them. My husband (not a bean guy) agreed these are the best pinto beans we have ever had. Now, I will never be ordering anything else ever again, nachos with pinto beans is on lockkkkk forever and ever. I had the pineapple jalapeño marg and I think I'd try something else next time. If you're looking for delicious tacos and a place to enjoy them with coworkers, friends, family, a hot date, or solo, Mojo Taco Tollgate is freakin phenomenal. The music & atmosphere is always really electric and fun. The employees are professional and personable, and there is a full bar if you're looking to have some fun. My go-to order is always the Green Chili Cheeseburger taco, the Smash Cheese Burger taco, and / or the old fashioned with off-the-cob street corn and a Maine Root, Root beer! If you're a fan of Dole whip, they usually carry pineapple, vanilla, and chocolate and also have an assortment of paletas. If the dole whip servings were larger, they would sell more. I will say - the last time I went there May of 2023 it was just at the tail end of the lunch rush, and the floors were really slick and the drink area needed services badly. There were 3-4 employees chatting at the bar that should have probably been working on clean up. Other than that the whole experience has been 100% positive for me. There is some limited outdoor seating if you don't mind sitting in direct sunlight. If you have a partner who can hold your dog you can have a nice meal with your pup on the patio. If you eat in, they are very good. Tacos are full, full of flavor, and they offer CORN tortillas as a flour alternative. They are always a little too busy at dinner time, but we can come at less busy times. If you order take-out, be prepared to be disappointed. The nachos in the restaurant can feed me and my husband easily. They are excellent and filling. For take out...barely enough for one person. We went on a Sunday evening and the place was packed! Very Loud! The tv's were cranked up which added to the customer noise. We were missing some things from our order and since the bar tender wasn't helping us, we kept looking around but only saw 1 waiter/runner. He was working his ass off and still had a smile. What a great addition to an area with a huge deficit of great eating places. Very casual - great beer selection, and the food was amazing. We arrived at lunchtime and had no problem finding room at the bar. Note - I have heard of people arriving to a full house and giving up on getting seated - more testimony of support from the community. I had two tacos, both daily specials, plus street corn as the side... and a Hopsecitioner IPA. It was very filling. My only constructive feedback would be to fill the available taps with locally brewed products. We have many local brewers within a short distance that need our support way more than the big guys with national marketing budgets. We are regulars at the Mojo's Franklin, so thought we would head a little south today to try their new location. Ambiance was great. Open space & large bar area. Way bigger than Franklin. Great happy hour from 3-5 throughout the week. The margaritas are strong and the sangria tastes like a smoothie (in the best way)! Tried the chicken carbon today for the first time (they don't have it at the Franklin location) and I'd have to argue it's the best thing on the menu! We love MOJOs, just not the Tollgate location. We were short on time tonight , so we gave this location another shot. We started off with the lukewarm queso. The wife and I had Dave's Cadillac margarita, which was okay, but not worth the $14 price. Went back for a second "regular" margarita, and the bartender poured some premade margarita concoction that had been sitting there. Tasted horrible. Really?! For $10, I don't even get you to make a margarita? Tacos were okay, kinda thrown together and cold. We've been to this location three times now, and each time have left disappointed. I've been to the new location a few times already. I struggle with this place, because the service is A+, and the food is pretty good. My struggle, is the menu is so very limited. Tacos, or a salad is really about the only options for dining. Super clean, nice atmosphere, and I will definitely be back, I just wish they would expand their menu a bit.
