I saw this place late one night after, it's a new location near the intersection of East End and Walnut Ave in Chino. A taco is $2.50 each, I got one each pastor, lengua, cabeza, and asada. Plenty of meats cooking and the salsa/topping area was kept clean. The guy was working alone and he had tables next to the cooking area. It has a cover and bright lights. The meat was portioned nicely and not overcooked. The place was clean but it's on a dust road so people parking can pick up dust. Cash and Zelle only. read more

Amazing, clean, friendly. All the taqueros are friendly and efficient. The meats are great, and they carry a good variety that other vendors don't, which justifies their prices in my opinion. Don't sleep on the cabeza, tripa, buche, and suadero! Best of all, everything is kept clean and you can pay once you're done eating to keep your hands relatively nice and clean to enjoy your food. It's pretty hard for me to find a go to taco spot because most trucks or restaurants I've been to are inconsistent. I remember going here with my friends when it was at another location but I never remembered the name of it. Recently stumbled upon it once again. I guess they were closed for a period of time but are now open? It sucks that they keep moving but I'll try to follow as they go because the food is pretty good. First of all, I was disappointed that during the COVID-19 pandemic they did not wear masks. This is very irresponsible and dangerous to both the employees and customers. They have changed their operation and have signs up that states that it is takeout only, so they're not living under a rock. Out of all of them, I did not see one with a mask. The cashier wasn't wearing gloves either. Super dangerous and I debated leaving but I decided to stay anyway :// pleaseeeee take the right safety measures to make sure everyone is healthy and safe as possible. There's no point in customers wearing masks and standing a few feet away from each other in line when they people serving the food are not wearing masks. With an open grill top with all the meat cooking, there is a higher risk since the employees are talking over it to take the order as the line moves along. I'm not sure what their official opening hours are but Yelp says 5-midnight. They also aren't open every day of the week. You can tell when they're open if the gate is open I guess? For people driving by the neighborhood it is hard to tell so I assume most of the people that come here are loyal customers that follow them. The line starts towards the back so it may be confusing if it's your first time. Current address as of 5/30/2020 is 11086 Pipeline Ave Pomona, CA 91766 As I said before, the meats are all laid out and cooking on a flat grill top. This is definitely nice to see because you know the quality you're getting as they serve it. The al pastor is also set up on the spiral cooking machine. All of this is nice and I wouldn't mind too much if they were all just wearing masks. I know it's hard to wear a mask while cooking because of the heat but it would make us all feel a little safer. Nevertheless, the tacos are pretty good. At the time of this review the price was $1.50 per taco. There was a sign for Taco Thursday 2x1... so I'm not sure whether it meant 2 tacos for the price of one? Or the tacos are $1? I assume it's busier on Thursday's with this special. It was already pretty busy on a Friday night. I ordered the carne asada, al pastor, and suadero tacos. The carne asada was okay in my opinion. Some places overcook it and the meat is like biting into rubber balls. But here, the meat was still intact and not too dry. The only problem was that the meat didn't taste marinated or seasoned enough. After trying the meat itself I was disappointed but salsa can help it. The al pastor is definitely my favorite here and I would probably order all of just this meat. It was tender and was full of flavor in comparison to the asada. Highly recommend the al pastor. The suadero is a meat I don't usually order but I've had once before so I wanted to try their version. It wasn't bad. It's tender but didn't taste seasoned either. If they seasoned the meat more, this taco spot would be absolutely insane! After you order there is a table with all the taco toppings. Onions and cilantro, lime, cucumbers, salsas... but then again everything is all out in the open. SELF SERVE with everyone touching the handles, tongs, etc. it would be more of a hassle to prefill the salsa cups but things shouldn't be self serve yet while there is no vaccine. It sucks because I never would be complaining if the virus wasn't still going on and is as dangerous as it can potentially be. My overall opinion is a little above average but I did not appreciate the lack of safety measures put in place. I will definitely come back for the tacos but I pray they do something by at least wearing masks and gloves. And maybe prepackage the toppings or provide gloves so your hands aren't in direct contact with what everyone else touches. read more

I was so excited to try these tacos , went with a group of friends , followed the directions provided by Yelp, but we ended in the middle of some street in Pomona with no tacos to be found . We circled the areas to make sure we had not missed it or if it was off by a block or something but no taco stands . There was a number attached to the business so i called , a gentleman answered, i asked him if i could have the address and he said I'll text you the address, but no text was sent. They came to our birthday party last night. I can't explain how good the tacos are. The variety of meats outside of the basic asada and chicken. We also had lengua and chorizo. They have more to offer. Next time we'll order the rest too! They are my go to for future parties. read more

Tacos EL Pecas is located within the Chino and Montclair area. A local hidden gem indeed- think driving to a family members house because it is tucked away in a residential neighborhood. The biggest tip I can give, in case you get lost is follow the people coming and going as if they're going to a birthday party. Now don't let the line intimidate you because it goes pretty fast just make sure you know what you want and how many before you get to the front. It's a cash only place and community seating. So if that doesn't work for you then maybe settle on taking your tacos to go. Otherwise enjoy the tacos because you will not be disappointed. read more

A place I can eat and feel like family. It was my first time visiting Tacos El Pecas and I left satisfied and one happy customer. When my wife and I arrived there was no line and we ordered our tacos with some horchata. I felt like I was at a families backyard gathering. The music, the dodger game, the people, It was an atmosphere that really made me feel at home. Hands down, the best place to get your taco fix in the Inland Empire. When we first pulled up, we passed it, but just asked a gentlemen where we assumed it was and we were right! He helped us park in the street too. There was no line when we got there, which was great because right after, there was a huge rush. The tacos were delicious and horchata was sweet! This place is clean and very organized. OMG GUYS. BEST. TACOS. EVERRRRRRR!! Honestly...I feel like I'm going to my long lost tia's birthday party or something when I come here. So the location may seem different. It's at a house, so if you think google is telling you to go somewhere sketch...you're heading the right way lol I'm not sure if it is or not, but it feels like a family run business and they're welcoming you to their home for some tacos. You literally order and it's fresh off the grill. You get it right away as you're walking through the line. They also have horchata and aqua frescas where you pay. You pay. Grab your toppings and you join the party and chow down on some tacos! Tacos are $1.25 each and on Thursdays they have a 2 for 1 al pastor deal! If I could...I'd come here every day. Hands down, the best taco place ever. And trust me...I've had my fair share of tacos. read more

Best place ever they moved so for those wondering where they went here is the address 11096 Pipeline Ave, Pomona, CA 91766, United States I had a hard time finding them just look for the big white tent with black gate it's is very packed long lines but worth the wait limited parking available but doable face mask is required to enter you will not regret it also the menu is to your left side by the cashier you got to look at the floor wish it was visible hopefully they put it up high somewhere anyways I hope this review works out for those interested. read more

At first I didn't know what my wife an I got ourselves into driving in. Didn't know if this place actually existed or was a hoax. That is until we actually we walked in. This place is good. It's hard to find a good taco spot around. This place is a must try. Well worth it. The price is right and the tacos We had were very good and the horchata was very delicious. Havent been here in a few months. I wanted to like this spot, but they have a major issue with cutting up fresh al pastor right in front of your eyes, but then giving you the old, greasy, and dark al pastor from many hours ago. If they could just serve the freshly cut pastor, they would have a lot more business and much happier customers. read more

Parking is limited, so we were happy to snag one of the last spots. This is an order-at-the-counter spot with a salsa bar, hot beans, indoor and outdoor seating, and even Mexican Coke. Indoor seating is also pretty limited, so my friend and I were glad to grab one of the small tables. I ordered the lengua and asada tacos and both were flavorful, tender, and loaded with meat. I was honestly too hungry and eager to take a picture beforehand, but I can assure you the portions are plentiful. The tacos were a little greasy, but still really satisfying. Solid taco spot if you're in Pomona.

I also asked for "hot sauce" for my dish. They brought out a spicier house salsa as the hot sauce...totally understandable and the salsa here is usually free. Apparently it's a 4$ "chipotle sauce" that the waiter did not inform me would be charged. I would've easily just said I want tapatio or no "hot sauce". I used maybe a teaspoon for 4$. I told the waiter this when we questioned the bill and he just shrugged. These may seem like small inconveniences but when they seem like they intentionally don't tell you the details and then when called out about it just kinda shrug it off, it was a disappointing end to an otherwise tasty dinner. We love it here and will certainly be back but it just sucks that I have to be extra cautious & skeptical when ordering from now on.
