I came in for the first time with my parents Saturday. The gentleman working the register was so friendly right off the bat, he was showing my parents the tacos since it was our first time there. The prices were great, the menu is very small, they only have tacos and menudo on Saturday mornings. My issue was unfortunately the carne asada tacos were not all that. I felt like it lacked so much flavor even after adding the green chili and lemon, the horchata was made perfectly. The place is not too big, they do have a few booths which is perfect. The place did get really packed after we arrive around 6pm so I do recommend trying to get there a little early to get a table. read more

For me the best tacos are cabeza tacos, good flavor and with the mild salsa you can't go wrong ! I came here with my family to have tacos as we love their menudo, because of social distancing we decided to eat in the car as there was no room in restaurant to eat and be social distanced. My husband asked for two plates to separate tacos for our kid's we were told they can't give us any we have to pay .55 cents for two. Are you serious?! Spend $30 on tacos and your going to charge me for two plates WOW i would've asked for my tacos to be individually separated by order if I knew this would happen. I had been wanting to try this place for a couple months now. The tacos were great. The meat was of high quality...tender and flavorful. The price is good ($1.19). The tacos come with 5 choices of meats (cabeza, cachete, labio, asada, y lengua). I ordered 4 tacos (2 cachete 2 asada) but when I got back to work there were only 3...I paid for 4...total was about $5.20. I preferred the reddish green salsa better than the green. I like that you get cucumbers and radishes. The service was polite and fast (maybe too fast since they didn't get my order right). I parked on the street right in front of the place and I think there is some parking behind. These were really great tacos and I can see myself coming back and changing my review to 5 stars...I just (like most people) prefer to get my entire order. read more

I absolutely LOVE these tacos. Aside from homemade tacos de cabeza, these are my favorite in LA. I only get tacos de cabeza, so I don't know about the other meats, but these are some damn good tacos. The salsas are also quite delicious, but be careful with the orangey one (I'm pretty sure it's habanero). I came on a Taco Tuesday/5 de mayo and called about 1 hour ahead of time. I knew it was going to be a wait because of the date, but it was worth it to me. The staff and owner always have the best attitudes, even when customers start whining about the long wait. (Here's a hint, if you want fast tacos on an obviously busy day, GO TO Taco Bell and stop bugging hard working people on a TACO TUESDAY AND 5 DE MAYO. My favorite fish taco place had a 2 hour wait so that should also tell you something about how packed these places were that day.) It was very sad seeing people complaining about waiting for 45 minutes when all the staff was already rushing at max capacity. Anyways, love this place. They have a customer for life! read more

Love these tacos! Inexpensive, delicious, and restaurant is super clean. Nothing bad to say other than it would be nice if they accepted debit card since I rarely carry cash. But I don't mind having to make a stop at the bank to get some cash! They're the best! I've read some reviews on the attitude of the cashier ladies. I have noticed that they do not smile and they don't make you feel welcome. But I have never received attitude. Regardless I'm not there for a smile or to socialize with them. The meat is salty, they mixed up what toppings i wanted on what plates, it took 15 minutes to get served a total of 7 tacos, the salsa is flavorless and when i asked for a different salsa they said i had to pay for anything extra. And if you wanna feel like you're clubbing while you eat, or get a seizure, they have LED lighting behind the fans that gets very annoying, very fast.
