Been hearing very good things about Tacos Fita. So, we went with high expectations. Our lunch exceeded those expectations. Right off the bat, really good service and explanations of menu, patience with us as slow first timers. I had the Taco Norteño and Taco Chori-Shrimp, husband had the Burrito Norteño. It's not easy to crisp a flour tortilla without overdoing things. Fita nailed it. The Norteño had good quality beef nicely smoked, but it was the chorizo-shrimp taco that really got me. Wow, all around! The combination of proteins, the additional ingredients, terrific combination of flavors and textures. Husband's burrito was so large, he brought home nearly half. Between us, it tasted like we had a jalapeño green salsa and a chipotle red salsa, both really flavorful, nice kick. We'll be going back! read more

Wanted some Mexican food and looked up well rated places near me. This came highly recommended on Yelp so I figured I'd give it a try. I ordered the chicken plate to go. It came with beans, rice, chicken, cabbage, and pickled onion. Beans were watery with okay flavor. Chicken was grilled and had a nice flavor, but not much seasoning. Tortillas were homemade and tasty. Reminds me a lot of Baja Fresh, like a healthier take on Mexican food. Definitely not traditional or what I was expecting, but not bad. read more

Tacos Fita is utterly phenomenal. It's our current obsession. So happy they were able to open a brick and mortar store from their food cart. There's nothing on the menu I've had that hasn't been outstanding. This includes the guacamole (A MUST), chori-queso, any and all of the tacos (more on that later), torta or a quesadilla. K, so the tacos. I've built my own tacos there and had asada, ribeye and chicken. They're incredible. Under "Specialties" lie the true gems in my opinion, in particular the Taco Chori. Grilled shrimp, chorizo, grilled cheese and pickled onions (among other ingredients) works together so incredibly well. Oh, and their salsa roja might be the best salsa I've ever eaten. Anywhere. Perfect drink selection as well. I typically begin with their ruby sangria which is carbonated and comes in a nifty little carafe. Recommended! Staff is friendly, responsive and pleasant. Beaverton just keeps getting better and the quality and caliber of Tacos Fita is certainly contributing to that! read more

We stopped in around 4pm on a Sunday and it was pretty empty. We ordered at the counter, 4 tacos and two sodas for $37.50. A little steep for tacos - asada, shrimp, ribeye and fish. The tacos come out in taco holders and are pretty good sized, with a fair amount of meat. The flour tortillas are fresh with a really nice chew. Each plate had one type of salsa, I had green but preferred the red on my partner's plate. The fish taco was nicely fried with a thin, crisp batter. The ribeye had lots of flavor and was good with the red salsa. Service was somewhat non-existent as we ordered at the counter and then they brought the food out. There were a couple parties that came in confused with the process, waiting for someone to approach them at the patio tables. Overall good tacos, on the expensive side but pretty filling. read more

Delicious tacos! More highend for sure but they do give you a lot of high quality proteins per taco. Both their Chicken and Asada tacos were flavorful and well-seasoned. Their housemade flour tortillas had a really good texture. I also like the crispy cheese base they put the bottom. Salsas were also nice and spicy. Nothing to complain here I totally love the food. I went to the Tacos Fita in Beaverton. The sign says Fitas, but their website and Apple and Google Maps says Tacos Fita. Street parking can be a challenge. They are co-located with a coffee shop in an indoor food court that doesn't list either business, and it's not quite obvious where to order, but you'll figure it out. The person taking my order didn't know how to use the POS terminal. I had the Taco Norteno, for eight dollars, and it was delicious, albeit the steak was a little bit fatty. It comes with three sauces that are all quite spicy. It came out just a couple minutes after ordering. I ordered mine to go and ate it in the car, which is not recommended because it is quite messy. i really adore this newer spot in Downtown Beaverton! today is my birthday, so we went to Tacos Fita for lunch. it was our second time visiting, and this single visit alone was a 5/5 experience. we shared a platter of tortilla chips with pico de gallo, salsa, and guacamole for dipping. i had a carne asada taco and a chicken taco, my partner had a ribeye taco and a carne asada taco, and my kiddo had a cheese quesadilla. i also had an espresso martini while my partner had the mela mule. everything we ordered during this visit was top notch. in addition to how great the food is and how cool it is that they have both a coffee bar and a cocktail bar, the space in general is really well done. it's a very "blended" atmosphere--you'll notice people there working on their laptops, families eating together, people on dates. the space has such a cool vibe that's really welcoming to a variety of guests with different reasons for being there. as far as things we don't like or are so-so about, i was not a fan of the vegan al pastor tacos i tried during my first visit. i really enjoy eating plant-based when it's available, but those tacos were so bland... no flavor, no spice, even the pineapple was flavorless, and there was no salsa. i really wanted to like the fish ceviche. i enjoyed the overall flavor, but the ingredients were too chunky. i prefer my ceviche to be more finely chopped for a better dipping experience and better mouth-feel. it could have been way spicier too! read more

Decided to check this place out since they opened a month ago. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is how tastefully decorated the place is. The menu has just the right amount of selection where you don't get lost in the choices that you have to make. We had two tacos: one had the Carne Asada and the other was the taco el chema -they both were very flavorful. The dish that really stole the show was CHORI-QUESO with MELTED GOUDA & MONTEREY JACK, CHORIZO. Fantastic food! I checked this place out with my girlfriend for Fried Chicken Week. The fried chicken taco was delicious. The flavor was nostalgic for me as it reminded me of my childhood. Not because of the food, which was fine and keeps this from being a 1 star but because of this outrageous request by the server..."I don't mean to rush you... but we have a lot of people waiting." This was a Sunday night. I didn't actually notice too many people waiting but we had only been there about 45 minutes when that request came along. Since the food did not come out together we basically left 20 minutes after our last person got their food. Our family wasn't thrilled and left more confused than anything else. We probably would have had additional drinks or dessert but none was offered. We just were hurried along. The queso came with delicious slices of chorizo plus chips and tortillas. The cauliflower we wished was more flavorful. The carne asada sizzling platter came with a generous portion of meat and sides. Their sauces were so flavorful. I enjoyed both the green and red sauces a lot. This used to be "Batter Up" in Beaverton. They transformed the place into a spot with cool ambiance and a comfortable vibe featuring a little bar area. It shares space with a coffee shop. They have roll up doors when the weather permits. The tortillas are homemade and the carne asada was flavored well. I did enjoy the beans also. We ordered the chips and guacamole; the guacamole tasted like it was from a bag and not made fresh in house, it was just meh. I was not a fan of the rice either. Done with this place!! I've given them three chances to actually get my takeout order correct, and each time they've failed. On the menu it states that the veggie burrito comes with guacamole, and each time I've ordered it, there was no guacamole in my burrito. Annoying, and disappointing. This evening when I went in to order takeout, I was told that it would be $4 to add guacamole to my veggie burrito, even though I pointed out on the menu that it comes with it...what? Meh I'm over it, especially cuz the burritos are mid, at best. Also, there is no business phone number for me to call and talk with the owner about this. The ingredients are incredibly fresh, everything is made to order from scratch, even the tortillas, and it shows. My absolute favorites are El Norteño, La Chema, and the chori shrimp tacos -- all next-level, deeply comforting, and packed with flavor. My husband is completely obsessed with the ribeye asado and says he can never eat ribeye anywhere else again. High praise, and 100% deserved. Sorry to say this was our first and now our last time at this business tonight on August 9th. We were looking forward to our first dinner here after hearing of all the praise in the neighborhood. We started with guacamole and chips and a couple mocktails for me and my son. Once our orders arrived, we proceeded to enjoy our plates. Then the cleaning bucket and mop started to waft directly to our table only ten feet away. Whatever their floor cleaning solution was, it started to make my wife's lungs to close up, due to her asthma and sensitivity to VOC coming from these products. Our server kindly moved us and our entire meal over to their main dining area by the bar. But that solution did it last long. They started mopping up their kitchen with the same bucket and cleaner which now made its way to our section. The wife had to immediately wait outside not finishing her meal. We packed up to go what was left and paid our bill. I did mention to the staff how strong that cleaner was and how unpleasant it is to be eating their delicious food while breathing all that in. We would think they'd be doing all the heavy cleaning after all their guests had left not while we were all still in there with 20 minutes left before they close. We do hope they stop doing this, let's see how long they take to remedy this problem. read more

We've eaten there at least three times and every visit has been a lot of fun, and the food has been delicious. When they first opened they were a bit swamped in terms of ordering drinks from the bar, but the last time we went that seemed not to be an issue. Their asada and grilled shrimp bowl (and burrito) is my wife's favorite dish...although truthfully everything we've ordered has been great. And the owner is always smiling and welcoming...we love the ambiance and will definitely be back. We've also started jumping off the Max train on our way to the Moda Center for Portland Fire games to order an early dinner from their food cart at Pioneer Courthouse Square.
