I'm driving by one week. I saw a sign for $1.50 fish tacos on Fridays, and since I was coming back from the gym and running some errands I was pretty hungry. So I decided to stop by that Friday. The service was fast, and the ambiance was not bad either, it looks like they recently remodeled the inside. However, the tacos were pretty mediocre and they do charge additional for using a credit card, the presentation of the tacos wasn't bad. I probably wouldn't come back here again, but it's not the worst option ever, especially if you're coming on one of their Taco deal days like Tuesday for regular tacos or Friday for fish tacos. Poor customer service is thinking she was racist. I go to this taco spot on Rosecrans and order two asada tacos , so when I hand her my money,so goes " oh I can't take this money, I said why not, she says because it has tape on it and another customer might not want that bill. Wow really, you were worried about another customer getting my ten dollar bill with Scotch tape on it. If you have never had really good tacos, these will do but if you have had great tacos there's much to left desired. Tacos needed seasoning and cilantro. Salsa verde and roja were just ok. Service was friendly though no complaints there. Establishment was clean. read more

I just cant justify more than two stars. I came because I always pass by the place and had a taste for enchiladas. I see there is mixed reviews but didnt find it alarming. Sometimes the hole in the walls have good food. Not this establishment. I ordered the cheese enchilada plate and when I received it, the cheese was not melted. Actually, let me be more descriptive: Tasted like a cheap tortilla wrapped with Mozzarella I think and then shredded Mozzarella on top with lettuce tomatoes and crema on top. It seemed like a salad at first with rice and beans on the side. It was not melted! The rice and beans were not great either, oh my gosh so sad for me! $15 wasted and I really could have went to taco bell and got my moneys worth. Came here for Taco Tuesdays during my work lunch. Not worth the discounted price on the tacos. At all... Tacos are not great. Not the worst I have ever had, just super bland & generic. Nothing stands out. I got meh-self a sampler. Al pastor/Asada/Lengua/Carnitas etc, you literally cannot taste much difference. Tacos are super greasy and oily, pretty much drenched the foil wrappers and napkins in the to-go bag. Meat is poor quality which explains the lack of taste. Salsas are very runny. watered down. Sometimes is not an issue if it compliments the meat and tortilla. Sometimes just looks like a runny nose... Id rather pay regular price for better taste and quality. read more

Coming across Tacos Guadalajara thanks to their Fish Tacos Friday sign special was literally in perfect timing as we drove back on our way home. We pulled up with no expectations but are glad we stepped in we were greeted by the cashier who was a woman and very sweet she was attentive in answering any questions we had about their menu. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cute they had giant mirrors all around that made the place feel much bigger than it was. As for the food the fish tacos honestly were some of the best fish tacos I've had with their orangey sauce it was soooooo good the nachos were good as well especially because the meat had no grease falling off so it showed it was of better quality but still going back to the fish tacos I recommend coming in on Fridays for the special! read more

I live in the South Bay. Many years ago, I used to go to Guadalajara Tacos every Tuesday when it's on sale. One taco used to costs 70 cents, then 75, then 80, 85, 90 , 95, $1, now $1.25. Most of the time, I get pollo & asada tacos. They're delicious. My tacos have pollos & onions and asadas & onions. I also tried the wet burrito in red sauce. Delicious. Place looks decent however the tacos are the worst I've tasted in a long time, the meat was old and refried I dumped the food to the trash so did my co worker, grease dripping from the foil paper enough to get the napkins full of grease. Carnitas are just ok. Carne asada is tasty. Put that carne asada on top of fries instead of nacho chips and you have heart attack on a plate. Tasty, tasty heart attack inducing joy. The tacos were decent. Ordered 10 tacos for under 10 dollars. Tacos were decently filled and pretty decent tasting. Order 7 chicken and 3 carne asada tacos. I didn't have the steak but the chicken was good a lil juicy they were better with the salsa provided though (I missed the salsa and enjoyed it the most) The cashier at the time was pretty rude to my party giving us all glares and rolling her eyes and responded with an attitude when we asked for salsa on the side of our orders while grabbing the complementary sides available. Could tell before I walked up to order that she was already ready for me to leave. Not sure if she was having a bad day but I really didn't appreciate the attitude. Fish tacos on Friday are a fantastic value and taste great. Lots of Slaw on top. The salsa is flavorful. And lots of fish for a street taco.

I asked a couple of my coworkers to recommend me a good taco spot in the area and they all raved about this place. Mostly because they have .70¢ tacos every Tuesday. The place, at the time, had recently opened so I was a bit weary about what to order once I'd get there. I casually walked into the place and the guy at the register was on his phone texting. There was no hello, hi, or a welcome. I was checking out their menu when I suddenly see the guy walking away into the back of the restaurant. He didn't even bother to say he would be back. As soon as he walked towards the back I walked out of the restaurant. There was no way I was going to spend my money in a place where customer service is clearly not a priority. Months later after letting the grudge go I returned and there seemed to be more staff. I ordered a carne asada burrito and it was big and delectable! The girl at the register was nice and a much better upgrade to the other guy who was there during my previous visit. I now come here specifically for their carne asada burritos with the red sauce. I'm a huge fan of spicy food and the way they prepare their salsa does not disappoint. Go easy on the sauce if you can't handle heat. read more

Came here on Taco Tuesday as a recommendation from a friend .... mehhhhhhhh i have had better tacos , down the street from this place. First off there were like 30 people here all waiting for their 85 cent special tuesday tacos. I ordered 4 tacos and they said the wait would be about 20 min... wait what? Sat in the car because all the seats were taken. About 20 min later the place had cleared out, and i went in to get these magical tacos. At this point is where all my disappointments started to build. Looked for the salsa bar.. no they have the salsa in pre-filled cups Looked for the condiment section.... cucumbers were gone lol, very little limes, and carrots/onions looked stale. Passed on all of them. Got home , opened the foil to reveal SMALL TACOS (u get what u pay for). The carnitas were cubed and DRY DRY DRY DRY. Carne Asada was fatty with zero flavor. The tortillas deserve their own paragraph because they tasted like cigarette smoke - like someone had literally been smoking while making or flippin these bad boys. Utterly DISGUSTING. The reason i added one star is because the salsas were good. I wont be coming back to this place. First of all the girl at the register with the green hair was "RUDE" don't know her name because she wasn't wearing a name tag. It was a cold day so I ordered the Menudo. I know this place is not known for their Menudo but I ordered it anyway. When my husband brought it to the table it was just a bowl of tripe (no hominy) it was very dark in color and had a strong foul odor. I brought it to the cashiers attention and with a mean puzzled look on her face she said "that's how we make it." I asked for my money back and she argued with me about it and called The Cook over and it looked like they weren't going to give me my money back until I pointed at the sign which had a big bowl of menudo on it with hominy.
