In all my years visiting LA, I had yet to try a taco/burrito stand. Finally had the opportunity after shopping at Kim's Home Market after and it was the best choice! I am a huge fan of al pastor so was super excited to get a massive burrito for only $10! You can also grab your own veggies and condiments, and the avocado salsa was superb! The guys here are so friendly and would come back to this area just for their food!

My favorite taco stand in LA. The owner of this stand is so insanely nice, funny, and remembers all of his customers! Aside from amazing service, free flowing onions/salsas on the side, the tacos are here bomb. The pastor, asada, and cabeza are my favorite and when you add them with cheese? The best!!

Tacos la Bendicion is one of those incredible spots that you kind of want to keep to yourself because it's so good and the lines aren't too crazy (yet). But I know we all want the best for these people, so I'll join in the chorus of 5-star reviews for this taco stand. This taco stand is right outside Kim's Home Center in Koreatown, and it has some of the best al pastor and asada tacos / burritos I've had, especially in the Koreatown area. The salsas are also very flavorful and spicy, and the provided sides have been consistently fresh. The portions here are also very generous. The staff here are very nice, and they provide some chairs nearby to eat. It's always felt a very homely atmosphere here, and I've enjoyed every single one of my visits. Definitely give Tacos la Bendicion a visit if you're around!

The Al pastor tacos were juicy and crispy and full. Great unexpected taste! There was no line, but don't let that fool you! This place was worth it.

I was in the area and craving tacos so after a quick Yelp search I came across Tacos la Bendicion. I went around 9pm on a Sunday and there was a good amount of customers at that time but service was very quick. I ordered a carne asada quesadilla ($10), al pastor and chorizo tacos ($2.50 each), plate of rice and beans ($5), and horchata ($4). The entire setup was very clean and there were plenty of salsas and toppings to pick from. I'm so glad I found this gem because the food was delicious and all the meats had great flavor! Highly recommend!

Such a hidden gem, i'm sure many other taco stands are similar but tacos are truly unmatched in Southern california. Perfect amount of char, grease, & flavor. They load it up with meat. The tortillas are cooked in al pastor juices and the entire buffet of salsas, toppings on the side at your disposal make for a classic taco stand staple.

This was a nice little find. I was checking out Kim's Home Center for the first time, and this taco stand was set up outside. The tacos was $2 each and quite delicious. I got the pastor and asada. I love the pineapple slice that they add to the pastor tacos. It gives another layer of sweetness to the flavor. They also have a good selection of hot sauces. Their cooking smells delicious, and the taste match it. If you're craving good good tacos around this area, check it out.

When I just moved to Koreatown LA, and was looking for a new regular taco location, I'm glad I found Tacos La Bendicion! This location is an undisvoered gem in LA, and the staff was very kind. Gabino makes some fire tacos! He was very kind to us and got to know all our names. The Al Pastor Tacos along with the Carne Asada are definitely meats that you should try. I pineapple slices give a nice layer of sweetness to the flavor. There are the standard sauces too, and the condiments are perfect as well!

Having been to so many taco stands, I think what makes Tire Shop Taqueria really stand out are the right-off-the-grill charcoal-grilled meats, the freshly made tortillas literally in front of you as you are waiting on line, and the free guacamole that comes with each taco. The ordering process is like any other taco stand, though one difference is here the salsas/guacamole are all handled by the staff. If you'd like more of something, just ask them instead of reaching for the ladle yourself. There is a separate area though for grilled onions/peppers and radishes you can serve yourself. I got the asada, chorizo, cabeza, and al pastor, and they were all so good. The asada and chorizo are specifically grilled over charcoal, and that flavor really shines through. I loved how meaty and tender the cabeza was too, and the classic al pastor hit the spot. They have large communal tables setup, so it is a great friendly vibe to enjoy your meal I will say, the surrounding area is not the best in LA, especially given how the taco stand is only open at night. The parking lot is quite small, so I parked on a side street that had some abandoned cars, but of course, if you are in/from LA, this is not that new for us. I would hesitate if I am a tourist though to make it out here. Anyhow, the food really is worth it here, and I can't wait to be back!

We found easy street parking in the neighborhood on 41st Street, and waited in line for about 15-20 minutes. We ordered the asada tacos. They pre-sauce your tacos, which was fine by me, but my boyfriend who can't handle as much spice would've preferred it on the side (so warning for anyone similar! they do put a little habanero on them, so just ask them for salsa on the side). I think I ran into a problem of reading too many raving reviews -- these tacos were good but I was expecting them to be mind blowing, so I was a little disappointed. I tasted the charcoal char, but kind of wished the taste was more pronounced, or at least the meat more seasoned. The hand made tortillas were definitely the coolest part, but I thought they were a little dry too. The ladies whipping those out are artists though. Actually, all the workers here have the assembly line down to the tea, and they definitely add a little flare for a show. I particularly liked how they had a lot of seating at this location, instead of just a couple stools lying around like most taco trucks. It felt more like outdoor patio seating than a normal taco stand. They could probably take more time to wipe down tables more often though. Overall would visit again if in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way for the tacos here.

Everything came out to about $26 which is super reasonable! Service on a later end of the night was great! Super friendly and quick service. No indoor dining was available since they were closing in 15 mins. Food was ready in less than 10 mins. Salsa is free which both were delicious and had great flavor. Overall the food was delicious! We ordered just a couple tacos - one asada and one tripa, based on reading numerous recommendations that those are what to get here. $3.50 a taco which is not bad for a restaurant taco. It's a cool casual vibe here. Seating inside as well as the patio. They have tasty looking horchata and other agua frescas. Colorful walls. They bring your food out to you by calling your name. The tacos were loaded with a pretty decent amount of meat and toppings. But sadly we were far from impressed by the flavor. The asada was okay and better than the tripa, but it paled in comparison to our go-to taco trucks in the area which only costs $1. And the tripa was strange to eat in taco form. The tripa is crunchy small pieces so it just feels odd to eat in a taco. Maybe if it was just served as an appetizer to eat by itself, but even then, it kinda just feels like you're eating pellets. Don't see the hype unfortunately.
