Came by for lunch the other day and it was a tasty experience. Tacos La Morenita is parked on the side of the road and there were plenty of Hispanic blue-collar workers patronizing the taco stand while in their work uniform. Ordered a carne asada super quesadilla and it was huge, perfect for sharing! The quesadilla was filled with steak and cheese and came with a small side salad and some guacamole. Also ordered a couple shrimp tacos which was also quite tasty. Each shrimp taco had a ton of flavorful and tasty shrimp and was topped with some vegetables and avocado! Staff speak English and they also take credit cards! There is no dine-in option. Most seem to do take away and eat on the grass...

I stumbled upon this taco truck by chance, and I'm so glad I did! The food is absolutely delicious -- fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tacos were juicy and packed with flavor, and the salsa had just the right kick. You can tell they care about quality and freshness.

Best tacos ever, at least locally. I don't know of any other place that makes them this good. And you know it's delicious when everyone else in line is hispanic and ordering everything in Spanish. While I've also tried the burritos, the pupusas, and even the hot dog, the super tacos are my absolute favorite. Great salsa, lots of meat, they always have lengua in stock, and I get full just off of 2 tacos. As for the other items, the pupusas are also pretty good, but I do wish the outside dough was just a bit crunchier. Friendly service, and if you get lucky, you can also call ahead because I don't think I've ever seen this truck without a line.

I'm a park ranger in Cupertino and these kind folks were hired to cater an Apple event at my Park. I can say without a doubt these were some of the best food truck tacos I have ever tried! The flavor was there, the variety was great, and all the sauces were well made. All the staff in the truck are super welcoming and excited to make recommendations, I don't think I would have been disappointed with anything on their menu. If they ever return or I'm in San Jose I will definitely go back!

This is one kick-butt taco truck. I popped in on the way to the airport to pick up a bite, but was almost stopped in my tracks long enough to miss my flight. I ordered three super tacos, Al Pastor, which is plenty of food for one person. Because for street tacos, these tacos are substantial. They got them to me pretty fast, and the guy running the cart is gracious and speaks outstanding Spanish and English interchangeably. These are may be the second best tacos I've had in the South Bay , which is saying something, because I do eat a lot of tacos around here. Oh, the only thing that could be better is if there were some tables outside to sit on - there's just a curb, which makes the experience a little more legit, I suppose, but I was wearing nice pants, and I did not in particular feel like sitting on the curb. Overall though I would stop by again anytime.

Tres tacos de pastor, lengua, y cabeza

Great tacos and great service! Ordered three tacos: pastor, lengua, y cabeza. All three meats were cooked to perfection and seasoned beautifully. They have chips and a wide selection of salsas (cleverly stored in a little cupboard below the pickup window) that are all really good. As I was waiting for my tacos, one of the workers came out to wipe the tables and sweep the floor. It may be a taco truck but they take care of the space like it's a restaurant - so nice! I still have more taquerias to explore but I'm sure I'll be back here soon!!

My favorite taco truck in West San Jose is hands down Tacos Santiaguito…read more I have been sending taco fiends here for about a decade now. Located right off of N Saratoga ave, between hwy280 and Stevens Creek blvd, on the east aide of the street. You will find this gem in the evenings. This place has all the meats that a down foo was raised on, but my go to is always the Al Pastor! Perfectly marinated, huge portions, and even with the pineapple and sautéed onions deliver an amazing plate experience. Now what puts these guys a league above! You get to put your own choice of up to 3 different salsa's. Green and flavorful, orange habanero heat, or spicy red pepper goodness. Ample extras of radish, jalapeño, or onions and habanero slices for the folks who just have guts of steel. This place has such a following, there have been times when I was 10 people deep waiting in line to order. They are quick, yet always tasty. Give your tastebuds a treat!

I went back a couple of days ago and ordered a regular carne asada burrito, while my friend ordered the same burrito with pollo. Unfortunately, both burritos had very little meat and were mostly rice and beans. It was disappointing, to say the least. The payment experience also feels a bit uncomfortable. When paying by credit card, the machine presents fairly high default tip options, and with someone holding it right in front of you, it can feel like pressure to quickly choose one of the 15%+ options. As others have mentioned, the total adds up quickly. For two regular burritos and a manually entered $3 tip, we paid $27.50. For really solid burritos, that price would be fine. But based on this last visit, it was not worth it, and unfortunately, this may be our last trip there.

The best of the bunch was the dahi batata puri, but it still didn't quite hit the spot. It was definitely on the sweeter side and I felt like the dahi/yogurt wasn't as creamy as I prefer. The chinese bhel was okay, but didn't have much flavor. Lastly the ragda pattice had so much potential. The flavor was there, but it was insanely spicy- even as someone with a med/high spice tolerance. You could feel the burn traveling down to your stomach. Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. Thank me later.

It wasn't overly florally, instead it just enhances the coffee without overpowering. Even more so, the vanilla latte was even better because that Madagascar bean flavor really shines through. I recommend getting this one if you're unsure what to order. We got to chit chat with the owner and he makes all the syrups from scratch.
