Pop up matcha shop that also sells their matcha powders. Selling out of a small green trailer. Saw on IG And made a stop here. Plenty of parking in this plaza and has some tables outside to hang out. Quick service and had like 5 min wait on Thursday afternoon. Got the double strawberry and the cherry vanilla matcha latte. They don't require tip here. Hand whisked matcha made to order. Drinks were creamy and balanced well with the cream top and fruits. Has a nice strong matcha flavor. The double strawberry had a strong matcha cream top and a nice strawberry flavor top. The vanilla cherry is on the sweeter side due to the vanilla but still tasty. First time hearing about a cherry puree and worked out pretty good. Would come back to their future pop ups or store!

Line on a Tuesday at 11:30am

I've been seeing matcha matcha online and had my eye on it for a while, so I knew where to go Tuesday morning when I had a craving for some good matcha. They opened at 11, and I came by around 11:30 and there was a line of about 10 people in front of me - I waited about 25 minutes. They do whisk each drink to order, so each person/party places their order, they make the drink, and then they take the next order, but it still moved reasonably quickly. The truck was located on the side of the road, and there are some benches/tables outside on the grass that are a convenient place to put your drink down, take some pictures, and maybe sit for a bit with a small group. Drinks are all $8, which is a bit pricey, but the quality is definitely there. I got the cherry vanilla matcha, which seems to be a seasonal special - it's a unique flavor combination I haven't seen before so I was a little scared that it might not work, but I actually enjoyed this; it almost tastes like a creamy cherry vanilla soda that blends surprisingly well with the slightly savory vegetable matcha that they use. I do find that the cream top didn't seem to add much to the drink for me, and I would have preferred it without the cream top, or perhaps with a matcha cream top instead. I did also find some small bits of what seemed to be 2-3 bits of cherry pit or stem in the drink, but nothing too bad. Overall, a really tasty treat with a good quality, strong matcha. A little bit of a splurge, but worth it every now and then in my opinion!

Cutest matcha trailer ever! While they work on their brick & mortar storefront, they currently have their trailer open Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 11am-5pm. Catch them at the parking lot of Casa Carmela a few streets past Mitsuwa. Drinks: Matcha Latte Sesame Hojicha Hojicha Latte + Cream top Yuzu Matcha They ran out of Hoji Hoji very early the day I went, about an hour after opening, hojicha latte topped with hojicha cream too. Gotta go back for that! I did want to try sesame cream and it was so good! I got no added sweetener. I got my friends the other three drinks. Traditional matcha latte has the prettiest orchid blossom on top. I didn't realize I could get the matcha cream top for the same price. $8 for all drinks right now. Whole milk or Oat milk available Regular sweet/Less/None added options Their matcha powder is available for sale online or on site. They were running a free hojicha tin promo previously, might still be going on. Customer service was great! They're nice, patient people. Just give them the same respect, especially in this heat. Some customers brought umbrellas to keep them cool. Speaking of shade, staff nicely put up a tent gazebo with a couple of folding chairs to sit on when waiting for the drinks. They made them pretty quickly so despite the twenty minute line to order, my order was done in about five minutes. They also put out cup holders once they realized I had four drinks. I'll go back for the hoji hoji!

Huge fan of this place! I came on a Saturday afternoon and waited a little under 30 mins for my drink. I ordered an iced matcha latte with regular sweetness and oat milk and it was perfect. It tasted creamy with good froth. You can taste the matcha flavor come through. The drinks are whisked by hand. I appreciated the fact that there's a kids menu too! It's operating as a truck in a parking lot at the moment, but I'm excited that there's a permanent location coming soon! Can't wait to come back and try the other flavors.

So obsessed with this cute matcha trailer Matcha matcha is currently serving from a pop-up trailer, with a full store coming soon and the drinks are worth the stop. What I tried: Matcha Matcha - matcha latte with matcha cream on top, my favorite! The ultimate combo for matcha lovers (pro tip: check out the off menu double strawberry, basically this but with strawberry puree!) Strawberry matcha latte - matcha latte, strawberry puree with cream top, so classic, also another fav! Choco-jicha - hojicha latte with chocolate cream, I love how rich and nutty their hojicha is. Lemon matcha latte - lemon curd + cream top, sweet and slightly tangy. Basically like a lemon meringue tart with matcha. Yuzu matcha - sparkling, citrusy, refreshing. I like that there's a mix of creamy lattes and refreshing non latte options, so you can pick depending on your mood. The line does get long as they hand-whisk each drink on order. I was there slightly before they open at 12pm and was able to avoid a wait by being the first few in line. Stay tuned for their physical store coming soon. Save this for your next matcha run!

A great matcha spot that I've seen on social media. It's so unique. The line tells it all. Parked in a plaza, parking can be tricky as spots filled up quick but folks order and go so there's usually a spot. I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and there were about 10 people ahead of me. I ordered the strawberry matcha with less sugar. The drink was perfect. Not too sweet with strong strawberry flavor. I'll be back to try other drinks!

I'm pretty picky with my matcha and this place is good! I've been twice but tried multiple drinks (matcha matcha, matcha latte, lemon, strawberry matcha). You can actually taste the matcha unlike a lot of other matcha places where it's just sweet. If you get the flavored drinks though, the matcha is more hidden. For example the matcha latte with sesame cold foam or strawberry matcha, it's harder to taste the matcha flavor. But that's expected as the other flavors are just much stronger. This is a very small pop-up truck so it does take a little bit longer at times to get ur drinks. And it's in a parking lot, so a grab and go. Pricing is average, but love that they charge the same price for diff drinks. Definitely one of the top matcha places in the bay that I've tried.

I'm so happy I finally got to try this place! The wait is worth it so don't give up. It is run by 2 ppl. I've gotten the chocolate hojicha, lemon curd matcha, and double strawberry. The double strawberry is my fave! Thank you for creating it! Perfect balance of all the flavors and not too sweet! The trailer is located at Casa Carmela. There's a parking lot there. If it's sunny, bring a hat or umbrella. I came on a Tuesday around 12pm and waited around 30 mins but I expected that

It has been on my to-go list for awhile and I was excited to hear they're doing a pop up in Saratoga. I came around 2:30pm and their was a long line. I recommend coming early since most of the items I wanted to try was sold out by the time I came. It's a small truck but plenty parking. Drinks: - Matcha Latte: classic, thin matcha but not as strong as I was expecting, borderline watered down but also a good amount of the bitterness compared to sweet matchas - Hojicha Latte: roasted part of the leaf, unexpected favorite, strongest in terms of flavor profile, but it feels like it was not broken down enough since I can taste the graininess/powder? - Kochi Tonic: a sparkling yuzu matcha, yuzu overpowered the matcha, but still refreshing and citrusy. I couldn't taste the matcha

Stopped by because I saw some facebook posts about it. Line was long so it much be good right? Drink was $8 with a full cup of ice and drink is below average. Not worth it and will not return. Got the Matcha Latte with Vanilla cream

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, when my partner and I had to stop by this matcha pop up. It was rather dissatisfying. There was a huge line, but it moves incredibly slow and to top it off the matcha wasn't even that good. It is as if they ran out of sweetener because all of our drinks were bitter. They also ran out of the strawberry jam, but they didn't warn anyone in the line that they ran out. Imagine all I wanted was a strawberry matcha, and lo and behold they don't have anymore. It would not be too hard for one of the three employees to just warn the line that they ran out. Though the matcha looked like it would be so good, it ended up being just all ice and pretty mid. Unfortunately I would not try this spot again.

Saw this place on Instagram and just and to check it out! It was a nice vibe for sure! Interesting considering it's in a parking lot but their little van is adorable. The drinks are around $7-8 but aren't all drinks nowadays lol! The employees were so nice and even complimented my friend's shoes! We got the strawberry matcha and matcha cream matcha. They were both chalky and had an excellent taste. Perfect sweetness level. Definitely going to come back!

One of the best matcha spots in the Bay Area. I definitely recommend coming early, even 10-15 minutes before opening because the line does get long. But honestly, it's worth the wait. The matcha tastes fresh and high quality, and the service is always excellent. I can't wait until their storefront officially opens. I also love that you can adjust the sweetness level, though I do wish they let you customize the ice level too. I've been here a few times now, and here are my thoughts on the drinks Matcha Matcha -- 5/5 So good. Probably my favorite drink on the menu. The matcha flavor is rich and bold, and the cream top is the perfect finishing touch. Strawberry Matcha -- 5/5 Another top contender. The strawberry puree complements the matcha really well without overpowering it like some other places, so you can still fully taste the matcha. Hojicha Latte -- 2.5/5 This one was a little disappointing for me. I usually love hojicha, but this tasted overly milky and slightly chalky, with only a faint roasted nuttiness. Overall, I couldn't really taste much hojicha flavor.

Then as she was making the drink, she had mine sitting at the counter for a good few minutes without calling my name because she was busy chatting it up with a customer, handing him a note, talking about travel plans, etc. When I asked where my drink was and that I had been waiting for a while the other barista proceeded to say that they've just been busy. No, the tatted Asian barista with an eyebrow piercing was just not serving each customer kindly. I've come here for years and have had good experiences, but based on my last visit, I'd come back for the quality coffee but not with a high expectation for the service and if I had a lot of time between grabbing coffee and the next thing - I was here for over 20 mins before I got my drink

There was a mix of people studying, working, and chatting with friends; it's a very lively community spot. Despite how chaotic it was, the space was generally clean and the service was great. The cashier made sure to get our names and address us by them. The decor is beautiful, feeling intentionally designed. I thought it was really cool that they have a slow coffee bar area specifically for pour overs (I think) where tech isn't allowed, so people are just supposed to sit and enjoy their coffee. I've never seen that before in a coffee shop. The menu is extensive. Since it was later in the day, the baked goods were half off, which was a nice surprise. I got a blueberry latte and an Asian fusion focaccia bread. Blueberry latte - I liked this! The blueberry flavor was subtle and not overly sweet or artificial tasting. It added a light fruity note to the coffee without overpowering it. Fusion focaccia bread - This was tasty, but I felt the original price was steep ($12). My piece was around 6" x 3".
