What a wonderful taco truck located in the parking lot of a closed liquor store. Decided to try a little bit of everything and ordered carne asada tacos, burrito and nachos. Tacos were solid, great flavor on the carne and the taco was pretty big! Burrito was also huge but the ratio of meat to beans and rice was perfect. The nachos is where they lost us. We ordered carne asada and nfortunatly they ran out so we had to opt for chicken. Chicken was ok, a little dry and just overall not as yummy as the tacos and burrito. There was only one person ahead of us when we ordered and it look about 20 mins to make our order. The line started to pile up so i can image those orders took about 30 mins.

The food here is amazing. Especially their burritos. I bring family and friends here when they're craving a big, delicious burrito. Every thing is freshly made so patience on the wait times is recommended. I also recommend calling ahead and picking up your order to avoid long wait times. Tasty& spicy salsas, good quality meat. And every time I go the gentleman helping me with my order is always kind enough to give me extra salsas, napkins, or a bag.

One of the best tacos in Sunnyvale. Great people with great food. Been here two years ago and forgot the name of the place, but found it by luck heading to Apple campus for an event. Literally 5 minus from the campus across the street from Kaiser in a store parking lot off Homestead. Very spacious parking and they have a few tables to dine in if you wanted to. Ordered two Margarita asada tacos. It's about $2 more than a regular tacos and much bigger with beans and they are delicious. Must try when in Sunnyvale.

This taco truck is across the street from my work so it's very convenient to just walk over. I've actually never tried their nachos before, but it's so good! fully loaded, didn't skimp out on the meat or toppings. Although I'm told the line can get long during lunch hour they are quick.

I love the food at Margaritas Taqueria, but I'm officially done. I always customize my burritos to remove onions and cilantro because I literally cannot eat them. When ordering on DoorDash, the notes are always ignored and the food arrives wrong. I started going in person specifically to make sure the order would be right, but even then, I get home, open it up, and it's full of stuff I can't eat. At least with DoorDash I can get a refund, but when I buy it in person, I'm just out the money and my dinner by the time I get home. I saw a new location opened and I wanted to check it out, but it's just not worth the risk of wasting more money. I won't be back. They really need to fix how orders are handled.

Really craved tacos one morning and decided to check out a new to me spot that's been in my bookmarks for a while. Stationed in a small parking lot, they already had a few parties waiting off to the side and a couple more people for pick up orders while I was deciding what to get. The man taking orders was so nice and even offered me samples of the asada and cabeza so I could taste the difference. I ended up ordering 3 asada tacos, 3 cabeza tacos and a side of rice and beans (total was $27). Waited for less than 10 minutes and my order came out piping hot with a side of pickled onions (they recommended I try it) and medium and hot salsa. The tacos were delicious! Meat was tender and flavorful, and they did not skimp on the portion at all. Was very satisfied with everything I ordered and will be back whenever the craving hits!

A food truck tucked in a small plaza. Food took a little longer. The burrito was huge, and the flavors were not bad.

"Little Donkeys" Ep. 5 This place is located in Santa Clara not too far away from Apple. I usually call ahead of time to order my food. That way I'm not there waiting all day. The lady said it would take 12 minutes. Took about 20 minutes. Felt like forever especially when lunch is about 30 minutes long. Besides the wait, that burrito hit the spot! Crunchy flour tortilla which I love. Pico de gallo, rice, beans, mild sauce, and carne asada was flowing perfectly! I'm not too full and it was just the right size. I'd have to give this burrito : 8.8 / 10 Good job!

Amazing taco truck next to the Santa Clara Kaiser. Very friendly owners, and the food has amazing price given the quality. The cabeza and horchata were so good! Definitely recommend stopping by

Some of the best tacos I've had in awhile, and possibly ever (top 3 for sure)! So glad I found them on Yelp because they aren't in an area I frequent, and when I am in that area they're tucked away just enough that I wouldn't have noticed them. I got an order of 6 tacos and tried 5 different meats. In order of my favorites, I went with the cabeza, asada, al pastor, pollo, and carnitas. Don't count the carnitas out though, they were my mom's favorite and the one we ordered two of so we could each have our own. The meats were all super flavorful and pretty tender too, especially the cabeza, which was melt in your mouth good. I got their least spicy salsa and some of the pickled onions, which none of the tacos really needed, but was a nice addition of flavor to some of them. The guy taking orders was super friendly, the food came up quick, and they have covered outdoor seating back next to the liquor store.

They have interesting dishes with paneer and chicken as well. We ordered two dishes- Leela lasun keema - This dish was intriguing, with cheese, grated egg, and a rich, spicy gravy. The portion size was generous; a single person won't be able to finish it with just three breads. It was very filling, we took back home the leftover and enjoyed it later with some rotis. They have another version of this- "kachu" with runny eggs instead of grated eggs.. well thought option! Volcano egg biryani- The dish is as interesting as its name suggests. The base is an omelette, and the rice is flavorful with bell peppers, finely chopped veggies, and aromatic spices. The center is with a tomato-based curry. The cheese on the side was amazing, and I loved it. The spicy guava drink is super refreshing with a playful mix of spice, salt, sourness, and the sweetness of guava. I really enjoyed it! They have music playing and the place is lit, creating a total vibe for spending time in the evening on a lazy weekend/ after work, or post-workout. The food is pure indulgence and covered our protein requirements with eggs, along with some fat to burn off. Kinda guilt free. Also, they have games, garba events and other many interesting things going on at different times. Superb vibes, never disappoints! Conveniently located in Sunnyvale - easy to find parking. Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else. I first stopped by a few weeks ago and ordered the cabeza, lengua, and tripa. The lengua was tough, the cabeza was decent, and the tripa was bland. I went home ready to type up a review, but after reading that they're better known for their al pastor, asada, and campechanos, I decided to hold off and give them the benefit of the doubt with a second visit. Stopped by again tonight, and unfortunately, they're consistently average at best. The workers looked like they didn't really want to be there on either visit, they're pretty skimpy with a strict two-sauce-cup maximum, and none of the meats really stood out. Out of the six tacos I've tried here, the cabeza and al pastor were the best. However, the bar is pretty low. It's a textbook 3/5, wouldn't make a special trip out.

I chose carnitas and adobada (that saucy red mole-like one!). The adobada was rich, flavorful, and unique, while the carnitas, although a bit dry, had a nice smokiness. The sweet bite of the onions really balanced the tacos--maybe a touch more cilantro and onions next time. + Kat's carnitas burrito was bright red and juicy (I found it perfect, even if she thought it was a tad dry). Mixing the spicy corn-bean blend with hot salsa and pico de gallo? That's a flavor bomb right there. - Carne asada nachos, while generous, fell flat. There was also quite a generous portion of guacamole along with sour cream. My only complaint is the meat lacked that smokiness or char of most asadas. It felt bland--almost taste boiled. I took the meat home to doctor it up! Service/Ambiance (4 stars) + I put this under service because I'm a fan of the unexpected and getting chips with our meal was a nice touch. Bonus Star! ~ You order at the counter, grab your own drinks. Staff were minimal but efficient enough for what it was. It's casual--not full service, but they get the job done. ~ Ambiance is simple--nothing fancy. You've got a salsa bar, a drink station, and it's very much a "grab a table" kind of place. Overall, for a quick, affordable sit-down Mexican spot, it hit the spot for me. My friends rated it 3.5 stars, but I loved it. I'd come back for the carnitas burrito and salsa bar alone!
