Okay, I had to update my review because of what happened this weekend. we had a huge show at our store, and we had already secured a taco vendor who had committed to showing up there. when I got to the store to open up to set up for the event I got an email that they had backed out and didn't want to do our show. Not surprisingly, I was freaking out. Fortunately when I had had Tacos Lokos on Thursday, I had taken a picture of the front of his cart and had the phone number. I called up Raul at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday and woke him up and asked him if he could do it. He said, "Dude, I've got you! You're covered! I will be there before noon." And he did, he had me covered, and he rocked our event. That is no easy feed for only 3 hours notice. This just cemented his spot as my number one go to for any event that I do in the future. Oh man where do I start. Tacos Locos catered a family party of about 60 + adults and kids. Amazing variety of food, sides and most importantly friendly faces and service. The food was all amazing, but hands down was the Al pastor Quesadilla. It had so much flavor and it was huge! Easily a 13$+ plate at Any Mexican restaurant. Usually with catering taco companies, the tacos can be bland and the salsas are boring, but not with these guys. Amazing tacos, salsa, sides and even Aguas frescas. I had the horchata, super tasty and not too sweet. They had plenty off food for the entire party, almost everyone had seconds, and were also very happy with the food. Finally, I now know of a restaurant grade Mexican catering company. The owner was also very friendly and you can tell is passionate about what he does, and you can sure taste it. I decided to catch him at Towne Park in Anaheim the following Friday and ordered almost everything on the menu! The asada Mexican pizza he made us was BOMB y'all - still dreamin' about it! We ordered tacos (asada and al pastor con piña!) and they were hot, fresh and so tasty! We had a quesadilla and it was loaded and so great, he added this amazing chipotle crema that he makes and it really added that little extra somethin' somethin'.
