    Enjoying Authentic Sonora style cuisine
    Tintin B.

Simply Amazing!! I really enjoyed having breakfast here at Los Sanchez restaurant in Garden Grove. The service was fantastic and the Authentic Sonora Mexico cuisine was amazing. The Al pastor was definitely worth the ride here. You have to try their great breakfast special Chorizo and eggs with fresh guacamole and potatoes and refried beans. Everything was delicious and taste so fresh. Definitely worth the visit and the price is just right. Lots of free parking and only a few minutes from the Great Wolf Lodge too. Come and enjoy what everyone has known for over 25 years now. See you here and ask for Savanna at the cashier.

Everything we've tried so far was all delicious! Tacos, quesadilla, enchilada, burritos, chimichangas, ceviche! They even have breakfast items like pancakes and French toast! And if you have picky eaters in your party like we do, well they have French fries, burgers, grilled cheese and more! The micheladas are also yummy. They're very nice and patient when taking orders too. I recommend!

Carnitas and Chile Verde burritos. 32 oz cervezas

We had Excellent pork chile verde and carnitas burritos with Red and Green sauce. Lots of meat, but they actually looked and tasted the same. Two giant cervezas made it all good!

I haven't been here for a while, but everything was just liked I remembered. Order from the counter and they call your number when the food is ready. Everything is made fresh. My wet burrito was huge. The enchiladas had a side of lettuce with sour cream and guacamole. I like seeing pictures of their food. All the employees are really nice. Tables are cleaned quickly when anyone leaves. They have plenty of parking.

Omg total let down.....I was having high expectations for this, but sorry to say it disappointed today I got number 24 tacos dorados plate it was soooo bland. Just boiled meat no flavor whatsoever. I tried putting salsa and salt , but it didn't really help. Service was good. Ambience was good lots of sitting very clean. We also had a flan for dessert that was good. Over I wouldn't come back if I did then definitely will try to order something else. But for me, it's the one time visit. .

I Placed A Delivery On DoorDash. My 'Special Notes' Were Extra Everything Which I Also Mentioned Jalapeños & Extra Salsa. I Got The Extra Everything Minus The Extra Salsa. But The Nachos Overall Was Pretty Tasty!!!

Probably some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! We stopped here after a concert at The Garden Amp. I had the beef taquitos combo plate. Fast, friendly service. Can't wait to return!

The atmosphere here is very authentic and old school. I got the chili verde and sadly it was a bit depressing as it didn't have any fatty meat. The portions here do justify the price even if the wood was just okay. The chips and beans were good. Also got the pina aqua Fresca and it was a little too sweet for me so I only drank half. Will come back to try something else and hopefully it will be better.

Built a tripas taco from the Tripas Plate
    Smaly K.

We were craving tripas, and my cousin likes this place, so we came here for the tripas plate and also got the Camarones Empanizados. We came to order to-go on a Saturday evening, and it wasn't too crazy busy. The tripas were extra extra crispy, too crispy for me. Everywhere else, I always order tripas and ask for it extra crispy, and they're all still less crispy than how they make it here. The tripas were all crunch, no chewiness to it. I'd like it have some chewiness to it. The fried shrimp was good. It would be nice if it came with some sauce/salsa. My cousin kept complaining about that; she really wanted salsa with it. We just assumed it would since we get sauce at just about every other Mexican place.

    Mom's 83rd Birthday!

My family and I have been going to Los Sanchez since 1985. We have so many great memories at this restaurant! It is welcoming and has a strong family atmosphere. We took my 83 year-old Mom to Los Sanchez for her birthday last night. The food was great and the staff and patrons sang happy birthday to my Mom. They gave her flan with a candle and a gift! So sweet and my Mom loved it! I highly recommend Los Sanchez!

Super yummy food with great customer service! The food is delicious because I keep coming back. However, one employee treats their sauce like it's gold. I always got sauce for free to go and then all of a sudden he decided he wanted to start charging me. Sometimes I get charged, and sometimes I don't. It's very frustrating because they only except cash. There was a female employee that used to work there during the day. I haven't seen her for a while, but I wish she would come back. Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

I used to come here on Taco Tuesdays only because the tacos were $1 and the line at El May is always too long. I chose convenience over taste, but in the end, this place offers neither. On my last visit, I waited about 40 minutes for my tacos. I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. I threw the remaining three straight into the trash. I genuinely chose to go hungry rather than finish them. The meat and tortillas were both bad, and the portion sizes were pitiful. I honestly don't recommend this place at all, especially when Tacos El May is literally right next door.

I really liked: Baja Fish Taco…read more Churro I liked: Asada Mulita This was ok: Burria Taco The Baja fish taco is the standout #goodeats here. The crisp on the fish is solid, and it tastes clean without being overly greasy. Pair it with their sauce and it really comes together. The churro was super fresh and honestly one of my favorite parts of the meal. Light, crispy, and just sweet enough. If they added a chocolate dipping sauce, it would go crazy. The asada mulita leans heavily on the cheese. The cheese itself is good, but the asada doesn't bring much flavor, so it feels a bit one-note. The burria taco is just okay. It's a little dry, and while the sauce helps, you can still tell it's lacking some juiciness. Service is pretty straightforward. You walk up, order at the window, and grab your food when it's ready. Nothing over the top, but it gets the job done. I did appreciate that they'll pack up grilled onions and cucumbers if you ask. Nice little touch that adds to the experience. The plaza it's located in is super cute and honestly adds a lot to the visit. There's plenty of open seating, and it feels like a great spot for family hangouts or casual group meals. There's usually music playing, which gives it a fun, lively vibe.
