Never been to the location, but ordered the Spicy Birria ramen. Very interesting concept. It's not homemade Ramen. They basically take a packet of Ramen, cook it and add the beef Birria. I ordered extra meat and they were very generous. No disappointment here. I'll be ordering it again. Next time I will opt for extra onions and cilantro. The crunch from the onion and the freshness of the cilantro really did give it a good flavor, and I just needed more of that. read more

Making another review, I previously left a good review but I have changed my mind. We ordered a birria ramen and my husband ordered tacos with consome and it was cold, not even warm, cold. We told them it was cold and they just put more cold consome. How is it supposed to cook if it's cold? I could not even try it, I waited and it never cooked. Came in for lunch to try them out. Place is very clean and I like the setup. Service was great and super friendly. We ordered campechana fries, an asada burrito, a lengua taco and fish tacos. It's decently priced, a little higher than I thought. The fish tacos you have to order 2, they don't sell them as a single taco. The fries were good, I would order them without the beans honestly, it had more beans than protein but the protein was good. The lengua taco was delicious, very flavorful and tender. The fish tacos I wouldn't order again, the fish was very dry and the sauce on it wasn't good either. The burrito was ok but the meat was dry and they fill it with a lot of rice and beans. The salsas are really good and fresh and compliment the food well. I'd try again but there's other spots that are better for the same price. read more

The sauce for the chile relleno was extra good homemade sauce. It complemented the poblano chile relleno very well. The salsa bar, sauces, and condiments are especially good! I loved the pickled onions and radishes. They have counter service and bring the tray to your table. The staff is friendly and helpful. I placed an online order on Sunday for 3 orders of flautas scheduled for pickup at 10:30 AM. I arrived at the restaurant around 10:40 AM and asked for my order. The cashier informed me they could not find it in their system. I showed them my order confirmation, which clearly displayed the order number, items ordered, total amount paid, and the correct restaurant location. Despite this, I was repeatedly told they could not make my order because they did not have a ticket in their system. I then asked a very reasonable question: if you can see the confirmation and payment information, why not simply make the order? I was told they needed approval from corporate or a regional manager before they could do anything. This was all over an order of 3 flautas. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of urgency or willingness to resolve the issue. I ended up leaving without the food I had already paid for because the staff refused to either make the order or issue a refund. Ironically, after I got home, the restaurant called me using the phone number attached to the online order. They explained they eventually found the order because the system had saved it under the name "Guest," which is why they initially could not locate it. At this point, I'll work with my bank to recover the money, but the experience highlights how much damage poor customer service can do to a business. The burden of understanding the restaurant's internal systems should never fall on the customer. When a guest arrives asking for an online pickup order at the exact scheduled time and presents a valid confirmation matching the items ordered, common sense should suggest it may be the same order sitting in the system. What bothered me most was the complete lack of problem-solving and customer care displayed by the staff member assisting me (Anna). Mistakes happen, especially with online ordering systems, but customer service is measured by how employees respond when problems occur. Unfortunately, this experience showed a complete disregard for basic customer service and guest satisfaction. read more

The food was very good. We went for taco Tuesday ($2.00 ea). We went for a quick bite. My hubby had 3 tacos and a bottled soda, and I had 2 tacos. Their salsa bar was good with a variety of salsas and other items. There is a fountain drink bar that also had juice drinks. The counter service was so dry. The young lady had no personality and made no suggestions nor did she direct us to the salsa bar or to the fountain drinks. It wasn't busy; no line, so its not like she was in a rush. My hubby was looking around to see if they had a fountain bar and even asked, "what kind of soda do you have?" He then saw the bottles behind her in the refrigerator, so he ordered from there. We didn't know they had a fountain bar area. I discovered it after, while looking for the salsa bar. The place was nicely decorated and has a few TVs. This is the 5th time and probably the last time I will be coming to this or any other location, I've had the nachos with carne asada , pastor tacos , and the aguas frescas and none of these items merit the price point nor do they uphold the mission statements of what the company proclaims. Another thing that I many others find unacceptable is the fact there is zero transparency on if the birria is actually Goat or Beef that day. Most people that are not of Mexican descent wouldn't know any better but would appreciate the transparency concerning the type of meat they are to be consuming. BOTTOM LINE UP FRONT : Carne Asada Nachos are definitely a mess and the meat is reminiscent of old /outdated bottom shelf asada sold at a Marianna's or La Bonita. Flap steak that isn't chewy is much more preferred. Additionally, the pinto beans are lazy and not like abuela used to make. The shredded cold cheese mixed with room temperature nacho cheese is not the spectacular combo one is looking for. Bean and cheese burrito - don't know who prefers Cold wet pinto beans and cold cheese in a warm tortilla but , chale throw some refried beans with some flavor and melted cheese and we might have a love connection. Aguas frescas- Pina or Pineapple tastes like a syrupy cheap pineapple raspado flavor and room temperature cough syrup mixed together . horchata - this tastes like a gritty , sandy glass of Lukewarm dishwater with a splash of vanilla extract. Please do better with the prices and or quality love to support Brown Businesses but can't cosign some of these ridiculous missteps hope y'all take some of these critiques for corrective actions. ***UPDATE **** the owner reached out and it was much appreciated to engage with a professional owner and devoted businessman who takes his passion and business serious. The owner reached out within 15 minutes of posting and wholeheartedly addressed concerns as well as being personable and professional. Most owners are reluctant to even engage or have the leadership to go the extra mile to improve their business , engaging with such a dedicated owner most definitely warrants another opportunity to try them out , how can you not support a local family business that strives for sustained excellence? Tried fries again, and again soggy and undercooked, this is why Im scared to try cali burrito. Ordered the chile rellano burrito tonight. There was maybe a teaspoon of cheese. Burrito was 60% breading and beans. Barely any rice or cheese. The menu states that there are NO beans listed in the description and comes with a protein of your choice which I did not have an option to choose or get any. Such a waste of money! We just tried Tacos Los Barrios and we found the best Mexican food in Vegas. The tacos, tortas, chile relleno, and chicken nachos were off the hook. My wife and I tried the chicken asado, carnitas, carne asada, and Al pastor quesa tacos and were were blown away. The meat was so fresh and tasty it didn't need any salsa. The crisp cheese on the outside gave it just a wonderful crisp. We loved everything and will be back. The rice was outstanding and so were the beans. Their tacos are absolutely top-notch--some of the best we've had here. Today we tried the flautas and nachos, and both were excellent.
