A bit of a whole in the wall located in a strip mall. The lady who took our order was very nice and answered all of our questions. We tried a shrimp taco, fish taco, and Mexican pizza. Each item was really great, especially the pizza. I was also impressed with the quality of the shrimp, fish, and beef. Everything was great. We will be back to try some enchiladas and a burrito very soon.

Cute little hole in the wall, very clean and bright, maybe 8 tables. People very friendly and welcoming, seemed like a Mexican family owned. Disappointed no salsa bar and not many items on the menu, but enough of everything. Wanted authentic Mexican so chose this place from yelp reviews. Bad choice. Carne asada fries made from frozen French fries not even fried crisp, little bits of cooked carne asada that was extra crispy and so dried out and small(it's like the cooked the meat chopped it up and deep fried it with the fries) soggy, not good of a mess, their red enchilada sauce which they smothered them in was decent. Then there was the disappointed fajitas, not on a sizzling platter smelling amazing, not juicy and fresh, but overcooked and soooo dried out. No sides of sour cream, guacamole, any veg. No bueno! Edible, but not good. Their house salsa was ok, no spice, their 2 spicy salsas not good, not spicy. Carne asada burrito was the best of the 3 items we tried ( where was that carne on our fries). Definitely people with no idea what authentic Mexican food tastes like wrote these reviews, I should have known better in Sumerlin.

Another revisit. I really want people to go to this place. They do so good on the food and service. This is a family owned and operated shop. They will only survive with community support. The family is so friendly and the food is amazing. Such as I don't like a lot of onions. They will customize your food. And it is cooked fresh. Wow I love local places like this.

Quality/Quantity - Complimentary Chips and Salsa - The chips were good. The salsa was thinner than I would have preferred. We also got salsa refills, thank you. Street Tacos - Special of the day. I ordered 4, and should have only ordered 3. Guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach. This was good, but it did not have the condiments that I am used to with street tacos. Radish, lime, etc. I put both the red and green sauce and salsa on my tacos which made them even better. Super Burrito - This was huge, my daughter was only able to finish half. Was going to order the fajita until she shared the specials. Glad I did not, because I probably would have had leftovers also. I wanted to try the Mexican pizza; next time. Atmosphere - Decent size local business. Service - Good, I believe it was the owner that helped us. She gave us everything we asked for with a smile, thank you. Price - $18 + tip. Good value. Inexpensive. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2005.

Awesome family-style restaurant with authentic Mexican food, hand crafted by Mom & Dad crew in the kitchen and their son at the register and as the friendly server. I had the special seafood enchilada with green sauce & a shredded beef enchilada with red sauce. I also tried a ground beef taco with guacamole. House made Chips with salsa are addictive! Homemade flan was a dessert delight! Will definitely return here on my next visit to Sumer land area

Wow! I'm only disappointed we didn't try this place sooner! To start the restaurant was very clean. There is pride in ownership and it shows, it's family owned and operated. Then there's the food!! It was very authentic and delicious. We had the enchilada plates and they were excellent. We also tried the fried ice cream and it's the best we have ever had. We ate it too fast to take a picture. The brothers came to check on us multiple times and were so accommodating and attentive. Excellent food, amazing service! Thank you to the Serrano Family, we highly recommend!

Most Authentic Mexican food I have found out here in Las Vegas. A little mom and pop whole in the wall restaurant that has superb customer service and delicious food. Inside holds quite a few table tops, dine in receives commentary chips and salsa. Everything we ordered was absolutely appetizing. I had the special of the day, "short ribs in red sauce topped with nopales." The sauce was subtle but a great chile flavor. I also thought the green sauce was fire! We will be back on a regular.

I have had this place a few times. Each time it's been really good. It's a small place but big in flavor. We came here for lunch the other day and it was busy. We waited to order and watched the cashier greet every single person warmly and take the time to make sure they got what they wanted. This is a place where you order at the counter and they bring it to you. What really made it above and beyond was the fact you were checked on to make sure everything was up to par and you had what you need. It wasn't you paid we brought the food and oh well they actually care. Their food is really good. It has great flavors and tastes fresh. My burrito I got was so loaded with meat that not even halfway through I was full. My husband got their carnitas burrito and added shrimp (2 dollars extra) and it was loaded. They didn't size down the meat quantity for adding the extra. It's just a really great neighborhood spot to get food and enjoy.

This place is great family owned and operated. Everybody was super nice. The place was super clean. The atmosphere was good. Cleaning a parking out front lotta space for big parties. The food tastes delicious it was exactly what I would expect to find in a mom and pop shop in Mexico you should definitely try it.

On a regular Tuesday morning, I walked in without knowing what to expect and the place was playing heartfelt Mexican music and sprinkled with old couples and friends. It appears to be a family run business and they had fantastic pleasantries where the lady asked how I'm doing which is so sweet. I asked what the daily special was and ended up ordering for my husband and myself: * wet burrito - choose carne asada style, and it could be wetter. Or maybe our California style is just different? * Daily special (Liver) - Lightly BBQ seasoned and came with rice, tortilla, & beans was good! * horchata - I lonice & sweet. Self-served. I was planning to get the Mexican pizza but since the lady mentioned the Daily Special was liver, I need more iron, I went with it and it was deelightful! Slightly flowered, not overly cooked to keep soft & tender. Serrano's is a cute little restaurant in a big plaza with Harbor Freight Tools and plenty of parking. I walked in not knowing what to expect, but it was so plain, clean, and simple.

I found me a good family owned Mexican spot. Super nice people with some good homemade Mexican food. The burrito was really tasty and filled with shrimp. The enchiladas had a good sauce and were delicious. The prices are very good for the portions. I really wanted to order the Mexican pizza but I will do it next time. The owner is super friendly he was providing service with his nephew as his parents were in the back cooking. I will definitely be back and this time I will take my wife so we could share the Mexican pizza. I also want to go back for breakfast.

A word of warning, despite offering street tacos, this isn't really "fast" food, I stood in line for nearly an hour at lunchtime on a Friday. Layout and ordering can be confusing but start by finding a tray, if they are busy, there nay not be any at the counter. As you enter, scan the menu. If you are alone, Get in the line that matches most of what you w nt. Better still if you are not alone is the divide and conquer system, each person getting in line for a meat you want. If alone, you can order mire than one, you just order that lines meat, say lengua tacos, then let them know you also want however many of whatever meat/what, say 3 adobado tacos. You do NOT pay at the counter instead weaving your way back toward the register where you pay.

Its usually still busy late into the night because of all the night owls. My husband and I only come to eat after the clubs or a night out because its a vibe. Yes lines can be long, but never too long where we ever walk out. We always get Tripa and Lengua tacos with everything on them. I don't have much experience in other taco places to compare, but I only go to places that offer more than asada. Is the place amazing good? Not sure to say but I will say if you like soft and tender lengua and crispy, semi fatty tripa then I like it best here so far. Is it overhyped? Maybe, but I think they're good.
