So I just came back from purchasing 2 wet red burritos & I showed the picture below to a man with red shirt glasses & he said that they no longer do that. I asked to speak to a manager & he said that she was not here. On the picture on yelp, it says "march 18" on the picture. It's barely been 2 weeks so ridiculous. Came here for the nachos, was not disappointed. For $6.49 + tax, you can easily feed three people with the portion they give you. Carne asada was well flavored and not overcooked, but el pastor was a little on the salty side. Salsa bar was pretty good, I loved their sauces. When you cut your teeth in the Central Alameda S/East Los Angeles part of town making Mexican food, you better deliver the goods or you're going be out of business quick; so imagine my surprise that while driving to work for the last 6 months I'd be seeing this place go up in Montclair, CA of all places. First off, the restaurant itself is really modernized, TV menus, state of the art kitchen, nice place to eat tacos and drink a beer. It was pretty cool, the staff was friendly and got our order out quickly, and we even got to see Pedro Rivera singing in the parking lot, (good opening weekend act!!!) Now, about the food, for the opening act my wife and me went w/ 4 tacos: Pollo, Carnitas, al Pastor, Carne and a burrito. The tacos were great, they serve them up w/ lots of meat and have a good salsa, cilantro/onion, lime, onion bar so you can doctor them up as you please. The burrito great, highly recommended, but the tacos are off the charts good, not to be missed. YUM! one of the best burrito in town! if not, the best one in the Inland Empire! love their home chips and salsas ~ they got plenty of meat option to choose from. I can even taste the culture and where the food comes from! it really speaks for itself. I love that they can make their burrito hella spicy if you ask for it. The corn tortillas are on the thicker side which I like cause nothing is worse than a taco dissolving in your hands before you take a bite. My husband said that the chicken tacos were VERY greasy.. He couldn't even start eating his 2nd chicken taco.. My sope was extremely unsatisfying.. There was this salsa that tastes like marinara sauce and totally jacked the flavor profile of the sope.. Speaking of salsas... I would say 3 out of the 4 salsas they have are extremely bland. Their creamy avocado salsa tasted like freaken plastic.. My mother had the deep fried tacos and she said "no Bueno"... If I could rate the staff just by themselves, I would give them 5 stars.. Very friendly and helpful. The service was also pretty fast, we got our food within 5 minutes of ordering.. Another downfall for me is that they have no diet coke... Tasty food but c'mon. NO ONE was wearing gloves. I watched the worker behind the counter grab onions & cilantro, slather it onto the tortilla, and jam that same hand into the cheese. Afterwards, grabbed everything with the same hands, from the plastic bags to the fridge handle to the COUNTER where he placed the take out food. Order through phone, and stilled waited 40 extra minutes to receive my food. I would not recommend since it took so long to receive order.

This was our spot when we first moved here but lately they've been messing up our orders. Our final straw was on Valentine's Day we made an online order a week in an advance and they didn't have our order.... we ordered something else that same day as well and made it clear we had two orders. So our online order for the day of was ready but our Valentine's day boxes weren't... they tried recharging us as if we didn't pay after going back and forth they went in the back to pull up our order should of done that a long time ago 45 mins goes by and we finally get our order but our other food is cold.. we were too upset to wait any longer, we took our food and went home. So I love this place. This is the only place that I have found that has hand made tortillas. The tacos are 1.99 but they have a good amount of meat on them. I like their salsa but I can't say I love it. The salsa I believe is what makes a taco and their salsa slacks of spicy . Their cebolla and cilantro has a bit too much cebolla can hardly get any cilantro. A must try is their orange water I absolutely love it. The place is pretty clean. Parking sucks but other than that it's a nice lil place . Also they have complimentary beens and they are pretty good , make sure to ask for a lil container. read more
