    4 asada tacos
    Keale G.

When I first moved to Upland , this was my go to place for Mexican food. I fell in love with their asada tacos instantly. Now that I'm back in town, I decided to stop buy for some great food. I ordered 8 asada tacos and a large jamaica. The tacos were just ok. Didn't seem to have much flavor. As for the jamaica, it was HORRIBLE! I had to double check my drink to make sure it was what I ordered. It taste like I was drinking syrup and ice. Their salsa bar wasn't much of a bar. They only had a red and green sauce, limes, onions and cilantro. Plenty of bags out but only 3 cups with 2 tops for salsa.

    Carne asada Nerve

Carne asada Nerve, my couldn't finish my burrito because every bite had a piece of nerve. Also it's called Catrinas Kitchen. overpriced for the quality

Let me tell you about them carne asada fries...the best you'll find around these parts!!! They have other really good food here too and I have never had anything negative to say. I've been coming here for almost 10yrs for the fries and have brought friends and turned them on to this place too. I first tried carne asada fries at Alfredo's then got introduced to this place. I've tried other places but I love this place so much they can't compare.

Overpriced, terrible I realized it's a new owner because the food taste different and small portions and I didn't see the previous owner.

The wet burrito is the absolute best. I have been going here for over 15 years. The owners are great people.

I thought that this was just a regular casual Mexican restaurant, but once we walked in, I realized…read moreit's more of a place you go to for special occasions. First of all, the decorations are amazing. The first thing that caught our eyes were the hanging lit up butterflies. They really make a statement. Next to them is a tree covered in Christmas lights, and next to that is a lit up aquarium looking thing. Even when I went to the restroom, I noticed that the cement floor had sparkly gold specks and something that looked like the Milky Way. As a vegetarian, I was so happy that the menu had leaf symbols so that I could quickly tell which items I could ask for without meat. The food came out fast. It felt like we had barely ordered them and the waitresses were suddenly coming out with them. The portions were huge, like my sister ordered the grande nachos and it really was grand. It looked like an appetizer that was meant to be shared with a group of people. The food tasted good. I enjoyed my meal so much that as big as it was, I devoured the majority of it and only stopped because I was too full. Towards the end, one of the employees asked if he could take away my plate and even though I knew he wasn't our waitress and it probably wasn't his job, I asked him for boxes instead. When our waitress came to our table to ask if I wanted boxes, the other employee at that moment handed us the boxes. I thought it was nice that the other employee did that for us even though he probably wasn't expected to. Overall, we had a great experience here.

Not sure why it can be labeled that. Whole beans, white rice, Poblano sauce are. Always best to ask! I had a wonderful server that double checked for me and made sure I knew that when I shared I can't have meat product in anything. Thank you so much!! It's a beautiful restaurant and food quality was great. But the menu truly needs to have transparency and accurate labeling.

This is a Peruvian restaurant just down the street from the Kaiser Permanente Ontario. The…read morerestaurant is smaller but can accommodate larger groups. The dining area is a very clean and comfortable. Once seated, an aji verde salsa and cancha was brought to the table. The cancha is a nice touch, the corn is crispy and light. I ordered the Pollo Saltado with an extra portion of rice and a Chicha Morada. The beverage was very refreshing. The meal came out quickly. The chicken was tender and well seasoned with soy without being too salty. There was a fair amount of onions and tomatoes which were stir-fried along with the meat. The fries were freshly made with a light crispy exterior and creamy interior to soak up the saltado sauce. The aji verde salsa was on the spicy side but tasted good as an accompaniment to the dish. There was plenty of sauce from the stir fry for the extra portion of rice I ordered. I plan on ordering the Lomo Saltado next time. The staff were polite and efficient. Plenty of parking in their lot. Definitely on the list for the next time I am in the area.

They give you corn nuts and a spicy sauce on the house. We tried the yuca fries which came with a cheese sauce and it was tasty. The ceviche had a perfect lime tang to it. I've only ever had Mexican ceviche so this one was different but delicious. There was sweet potato, red onion, corn and corn nuts. For the entrees, we tried the pesto pasta with beef. The pesto was a bit heavy but the beef was SOLID. So tender and flavorful especially if you drizzle the spicy sauce they give you at the start of the meal. The other dish we tried was the lomo saltado - beef with rice and fries. Also a very good option if you prefer rice/fries over pasta.
