The food is pretty good it could've been better because come on, how do you pack the food to go without any salsa or any napkins? Sometimes I'm like Meh about a place. Sometimes I recommend with a little enthusiasm and sometimes I'm like "Hell ya...please don't exit the earth without going here!!!" And that's exactly my feeling about Tijuana's Taco's. When I was growing up I started to notice that a lot of the time the absolute best places to go were not the big chain establishments but they were the little small cool looking one of a kind places where you saw the same mom and pop hustling their asses off trying to make a living. They truly cared about what they were feeding you and they made the food soooo damn good cause they needed you to come back and bring all your friends. And what I loved? They were humble. They would come out and talk to you and tell you stories. And you felt like part of something bigger-you felt like family. That's how Tijuana's Taco's makes me feel. Like they care. The food? Holy smokes I promise you it's too.die.for. I am transported to Mexico when I'm standing there at the makeshift taco cart and they're cutting that fresh grilled meat and loading it into the homemade delicate tortilla while putting a heaping amount of homemade oh.so.delicious. and cravable salsa. And I'm like 4 more please.... I've had just about all their tacos and I have a zero complaint about any of them. They get crafty here with their creations too. And I like it flavorful and spicy. They nailed it guys. PROMISE. and they have quite a few to pick from. Extra hot, hot, mild, green, Pico de gallo, etc. they also have the carrots and onions mix on their bar and jalapeños. Trust me there's something for everyone and you will be happy. Your tummy will be happy too! You can eat there...it's not big guys. But there's a few tables inside and out. It's clean. The cashiers are always friendly. There's a good amount of sodas and craft waters to choose from. I love Mineragua and they have a few flavors on deck. The cooks behind the counters are super friendly and if you ask them to add more onions or peppers or whatever to your tacos they have always smiled and obliged me. There's nothing I do not love about this place. Been coming for years and I have no intentions to stop ever. I've brought many friends and family here and they are now regulars also. One of my favorite small local chains! This is a tiny location with about 5 tables, but a fully stocked salsa bar with about 6 different kinds, veggies and a huge pot of beans, all free! We got several different kinds of taco and enjoyed all of them. The al pastor is amazing, spi raosted, chunky, no fat and full of flavor. My favorite part (along with the meat and salsa!) is the grilled veggies they give you, again free, with each order! So good, and takes the tacos to a whole other level!
