I was very excited to try the breakfast burrito given the reviews. I was underwhelmed. The bacon was very under cooked and it was mostly beans. HUGE SHOUTOUT! We needed to feed a bunch of our workers during a winter storm, and not many people are available at 6 am. I called Michel on extremely short notice, and they did not disappoint. We ordered 55 burritos and they were ready when we needed them, and absolutely delicious - they really saved the day for our guys working in the storm. Michel- THANK YOU so much. First time ordered 3 asada tacos and were super tasty. Second time I ordered 3 quesa birria tacos and they were better than expected. Consomme could use some salt and prefer lemon wedges instead of lime but were delicious anyways. VERY filling too. Couldn't finish them all even though I was HUNGRY. The red and green salsa are delicious as well. Sautéed onions were tasty. Won't be going anywhere else for tacos. read more

Great customer service & amazing meat (it's actually chopped up in tiny pieces, you know, as it should so you don't feel like eating a taco is the same as biting into a piece of steak & then your meat slides out with the first bite so you're left with a tortilla full of cabbage and onion...yeah.) Amazing meat QUALITY & QUANTITY! I've had trouble finding a good taco truck in the Medford area. They either have great meat, which fills the tortilla 1/3 full so really it's like 1/3 of a taco. Or it's a decent amount of meat but it's hard like tendons! BUT THIS PLACE...THIS PLACE my friends, one phenomenal taco turns into THREE! and I'm in love. I ordered my usual 6 tacos (because really all of the other taco trucks I've been to, you order 6 but it's like 3 ) guys, I finished 2 tacos and had to put it away! Lol they're LOADED tacos! I hang out with people that pretty much survive on breakfast burritos. I've tried a few places in town but I'm at the point where I pass for myself and just pick up whatever they want me to. Not worth the disappointment or stomach discomfort. Yesterday morning, my son asked me to grab something for him on my way to work. Knowing that he likes breakfast burritos, I decided to find one that would hopefully impress. I found a place! I ordered two breakfast burritos with bacon. The owner gave me a pager so I could sit in my car and wait for the food to be ready which was very nice. The tortilla, amazing. Not too much, nor too little. Not too hard. Not too soggy. Flavor was spot on. The contents. Smoky beans like I've only tasted once in my life. I'm talking my girlfriend's mom makes them in Culiacán and brings them to her. I'm not going to ramble about every single ingredient, but let's just say that it was simple and well put together and didn't start falling apart with too many unnecessary additions. Everything was blended together, yet not blended. It was the overall flavor and consistency throughout that I really appreciated. And for you people that are wondering, was there enough meat? The answer would be yes, and plenty. Not the leftover overcooked or fatty pieces that some people put in their breakfast burritos, thinking they can hide it in amongst all the other ingredients. Large pieces of meatiness! What prompted me to write this review is that my son texted me this morning 'Where did you get that burrito yesterday!?'. He knew too! It's been a long time since I've reviewed a place on Yelp. Tacos Michel brought me out of retirement. I was fortunate enough to be caught with a craving for a carne asada burrito earlier in the day. You see, I usually have these cravings around 7 pm, but Tacos Michel is usually closed by then. Not today! Today, I had a craving at 5 pm. The pandemic had left me lazy, so I ordered from the convenience of my couch on DoorDash. We got a carne asada burrito (no cabbage or beans), al pastor quesadilla, adobado taco, and cabeza taco. Y'all, ALL of it was amazing! They were loaded with meat and had just the right amount of grease, not too much and not too little. Plus, I don't typically like corn tortillas (I know, I'm in the minority), but THESE corn tortillas were awesome! Oh and I usually hate those picked carrots, not here! These were yummy and far from offensive. Just enough heat to give you a slow burn. Give them a try! I'm going to go pass out from my food coma. read more

Really rude people and terrible food...the enchiladas didnt even have sauce on them and when i called they told me because I already took my food They could do nothing for me..... So in other words you can never ever get anything fixed when you Go there because that's what you do you get food and take it home. But if there's Something wrong with it They won't help you. That being said, I've had my fair share of street style tacos and Tacos Michel's are some of the best I've ever had. had 2x Al Pastor, a Lengua, and a Carne taco and they were amazing. The Al Pastor with pineapple was moist, sweet and delicious. The Lengua was tender and juicy, Lengua done right! And the house salsa, muy bueno. Dang, high 4 star for Taco's Michel! I've passed by it hundreds of times and now I'm kicking myself for not stopping sooner! No exageration, probably one of the best taco's I've had... This includes some really great taquerias that I grew up on down in So Cal... When I walked up and saw the price for a street taco was $1.75 each, I almost just bought a burrito instead... But I really wanted taco's and said it's only money, right? (I'm not a cheapskate, but typically a street taco doesn't get that high in price... Lol) Let's just say they were packed with flavor and properly prepared with high marks for detail... The tortillas were great and they heated them up to where the edges just start to get a little crispy... The veg on top was authentic and fresh... While the meat was on point! The carne asada was/is what good carne asada should be (a lot of places have managed to goof it up to the point that it has become second rate citizen at some establishments)... The al pastor was good too, but not quite as good as the carne asada, but that's not a bad thing! The hotsauce was legit and homemade... We are driving from Redding to Portland and wanted some tacos for dinner. It wasn't too far off the freeway so we decided to go here. 4 tacos and a large Mexican come came out to be $9.50. My husband had two carne asada and i had one carne asada and one pollo. Tacos Michel is a taco truck in a very cramped lot. To get out again you can drive through the trailer park if you need to. There is one picnic table in a gazebo. The food is cheaper than other trucks in the area. I had a plate of enchildada with rice and beans. The rice and the beans were both good. The enchilada sauce was home-made, with bits of tomatos and stuff in it. There was a good quantity of tasty meat in the enchiladas. The meal was filling and inexpensive. They haven't as large a menu as some trucks, but there's a number of seafood dishes. And of course, tacos. I want to come back here soon. read more

This place is my favorite Mexican place in the valley hands down. If I'm even slightly hungry when driving by I'll always make a stop at this place. The main guy who runs it is always helpful and friendly and the food is fantastic.
