Arrived into town and was surprised to see everything closes super "early". It was 830 and they closed at 9. We asked if they were still taking walk ins and they did. The server (I can't remember his name) greeted us and was so kind. Had our drinks quickly and took our order. The food came out HOT AND SO DELICIOUS! Even my son was amazed. This place was a gem! The staff was sweet and the food was great! The decorations were really inviting and the set up of the booths were great. We just stopped over for a quick dinner while driving through the state and it satisfied our palette. If we were here again, we'd definitely recommend this place. The only dish I probably wouldn't recommend on the children's menu was the chicken burrito. It was fine, but there were peppers in it (which for some kids is fine) and my kids did not like it. We arrived in Grants Pass after a full day of driving from Seattle and I thought Mexican food would be good, especially if I could get a chile releno. The 1st place we tried had a Mexican sounding name, but was a noisy hipster place, and the menu definitely wasn't Mexican. We googled Mexican food again and found Taqueria Mexico. We shared a combo of enchilada and chile releno. My wife, who is Mexican American said the chile releno was as good as what her mother used to make. On our 2 week road trip to Seattle, this was one of the best meals we had and was also the least expensive. We will definitely stop for a meal here on trips to Seattle or Portland. read more

The atmosphere is lovely, many nice decor touches starting with the plaster walls. the wait staff gave great service, and were very gracious. the food came beautifully plated, and was all very tasty. My grilled shrimp tacos were delicious, plated on a wood platter, with guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa. My daughter's chile relleno was delicious too. We had brunch there for my78th birthday. We each found our food to be excellent. The inside has been completely remolded and I was impressed with the Senorita bathroom, upgraded from just above a gas station bathroom, to really nice. The service was excellent as well. The decor is tasteful and the customer service outstanding. Amanda was our waitress and the young man assisting with beverage service never let our water glasses go empty. We ordered fajitas, fajita burrito, beef chimichanga and a guacamole appetizer dish to accompany the chips and salsa. Churros for dessert. We came through here during Tap Walk this year and the food was delicious. We came back tonight for dinner. The employees are awesome. They immediately greeted us and sat us at our table. Cocktails were served quickly. Full bar here. The food was delicious. We learned it is under the same ownership as Si Casa Flores with the same menus BUT the atmosphere is 100% better. If you want a quiet "romantic" setting, this is the place. I had the seafood chimichanga and my wife had the crab enchiladas. Real crab! The chimichanga was so large I could not finish it.
