I ordered the carnitas plate since it had the two things I always judge a Mexican restaurant by - carnitas and refied beans. The carnitas were tender and had no extra fat on them (which can be hard to achieve!). The beans and rice were great, and the pico de gallo didn't have a ton of tomatoes, but the cilantro and onions were a hand cut and very fresh. I took it to go and it also came with a bag of chips and both kinds of salsa so I could taste them. As the owner warned me, the green salsa was quite spicy, but very tasty. For such a small restaurant, they have a nice amount of tables there if you are eating in. The red salsa had more of a tomato paste base, and it also had some chilies and onion in it. All in all a great experience and I look forward to going back and trying new dishes!
