My tacos were sad, soggy and the lettuce was like the bottom of the bag type veggies. I ordered shrimp tacos and it felt like they added two medium size shrimps to each taco and cut it up so it looked like more. My husband ordered a burrito and it was also basic and cold. To management: I recommend quality control by opting for fresh produce and adding salsas and flavors to your meals. My company provides lunch to our 30+ employees every 2 weeks. The employees are able to vote for their choice of lunch and tacos usually win once a month. I was looking for an easier ordering process than the current taco place we use and was referred to this place by a taco catering service who could not accommodate order placed within 24 hours. I called and spoke to someone who did his best to answer all of my questions but there were some he couldn't answer and would just tell me that he was just the guy who ran the liquor store and to talk to the guy who runs the kitchen, who was not there... I decided to take a chance on them. Well, I am disappointed to say that Tacos Panchito lost out on the opportunity to be the chosen taco place every month for our entire company. A.) Their website listed the taco bar specials as $169.99 for up to 30 people. I called and asked about feeding 35 and they said just order 1 more family pack and that will be enough. I did as suggested and there was nowhere near enough food. It was not even close. It really should say for 15 people. B.) The tortillas stuck together and my assistant and I had to rip each of them apart resulting in some of them having holes. Even if they were meant to stick together, that would have added to the fact that there were not enough tortillas! C.) The rice had large hard balls as if we got the burnt stuff at the bottom of the pan. We had to sift out the balls of rice and throw them away, yet again, lessening the very little amount we already had. D.) I came across this place on yelp. And thought I would give it a try. The food was cold on arrival. The beans tasted watered down, and the rice was very hard like it was old. Also be cautious of the way the menu is worded. I ordered a taco plate so I thought for almost 3 dollars. Just to find out that's the price for one taco. I was told grubhub adds a surcharge. But at 2 dollar for one street taco it's ridiculously over-priced. But I won't be ordering from here again. And if you are looking for a fix for mexican food try Castaneda. They have better food and open 24 hours also there prices make sense. Had I known I was ordering from a liquor store restaurant I would have went somewhere else. And thank you for responding I apologize if I came off harsh. Ever since my sister-in-law told me about this place - we have been ordering delivery from Tacos Panchito for the last couple months and ALMOST every single time has been amazing! We typically order the "tacos by the pound" which is an amazing deal! For about $16, you get 1 pound of whatever meat you choose, tortillas, cilantro, onions, salsa and lime! The delivery fee is a little on the hefty side, but these guys deliver in such a timely manner that it makes it so worth it. They can be a little more accommodating though when it comes to missing items -- called in one time when I ordered through DoorDash because I was missing my ceviche. I texted my DoorDash driver and he insisted that he never received it, so I called into the shop to see if it was left behind or if they could credit me. The girl that I talked to kept saying that it was all packed up together (mind you, I had a big order that had 2 orders of the "tacos by the pound", chips & guacamole and ceviche) so I wouldn't have minded if they could just refund or credit me, instead of driving all the way back. Instead this girl took down my number after leaving me on hold multiple times and never heard back from them after that phone call. Was a bit disappointed about that especially since we were having a party that day, but I just went through DoorDash to get the refund. I texted around 5pm on a Saturday and had my food delivered by about 5:45! Everything was delicious! Warm and tasty. The delivery driver was amazing too. She left the food and rang my bell. I've had a lot of gas station tacos in my life, but this is the first liquor store taqueria I've ever visited! A great little hole in the wall with cheap prices and an "A" rating from the health inspector, Tacos Panchito has all your tasty taco and nacho needs. Being in the back of a liquor/ convenience store means you can grab a little something to wash it down with too, whether you want an iced-down tall boy, ingredients for margaritas or one of the many flavors they offer of Mad Dog 20/20 and Bartles & James (I actually didn't know B&J still existed, so it was educational too - haha!)... When you go in, you order at the back, where the cooks are preparing the food. Tell them what you want and pay at the front. I'm still a little unclear what their preferred procedure is, but we waited back there for out food, and then took it to the front register to pay. It appeared others also did that, but some paid at the front while waiting and the cashier handed their food to them. Either way, the staff were super friendly and the food was mighty tasty. We tried the tacos al pastor and carne asada nachos. It wasn't my favorite al pastor I've ever had (Fuel City in Dallas, a random food truck in Ark City, KS and The Original Taco Shop tie for that spot on my tasebuds), but it's still a really good one, tender and full of flavor! The carne asada nachos were the star of this show for me on that lazy, hungry Friday night. The meat was flavorful and tender, fresh and well seasoned, and the toppings made for a perfect nacho garnish.
