Really really enjoyed this place. We love patio drinking! We sat outside, of course it was completely open. The sea breeze was blowing which kept us cool and the mosquitoes away for the most part. Our waitress was awesome. She kept the beers coming and even brought us koozies to keep them cold. We split a burger and fries and it was plenty of food for both of us. The burger had a great flavor and we demolished it. We wanted to go back, but they were closed on Monday.

HardHeads in Crystal Beach is a great place to watch the game, get some cold beverages and enjoy a good time! We came between meals so ordered some nachos and funnel cake fries which were both really good. The funnel cake fries needed a little more powdered sugar so that's just what we added. My vodka cherry limeade was quite tasty! Go check the place out!

Crystal Beach ~ Hardheads I've had the pleasure of visiting Crystal Beach due to my family owning a fabulous beach house. It's miles of beach yet ironically it's not commercialized at all. You won't find a Walgreens etc. but there's one market for all of your food needs and a few bars and restaurants. My first night there was visiting this cute establishment. I wish I could've taken more pics but when you've just jumped off a plane, taken a two hour ride to then hop on the ferry to get here, it's tough. The food was great, service was sweet. I'll have to find the rest of the food pics but suffice to say, this place is worth visiting.

I will have to come back for a second chance for this one. Based on our first experience, it's just okay, barely. Our experience was on a Friday night, and I'm guessing for this place, busy. Our server looked pretty intimidated by everything, even a simple request for lemon looked like it may be rough. I did get the lemon though, so there's that. Smoking is rampant here In crystal beach, and allowed in this entire restaurant. Gross, no second visit is going to change that. I mean, wtf? Cigarettes kill Texans too. The super nachos ( probably not correct name) were really good. I enjoyed those more than my blackened catfish. I heard the ceviche was good, but I heard that about the fries too, and that was wrong. Still, we will probably go back for another visit at some point as we really like this little area.

Perfect for a Friday night. There was not a wait - we waited almost an hour last night at a different seafood spot. The fish bites were light and crispy as was the fried shrimp. The ranch was was bigger than normal. excellent meal!

The wait staff was super friendly, and very attentive. I liked the fact that there were appetizer options that you could as a half order, as many times the appetizers are so large that once you're finished, you have no room for your meal. We decided on a half order of the hush puppies. They came out hot, crispy, and so delicious! For our meals, I got the fried shrimp, and my boyfriend got the fish and chips. Both of us enjoyed our meals, but I have to give a special shout out to my side of mac & cheese. This can be iffy at most restaurants, as you never know if it's going to be dry from being under a warming oven in the kitchen. This was probably the best side of mac & cheese I've ever gotten in any restaurant! It was moist and delicious!! The parking lot at Miller's isn't large, but we were lucky to get a spot. It is also well located on the seawall, so it is only a short walk to other shops and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday celebration at Miiller's!

After reading multiple reviews and comparing it to other local seafood restaurants in Galveston, we knew we had to go. We were seated with my Service dog, no problem. Mike immediately came and delivered water. It was hot outside. The decor is inviting and the bar area looked well stocked. We began with cocktails xtra Dirty Martini with hand stuffed blue cheese olives and for my husband a Maker's Mark bourbon . This gave us time to look over this incredible menu! Seafood is what we came for so we ordered 2 sharable items: soy, ginger octopus on crispy wonton and roasted beat walnut and fried goat cheese salad. We could have stopped there completely wowed. Both if us love Texas Redfish and it's so hard to get fresh seafood where we live so that caught our eyes. Husband ordered blackened and redfish over mushroom risotto and French style green beans. I could not resist a similar item blackened redfish over mushroom risotto and asparagus. We both were over the moon with the meaty blackened redfish FLAVORS! Risotto was perfectly cooked al dente and both veg choices were the perfect accompaniment! Honestly it had been a ling time since we had such a beautiful meal. Service was outstanding and he even picked up on a comment by my husband encouraging me to order whatever I wanted given it was a birthday dinner. So I was completely delighted when Mike showed up with the final surprise a Creamy NY style cheesecake. So I guess what I'm trying to say is this place was outstanding. You could not go wrong with a decision to have a great experience and upscale seafood meal at BLVD SEAFOOD.

It's an upscale but relaxed kind of place where casual attire is fine but the food shows up dressed for the occasion. The food was absolutely the star. Yesterday I started with the watermelon salad and my husband had the melon salad with pesto sauce. They were both so good that he ordered the melon salad again today and I ordered the mussels and fries. The mussels were tender and the sauce that comes dressed on the fries, delicious. For my entree I ordered the avocado toast both days because it was just that good. For my husband's entree he ordered the risotto and added shrimp. It was good but he could do without the tomato sauce. And his old fashioned was made just right which for us is always the tell of a serious bar. Thank you, Bartender. Today we were greeted as soon as we walked in but yesterday we stood waiting for someone to greet us. And then we were told it was going to be a 10-15 minute wait for our table.
