There's tons of different food truck option, good vibes, and lots of tasty finds. Favorites for me were the fried rice bowls from Rice Yo Way (that garlic sauce is fire - so good. Get extra!). The Filipino food bowls from MK Kitchen was really good, too... tasted just like a home cooked meal. And, the absolute standout was the juicy, flavorful steak from Arayaki Hibachi. Oh, and there were a few funnel cake trucks, so I don't remember which one I got funnel cake from, but it was absolutely delicious. Only miss of the night was Raf's Shawarma -- waited almost an hour, and the meat was dry, overcooked and disappointing. The baklava was a soggy mess. And, that sponge cake thing tasted like it was growing mold. They even forgot parts of our order. The garlic sauce and salad thing was good, but never again. We learned our lesson. The wait was so long it just ruined the whole night. So, I'm gonna say skip that one and go to El Basha instead, cuz I still love Mediterranean food. Each time I've been there, there's been a different mix of trucks. So, that adds to the excitement. Can't wait to go back and eat my way through more trucks! Mahalo nui.

Usually about 5 out of 10 vendors are Mexican food, and an occasional sushi truck or BBQ. Would be nice to have some other options come out for this area. It is small so I get it, there may not be enough room, but the crowds are pretty big and consistent for a Saturday night.

There was an ample offering of meats. I went with the Brisket (yum!). Each plate came with potato salad and baked beans. The "Pitmaster", Damien, was welcoming & got started on my order right away! (Thanks D!) In no time, I was partaking in tasty, tender brisket (yum, yum!). The sauce had a lil bit of a kick and is oh, so good! The potato salad was delicious and the beans had an extra layer of flavor - not your basic baked beans! Thanks to the "Pitmaster", I was able to sample the ribs! Let me tell you, they were TENDER & seasoned so well, they didn't need any sauce! Overall, I was super pleased with the food & service! I look forward to trying other items & definitely sampling dessert!! If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and say, "Hi!" to the Pitmaster (Damien) and get you some yummy BBQ...you won't be disappointed!

If only I didn't run out of battery power and charge the iPhone at the Apple Store in Santa Monica. What if I just walked 2% better, would I have caught the bus? What if I sent one less minute contemplating the vegan truck? Luckily the regular ribs remained, and were amazing. I'm not school in regional barbecue terminology, but this seemed like more of the direct fire kind of ribs than low-and-slow. The sauce was excellent and the salad-type side dish was better than it needed to be.
