I tried to tell them that tons of other places do deals family deals for tacos and they told me that I could take my business elsewhere. Came in for breakfast on a weekday. I ordered a potato and egg soft taco and bacon and egg soft taco. My company had traditional Mexican breakfast w eggs, beans, potatoes. I love their cold salsa that comes w the chips, so I usually ask for that. I was full, and very satisfied. I noticed they don't give out the onions and cilantro anymore unless you ask for it. We have visited and ordered from lilas on several occasions. This was our first time dining in post covid and will definitely be the last. The food is too mediocre for completely unprofessional and rude behavior from the staff. Also, if you are concerned about covid guidelines, avoid this place just on that fact alone. They wear face masks improperly and remove completely when handling food and drinks. Also over-seat and have zero control over their wait line and you will be shoulder to shoulder waiting for a table. Lots of other options. read more

Used to love this place back in the day but they've gotten way busier than they are capable of handling and food was just okay. Had a table of five and took forever to get service and then waited almost an hour and a half for food. After an hour (being patient because they were busy) they started serving food to smaller tables who had come in well after we did, we said something. The server went to check with the kitchen and came back to tell us the kitchen was just working smaller orders as they came in so they didn't get backlogged with orders, which is great for them but not for people waiting for food who just keep getting leapfrogged every time a 1-4 person order comes in. They were unapologetic and rude. It was the last time we will go there. read more

Was craving Mexican food and we seen this little spot off 35. It's a cute little hole in the wall. We ordered beef enchiladas and carne casada. Food came out really quick. When the server came out with our chips and salsa. The salsa came in a cute container so that you can pour the amount you want. Food was very good and service was super. A small cafe in Pearland with flavorful recipes with an authentic touch, Lila's carries that hometown diner feel throughout the experience, down to the slightly cheaper prices despite wonderful food. The recommendation came from locals who knew good Mexican food and I was surprised at the size of the joint, keeping it cozy. The menu is well thought out and they serve breakfast all day, which was a hit for my family. (We have it on authority that they have the best breakfast tacos in town.) We had to wait a whole to order and finally ask a waitress to help because it is more a free-for-all when it comes to who helps which table; they were friendly nonetheless and our food came out quickly after we ate a basket full of chips and well-seasoned salsa. My tacos were simple but flavorful, and the rice and smoky refried beans added an extra pop to each bite. My SO's enchilada had the best fajita beef I've had in a Mexican dish and the enchilada gravy sauce was amazing--and I don't usually care for enchilada gravy! Altogether it was tasty, well-executed, and filling, exactly what we were looking for. It's best to be prepared to wait a bit at peak times and know that you don't have one waitress; these aspects can take some time out of the trip, but he food was worth the wait. The decorations are cute as well and the servers are okay. They are not rude at least. You will be served as you should. The beans and rice are good. My girlfriend and I were recommended this spot as we moved to Pearland recently. We got in and ordered Tacos de Lilas and the Deluxe plate. The tacos de lilas came out first - tortilla were cheap, store bought and not homemade. The beans were tasteless and runny. The rice was decent, gotta give them that. The ground beef that came with the Deluxe plate was Taco Bell quality at best. The cheese on her chalupa was from a can. The "fajita" meat on my plate was old, not freshly made, and overcooked. We didn't even eat half of my plate and decided to leave before her second plate arrived. I told the owner's son (also cashier) we didn't receive our second plate and he insisted I paid for it anyway. So I did. Never going back. Terrible food! read more

Just like home nopales mixed with eggs and smashed frijoles. I love nopales! They gave me a descent amount along with chopped fried potatoes. My boyfriend & I always eat at Krave Tacos in Friendswood area but we heard many good things about Lilas so we decided to try it since it's closer. The first time was breakfast which we loved , tacos are full & tortillas are great! The last 2 times we went for dinner & we only get beef fajita tacos on flour. The 1st time, the quality of the taco sucked & had very little meat. So we decided to give them another try as we work 12 hour shifts M-F so getting a good dinner is exactly what we need after those long shifts. Tonight 11/2/2021 , we decided to get tacos & go with Lilas to see if they have learned from their reviews. Big mistake ever! This is so sad! This time I have pictures at that. We only get 5 beef fajita tacos in flour & that's it with onion & cilantro on the side. Very simple & plain. So disappointed with the quality and quantity of everything. Very poorly made. We will never be going back. Thanks for ruining our dinner. Tacos are $3.20 each, should be made BETTER. There are other places that are family/privately owned. Everything you name it & the quality and quantity is 100% better & that's why they have loyal customers who continue to come back no matter what.
