Ordered 3 barbacoa tacos 3 pastor tacos an 4 of the birria tacos that come with the dipping sauce. Total was 22 bucks they also tack on a fee for using credit cards but no worries the food was excellent I absolutely recommend the barbacoa tacos they were by far the star of the show read more

Needed a quick meal for lunch because Braum's didn't begin serving lunch until 10:30a.m. I ordered the taco dorados meal for $8.00, which was decent. The beans and rice was AWESOME!!! Light and fluffy rice and the beans were creamy and flavorful. The taco roll-up were chicken...crispy but not much flavor. I was a regular here for quite some time., but I made myself stop. I love the flavor of barbacoa so that's what I order. Unfortunately it seems every single taco I get from them has a huge chunk of fat; almost half a taco worth. I got tired of this and have been trying to find someplace equivalent since. Their Verde sauce is some of the best I've ever tasted and always asked for extra. I told them if they jarred it I would buy it. Their horchata is a bit hit and miss. You definitely want to get there early or they start watering it down. Get there before that and it's fantastic! I wish they served elote. That might have been enough to keep me coming there (if it was good), but they don't so it's a moot point. The rice is always good but the beans can be hit and miss. A few times is been runny and/or very salty. I'll try again in a few months to see if they've fixed the fat chunck issue. If not there are other options in the area read more

Have I said how much I love having food trucks in Watauga Texas? This taco gem recently made its way to my fine city, and they are throwing down some serious food that tastes just like I remember tacos in Baja tasting. Their Al Pastor is spot on, and Sopes are just like my friends used to make. Their Horchata is made fresh in house, and not from a package. Lighter on the rice side, and more on the cinnamon - A-Maz-Ing. They have several great salsa options and temps, and the staff is super friendly. barbacoa was really fatty left a thick coating in my mouth. chorizo quesadilla was not good and the whole tortilla was orange from all the grease. Red salsa was good but kind of watery. Horrible service! Asked for gorditas and got tacos. Went back up there with the tacos and the guy would not exchange them. I was even willing to pay the difference. Horrible customer service, rude, and will not be back! My mistake for the one time of not checking my order before I left. But clearly it would've never made a difference because the guy was just arguring that I asked for tacos which I didn't. I know what I said and this could've been easily resolved. Place is easy to find. Taco truck outside a Valero gas station. Good service. Received tacos in a reasonable amount of time. Asada, Al Pastor, and Carnitas were good. Seasoning and texture was good. The carnitas had a slight crunch, n i'm all about that. The lengua meat was mushy as fuck tho. Shit look like a flat tire. Tortillas were descent. One or two were colder than my heart on Valentines day. Green sauce was weaker than my knees on a cold day. The habanero sauce is good asf. I usually go here as an alternate to Taco Chon (closed on Mondays) and have had no bad experiences until today. To give you an idea of the after effects of eating here all you need to know is that I'm writing this review from my toilet seat. Not only that but Gordito Chon messed up my order (probably because I'm just a Gringo) so in effect I'd like to say they're either racist and intentionally poisoned me or their food is just bad. I really enjoyed the Menudo and the tamales that I ordered here. I would say the tamales could have a bit more meat. Although they didn't have a lot of meat like I prefer they were delicious. Alright fine!! Twist my arm I'll give this place 5 stars. I almost didn't want to eat here with the fear of being disappointed and then I would have to be the one to give it 4. Luckily I only ordered a variety of tacos. Service was great first of all so quick and nice. Make sure you specify which salsa you want. I highly recommend the spiciest one. I won't go into detail with the meats other than emphasizing that all are well seasoned perfectly cooked and full of flavor. All the tacos were small double tortillas and they were fat with meat. These are your traditional tacos nothing fancy with the toppings they just have the raw onions and cilantro. So All others I my area have just been moved down on the ladder these are the best so far in my proximity. Also I just want to put it out there in the universe.. wouldn't it be nice if we could just call them and they would just show up and whip up some tacos in my driveway and then leave?? read more

The asada tacos are delicious. The salsas are also very good. Will definitely eat again. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that each taco is $1.75. Now this isn't a horrible price, I just wish they offered a type of discount or special if you are ordering 20 or more tacos. A party option would be nice. Some of the best tacos and tortas in the area! Located on the corner of 377 and Watauga road. The food is fresh, the salsitas are full of flavor and delicious. We visited for the first time when they were open on Sundays. We were hesitant to order because Mexican food in the area misses the mark by a LOT. The owner was so confident in his tacos that he allowed us to try the carne asada before ordering. Not only did that make a huge impression on us, the flavor was DELICIOUS and it wasn't greasy. Witherspoon had a bigger than expected crowd that evening, with some live music and a couple of events (including a Match.com event - that made for some fun people watching). Apparently BMB was told earlier that day that a large crowd could materialize, so they didn't really have time to buy extra food or prep much. But they kept smiling and were nice about it, and everyone went with the flow and it was fine. By the time we finally got our food (made to order for sure - took a while), we were starving. I got the burger (the brisket on a biscuit had run out) and my wife got the special (which I'm blanking on). Both were very tasty. The burger was maybe just a *tad* overdone and the patty wasn't big, but serving it on a biscuit-style bun with some yummy sauce made for a good, hefty sammich. With a side of fries that we shared - which were excellent - it was plenty of food. Value was pretty good, too, particularly for a food truck. I don't think I'd go as far as calling it gourmet like some people have, but it was good and were satisfied. I'd totally order food from the BMB truck again. Oh, and it wasn't exactly a truck - it's actually a really nice trailer. :) (See the pic someone posted.)

Seasoned and flavorful and stuffed! The salsa is soooo good. Lots of onions and cilantro and the queso was Devine. Cheesy/buttery goodness. Another great experience!

I noted their beautiful Mexican pots with fabulous plants around the establishment. We were seated and waited on quickly....ordered margaritas, which was a little bit difficult, because I don't understand Spanish and it seemed our waitress knew little English or we just could not understand her. This was frustrating, can you imagine how long it took us to order the meal. Once done when the chicken & steak fajitas came out fresh and sizzling. Chicken was tender and seasoned perfectly where the steak was tough & bland. The wrong beans were brought, but OH Well, no big deal They have a variety of dishes to select from. (See Photos of Menu) The establishment was handicapped friendly. Was clean on the inside and out. As we ate and drank our drinks, the waitress seated, a lady and her 2 children, one being a very young behind us. Immediately the baby started crying and no break, never quit. That was it for me !!
