Best taco truck in town, bar none. Consistently awesome, and we've been eating here for over 15 years. Our perpetual favorites are the tacos de lengua ($1.50 for the tenderest tongue ever) and the carne asada tacos (seared with love and oh so tasty, plus they're still only $1.00 each!). You can customize as desired (cheese, sour cream, etc.), but we always get them loaded with cilantro & diced onion with picked, crunchy jalapenos and fresh sliced radish on the side. The fresh corn tortillas are warm, flavorful, and slightly crispy from the grill, never soggy with sauce. Be sure to order at least 2-3 tacos per person; these are the small "street" size tacos and about five of them fit on an 8-inch paper plate. The burritos are gigantic so be prepared for a full belly. Note: It may take awhile to get your order, and you'll be waiting in a parking lot on the corner of sketchy and shady, but the wait is always, always worth it. Don't get me wrong.. the food here is Amazing.. HOWEVER, I noticed that every time my boyfriend (who is white) orders the food for us, they tend to be EXTREMELY RUDE and always have him wait extra longer. The times I've Gone with him to order, the lady greets and offers extra sides or whatever, BUT whenever he goes alone (and I'm sitting in the car waiting) the workers tend to TAKE longer than usual. He was standing there waiting for over 25 min (non busy night) and customers that ordered AFTER him even got the food before him. (This isn't the first time that's happened either) Once, a customer even made a comment about him waiting extra long to the worker and the WORKER did NOT Respond to her. Hmmm??.. This place JUST might just be A LITTLE racist against whites.. all I have to say.. but again.. the food here is great. Customer Service; however, Good luck if you are not a Hispanic. and I can guarantee this will NOT be the last they treat him this way. This place has been open for God knows how long. I haven't been back to Modesto in about 10 years and all j heard about was this amazing taco truck that my father and his friends used to go to. I came to town and right away my friends took me there. The service is easy fast and the food is AMAZING! Best burritos I have ever had. The crew is always there pulling a late night (except Sundays) to fill your late night cravings. The burritos can be inconsistant at times but the tacos are always good. It was is easy to pull in & out before the construction started. The city has cut into the parking lot with curbs that make that are passively trying this business of the corner. Burritos we're alright. Had better and more authentic burritos at other taco trucks. A lot of tortilla for the burrito and the flavor and fillings were just miasing for me. Maybe we got a bad day there. All the other reviews were good thats why we tried it. I can say though that the super tacos looked good maybe should of tried those instead. read more

Thank goodness the other place my daughter and I were going to try was closed. We found this gem through yelp! It's a food truck on the side of the road. Where I am from that's not the norm. . We decided to try it because it got so many great reviews. They were right! I have been craving Mexican food and this hit the spot! I had a chicken burritto with a side of beans and rice and my daughter had the chicken quesadilla with beans and rice . We took it back to our room and ate it . Delicious! I even saved some of my burritto bc we went swimming and it was that big, and I came back and choked the rest! Definitely stop here if your not local and try it out! Best taco truck in Modesto hands down. I've been to many in the area and I'm glad I live so close to this one. You can taste the quality difference compared to other trucks. There is the perfect blend of ingredients in the burritos whereas you may get a place putting too much rice, hot sauce, etc. One big piece of advice is to order ahead on the phone ! Ordered food at 10:30pm. Super beef burrito and two chicken tacos. The tacos had moist chicken, perfect street tacos. The burrito tasted great but very heavy on the sour cream and overly wet from the beans. The meat was sparse for being a super burrito. Would recommend this location though. Perhaps ask for less rice and sour cream for the perfect portion in your burrito. Couldn't beat the prices for sure. read more

I called in my order, the lady who answered was very rude on the phone. I've been coming here for years and never have had a problem with my food, today my burrito was disgusting it had NO flavor what so ever. Super disappointed. Drove all the way from Oakdale and Floyd to get a burrito. The tortilla was crunchy and there was no salsa at all on the burrito!!! Asada tacos had no salsa either and the meat was so finely diced that it was hard to eat. I have always gone here but I feel the quality has changed. I am sure I will be going to another burrito truck. So sad read more

My buddies and I went to this place based off the reviews. Honestly, I tried the chicken tacos and they weren't even good. The chicken was bland And just had a salty flavor.
