We came for dinner on a Friday night, and it looked super busy but we were seated right away and got our food/drinks within 15 minutes of ordering. Food was good (I had the birria ramen and my boyfriend had the quesadillaway with carnitas). We tried the michelada and it was delicious! Also had flan for dessert which was great as well. They have brunch 12-3 my friend and I were literally waiting for the server while she took 15 min to close out the table next to us. It was 3:01 when she finally finished and we asked if we could get another mimosa and she was like "oh no" with a snotty attitude. We've come here a couple times now and every time the service has been great. I've been meaning to leave a review since the last time. The food taste great and the portions are sizable. I think our favorite part are the drinks though. The margs are so good! I think the thing that sets them apart is the pureed ingredients like the mango and cucumber. Highly recommend. Worst online ordering experience. I placed an order through doordash at 2pm and asked for a delivery at 7:15pm. I got a notification soon after that the restaurant has accepted the order so I thought we were all good. I get a call from the restaurant at 7:15pm saying the order would be about 30 minutes late because they were backed up. Then they call back 30 minutes later saying they decided to just cancel my order because they were "too busy". What kind of establishment does that? I'm so disappointed. The food is so delicious and the waitress was so understanding and nice about our situation. My friend and I got attacked by bugs and we got bites all over our legs. We couldn't even enjoy our food because we started feeling a burning itch sensation on our legs we had to take our food to go. I don't recommend going to this place. I like that this place is never overly packed. The food is good, I got the birria taco sampler plate and it was really good. The drinks though, are pricey, with the bare minimum of alcohol. Just because the drink looks picture worthy doesn't mean it is worth $13 and up. They had a DJ on saturday night but he was playing music to an empty restaurant. read more

Let me start off by saying the drinks were amazing... JUST KIDDING! Don't waste your time here. The worst service and I mean that in every single way possible. We were there almost an hour and our drinks hadn't been brought out nor had we been able to put in a food order not even for an appetizer because supposedly they got people in who had put in a food order. The place was empty except for 2 tables when we arrived, so how the hell can they have been that busy???!!! When we said to cancel our drinks instead they told us "oh the bartender just started making your drinks." Unfortunately, my friend didn't read the very honest reviews regarding this place when she suggested it. We all let her know for next time "read the reviews". We came for lunch. Menu was a QR code but would not load on anyones phone. Waitress implied that we were doing something wrong( and was clearly annoyed in her tone and attitude) so, she tried on my phone. Surprise... It didn't work for her either. We Love tacos and looked forward to eating here. At 2 on a Saturday there was a 20 minute wait. Lots of empty tables. The two large parties on the patio already ate. 30 minutes later...seated and given water and chips. We took our time and looked over the menu, so we ordered drinks and food when we finally got waited on. Got my food before my drink and was finished eating by the time my husband got his food. I gave this place two shots before writing a review. Bottom line: service is terrible. The first time we were there for full dinner and drinks. The restaurant was about half full. The wait for everything was ridiculously long. There was a party of 6 next to us that ordered before us and we were done eating by the time they got their food. I felt terrible for them. They were told that their order was skipped and out behind everyone else "so it wouldn't back up the kitchen" Our dinner was ok. Drinks were good. Again, took FORVER. next time it was just drinks and apps out on the patio. It was early and they were pretty empty. No one acknowledged us when we walked In. We stood there a while until I just shouted to the bartender whether we seat ourselves or not. He had literally 4 patrons at the bar. He wasn't busy. I honestly think the bartender is just incompetent and needs to be replaced. He got in the weeds on drinks with may ten total people in the whole place?? I ordered a margarita and my companion asked for beer. How hard is that? We had to ask our server on the drink status no less then 4 times. Apparently, the bar was "backed up" again, it was pretty dead and there's no reason on earth for it to take that long. This place has a great concept but their service is awful. We went in at 4pm and there was on 2 small parties. We were greeted right away so we thought, ok this will be good. Not so. We sat and waited for chips and salsa and to order. The only time we were proactively approached was after we got the check. We finally got drinks and someone came to take our order. The drink was good but the 2nd one I ordered with no Tajian(sp?) it was too spicy. 2nd drink - came with Tajian‍. Then they got the taco order wrong. Food was okay but we felt abandoned. Very disappointing and won't be back. Oh and I forgot- if you ask for more chips and salsa you may be charged. People super friendly but service lacking and food was cold. Outa our way...get to Tacos Way! First time here in 2 years and it did not disappoint. Friendly service, half price House Cocktails ‼ The beans and rice were excellent, light and fluffy flavorful rice and the beans were a nice smooth consistency with a really good flavor. (Under the old ownership the beans always had a weird aftertaste, and the rice was much yellower and undercooked) I had the 3 Tacosway combo platter and could only finish 2 of them, the Al pastor was a little over cooked, but the chorizo version was delicious! The last taco was carnitas and that will be for breakfast. The salsas were all very flavorful! Their habanero salsa was spicy and flavorful! My son had the Cali Burrito bowl and it was filling and he liked it. My wife and daughter shared the carnitas quesadilla and the asada Cali Burrito , both were large portions and well liked. I would give no starts if I could. The absolute worse service!!! Or I should say no service! Took forever to get a server to our table! Our food came out in a good amount of time but then our drinks didn't come till 20 minutes after we were done eating. Our taco way platter had a crane asada taco on it that was full of balls of fat!!! So disgusting!! Took my son to the bathroom where there was puke all over the place! We will never return here. Horrible. Waited 45 minutes to be seated . Over 20 minutes to get our drinks while waiting to be seated. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks that we ordered for dinner. The food came out 45 minutes after we ordered. Everything was Luke warm. The manager came over to see how everything was . When we told her about the Luke warm food and how long it took to get our drinks, she replied "I'm sorry " and walked away. The music was so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other at our table. There are too many other restaurants to go to and be treated like the restaurant wants you to be there. read more

I went into this restaurant for the first time today and was immediately greeted by the bartender and Maura who ended up being my server. I didn't know this restaurant offered Taco Tuesday specials before coming but Maura was quick to let me know about the $2 street tacos and $2 off draft beers along with other deals. I got the Carne Asada and Carnitas street tacos and they were phenomenal along with the service. Great clean place to eat when staying at or around Disneyland. It's tough to find a nice affordable place for the family to sit and eat a good Mexican meal in this area. Well let me tell you, this is a good place to just that. The have a full menu and bar with outside seating available. Food: the food was great and full of flavor. The presentation of the food was also a plus. The main meals were placed on the plate in a way to present it to you in contrast to just a food on a plate. Tons a flavor in Tacos prepared in signature "Tacos way", and the Fajitas and Taquitos were full of flavor. Service: Servers were very mannered and well presented. We never found ourselves waiting for someone to come over to fulfill a list of request, instead they were always readily available. During our visit we had the opportunity to meet the owner who was very appreciative of our business and was very receptive of any feedback we had. Even though we were there with our children and didn't per take of any adult beverages, we did notice that patrons around us who did enjoy an adult beverage, had very creative drink presentations. This place is also known for their Sunday bottomless mimosa for $20. All and all I would recommend this place as great place to have a great meal with the family or with a friend. read more

Went down there for lunch the other day. It's a nice spot. You can tell that it was designed for hanging out with a well laid out bar area.....just really sucks that during this "covid" period it can't really shine. So on the the most important part. FOOD! The chips and salsa were good. Salsa had a nice kick. Not hair sweating but good heat with good flavor. I had the Tacosway Taco combo w/ asada and al pastor. It was good. Good flavor. I really enjoyed it. If I had more time that day I would have ordered something else to try as well. Due to schedule I didn't take the normal "IG food pics" either. But their menu has great pictures. The staff was friendly and wearing masks. It was outdoor seating foe now. The owner came out to see how we were doing as well. Super nice guy and even gave out group shots.
