I enjoy trying new and different foods, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Let me tell you--the name is no joke! The Diablo Shrimp was incredibly spicy, truly living up to its name. This location has been on our list of places to try for quite some time. We had never managed to catch it during business hours and always ended up at nearby spots instead. Luckily, that finally changed and we caught them open! This is a true family-run business, and if you haven't tried it yet, you should. We ordered a 2-item combo with a cheese enchilada, shredded beef taco, rice, and beans, and it was amazing. We also got the chicken à la diabla, and I can honestly say I've never had an à la diabla sauce that good at a restaurant. Everything tasted homemade and so comforting that it felt like leaving a friend's house after a meal his mom made. The vibe was fun, the service was great, and we were lucky enough to have the son taking care of us, which made the experience even better. Thank you for an amazing meal and great conversation. Authentic Mexican food, lots of options and friendly staff. I had lunch here in a Saturday with my husband. It seems like this restaurant is probably a lot busier for dinner. The outside of the building is under construction (January 2026). The inside of the restaurant isn't fancy but very welcoming and lots of seating for its size. We didn't go to the back, but our waitress said there is an outdoor patio. The food was delicious and exactly what we were hoping for when searching for authentic Mexican food. Salsa was flavorful, chips fresh and crunchy, chori-queso was the MVP of our meal. We also order a build your own burrito and 2 crunchy tacos. The menu has a good amount of options and next time we will try the loaded churros! This places offers take-out and catering. The prices were very reasonable. A great experience today at this Mexican restaurant. There is a small parking lot right in front of it, and there is street parking available. Can be hectic during peak hours. Today Saturday around 2 pm, it was not busy. People were coming in and out, but didn't get crowded. Very nice atmosphere. They had a few soccer games going on their tvs, music was low and pleasant. Good customer service, our waitress was Lorena, very kind, friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was delicious. Every one of our plates was about $15 or so. Unfortunately the salsa looks and tastes like they used canned diced tomatoes then added the seeds from the jalapeños they use for their fresh pico and chopped a little cilantro and onion to garnish - would love it if they just made a fresh house salsa blending roasted onions and jalapeño into roasted tomatoes with lime juice and seasonings wouldn't be much more prep since they use fresh tomatoes for their pico any way. Rice in the burrito didn't have a lot of flavor, meat was a little chewy also without much flavor. Seems like they have great specials throughout the week. Wonderful family restaurant for delicious mexican food! Their menu is extensive but I really enjoyed the chile verde and mixto fajitas with handmade corn tortillas on the side for both entrees. The chile verde was perfectly tender and the plate even comes with beans and rice. The perfect combination to mix together with the tortillas which are $1.50 extra but have a couple in each order. The mixto was tasty too with the chicken and steak so it was another great entree to pair to try different proteins. The plate comes piping hot so you know it's fresh. We ended with an order of their churros which come 6 to an order so great option to share. May pass on it next time but it was worth trying! On a Friday night it was packed so be sure to either make a reservation early for a large group or just order to go early if you don't want to wait. They do the best they can and also bring chips & salsa + refills as you wait for your food. read more
