Stopped in for lunch. It's been a long time since I've had lunch here, but I know they have a good delicatessen and food bar. The food bar do you fill your own boxes and pay by the weight. It's a bit on the expensive side, however, you can get a great sandwich with fresh bread or a fresh pizza for a good price. What I ordered: Turkey sandwich with avocado and tomatoes The sandwich bar has pretty much every option you would want. Would like to keep mine, fairly simple with just cheese and tomatoes, but they're are onions peppers lettuce, all kinds of stuff that are included. One thing I like about this sandwich counter. Is they make it in front of you and they don't Nickel a dime you for all of the add-ons. The sandwich maker was named Victor. I think he's from Romania. And he was definitely very jovial and made a great sandwich. I will definitely have another sandwich one day

What a cool grocery store!!! This is as nice - if not NICER - than Whole Foods Market. From the extensive bakery, huge hot foods section, and an upstairs lounge with a full-service bar??? I was enchanted. The coffee shop is the first thing I spotted when I came in - seems to be regulated by a local roastery: Drink Coffee Do Something. I grabbed a chai latte (decent) and made my way to the lounge upstairs. KEEP IN KIND: Though they have free wi-fi, it's really slow and not easy to do work here.

This Raley's Organics-Nutrition-Education market in Truckee is a beautiful store. Nicely designed and full of fresh produce, unique items and healthy necessities. With a coffee place, small bar, outdoor upstairs patio, to a store full of delicious food this store rivals a Whole Foods or a Nugget. Prices are kind of high and some things deemed unhealthy are missing. All and all a super place to shop

Pretty clean, organized grocery store. We drove all the way down to order açaí bowls and have some lemon ginger shots. Very satisfied with the yummy açaí bowls. Lemon ginger shot which is called kick starter will definitely kick start your day.

The coffee bar serves drink coffee do stuff coffee. I had the mocha and it was good! They also have merch and light sandwiches on sale too!

Wow!!! I have never been to a Raleys that looks this nice LOL I used to have Raleys in my area but they've since closed. I was surprised to come across this one and see that it resembled a Whole Foods. From the types of groceries, the hot bar, the sandwich bar, the coffee shop, even the upstairs lounge and bar! It was a perfect little rest stop for my friends and I to take before heading back home from our trip to Tahoe. Additionally theres a ton of Tesla parking/chargers outside for those who are looking to chill here for a while.

I live in Kings Beach, and we have Safeway. Nothing wrong with Safeway. But... Raley's ONE is definitely a more pleasant shopping experience. This beautiful new store stocks natural, organic, and less commonly found grocery items. Think Whole Foods. Vegan, Gluten-free, Grass-fed... you get the picture. A few highlights for me are: 1. Their alcohol selection. There is no greater beer, wine or liquor selection in the North Lake Tahoe area. It is simply unrivaled. 2. Their hot/fresh foods bar. They have a salad bar and a hot foods bar, which is great for a meal on the go. Who doesn't go shopping when they're hungry? Now you have something to eat right when you unload all of your groceries at home. 3. They have a bar! I love the option of eating a little lunch in their loft bar and being able to enjoy a beer or glass of wine as well. Or maybe you just want to unwind before you go shopping... create your dinner menu while you are enjoying a little vino. I'm a big fan. 4. FREE fresh fruit for the kiddos while you shop. WHAT? Who even does that? What a cool concept. 5. Fast, friendly checkout service. Paper or plastic-- your choice. And the great part is, you don't even have to bag it yourself. Shopping relief. Raley's ONE!

A few people on the patio, but otherwise fairly slow. I was pleasantly surprised by their pastry selection. Many great choices! We settled on the Thai chicken wrap, an iced coffee, some yuzu beignets, and a yogurt parfait. The service was iffy. The people were nice, but the gentleman taking our order had to clarify my wife's drink twice, even though it was a quite simple order of iced coffee with cream. It seemed like maybe he wasn't really listening. For close to $15, I was expecting the Thai chicken wrap to be a decent portion filled with protein. I was a bit disappointed to have mostly tortilla and lettuce. The flavor was good, but not such a great portion. The beignets were great, can't be beat. Perfectly tart from the yuzu inside. The yogurt parfait was well-priced, and I felt the portion was good. Overall, a cute place to grab coffee and pastries, but I would probably avoid their lunch food in the future. We enjoyed the patio space, and I felt the vibes were good. Cheers!

First, this is a coffee and Kava lounge. I don't know much about Kava, so I can only speak to the coffee. They do also have some food, but I am not sure how that works since there was only a single employee when we visited. Maybe only certain hours? Maybe it just takes some time? Not sure, we skipped food on this visit. We ordered one of their signature matcha drinks and a cold brew. The single employee was friendly and doing the best she could, but it got quite busy and I could tell she was struggling to keep up. The prices at the register were $0.25-$0.75 higher than what was listed on the menu board. Always a bit annoying... The matcha was good, the foam texture is very cool, however the cup was more ice than beverage. The cold brew was fine, nothing special but still tasty. I liked the vibes a lot when I walked in here. It's filled with plants and natural light, but then I looked around a bit more and the space just felt messy. There was stuff everywhere, boxes laying on the ground, and generally just a lot of clutter in the space. Overall, I think there are better coffee spots in South Lake Tahoe. If you're looking for Kava, give this place a go, but for coffee I would steer you somewhere else.

It took everything I had to pass up on them- but next time, I have already decided I am getting the apple streusel. The drinks are a bit pricey here, but the portions are large. Most iced/blended drinks are around $7.50, but they are 16-oz servings. The Green Monkey (blended matcha, almond milk, and banana) was so creamy and sweet, and delicious. It would not be out of place in a three-Michelin-star dining room. He roasts every batch himself over a wood fire, feeding a beautiful old roaster with logs he chops by hand. His espresso blends are composed with a level of precision that feels almost synesthetic. Ask him what he is aiming for and he will describe the roast in shapes: how wide the base should be, whether it tapers or flares, how many sides the finished polygon has. I have stood there listening, fascinated, with no real idea what he is talking about, then tasted the cup and understood anyway. Important to know: this is not a coffee shop. There is no barista counter. It is a modest storefront and warehouse, and if you stop by you will likely see Tim at the roaster, stoking the fire. The aroma is arresting from the street. That wood fire imparts a signature note that sets his coffee apart. It does not turn smoky in the jerky sense. It reads as a gentle campfire thread running through the cup, adding warmth and dimension without heaviness. Since moving away from Reno I miss these beans enough that I cave and pay the shipping. If you order Priority Mail, the bags arrive right in the early sweet spot of their drinkability window, perfect for dialing in extraction. If you know your way around a grinder and an espresso machine, get these beans. Tim Curry is an amazing craftsman making world-class coffee, one hand-roasted batch at a time.
