I used Raleys Floral department to order flowers for my wedding in Sept 2025. Kim in the floral department helped walk me through the process and was super knowledgeable about what to expect that time of year in regard to availability, pricing and in season florals. She was a joy to work with, and you can tell she's very passionate and an absolute expert at what she does. She dealt with me and my wedding nerves and was a great guide through the process and really helped me achieve my dream florals. Additionally, the flowers were incredible fresh, vibrant and in amazing condition when they arrived. Popped in for a latte at the coffee bar. I enjoy the roast they serve from Drink Coffee Do Stuff. Every drink is made well and the staff is friendly. This Raley's is convenient to stop in on the way to Northstar or Tahoe. I will stop in sometimes on my to a job in the nearby community. Since it is a grocery store, deli, and bakery there is something for everyone here. There is alway music playing to keep the happy vibes going. read more

This store sucks! They don't carry a lot of products that are staples for our family - examples of items they don't carry: instant mac and cheese, soda, premade burger patties...I could go on, but this place is a total waste of time. I much prefer the Safeway in town. read more

Stopped in for lunch. It's been a long time since I've had lunch here, but I know they have a good delicatessen and food bar. The food bar do you fill your own boxes and pay by the weight. It's a bit on the expensive side, however, you can get a great sandwich with fresh bread or a fresh pizza for a good price. What I ordered: Turkey sandwich with avocado and tomatoes The sandwich bar has pretty much every option you would want. Would like to keep mine, fairly simple with just cheese and tomatoes, but they're are onions peppers lettuce, all kinds of stuff that are included. One thing I like about this sandwich counter. Is they make it in front of you and they don't Nickel a dime you for all of the add-ons. The sandwich maker was named Victor. I think he's from Romania. This is not a friendly store. I inquired about where the Cokes are and got scolded by a helper there saying, " We are like Whole Foods and don't carry it". I'm not sure they have ever been in Whole Foos because No it's not. Then on the way out the door w my Bagel and no coke , the Manager got in my grill and said I can get one by ACE and was angrily pointing at me and yelling Shop at a real grocery store, not one pretending. read more

What a cool grocery store!!! This is as nice - if not NICER - than Whole Foods Market. From the extensive bakery, huge hot foods section, and an upstairs lounge with a full-service bar??? I was enchanted. The coffee shop is the first thing I spotted when I came in - seems to be regulated by a local roastery: Drink Coffee Do Something. I grabbed a chai latte (decent) and made my way to the lounge upstairs. KEEP IN KIND: Though they have free wi-fi, it's really slow and not easy to do work here. read more

We stopped by this Raleys just to get a couple of items and was very surprised when we went it. This is a very fancy Raleys! It was very nice, just didn't have the items that I would find at a normal Raleys. They do have a big selection of foods that I would not encounter at a lot of other places. read more

This Raley's Organics-Nutrition-Education market in Truckee is a beautiful store. Nicely designed and full of fresh produce, unique items and healthy necessities. With a coffee place, small bar, outdoor upstairs patio, to a store full of delicious food this store rivals a Whole Foods or a Nugget. Pretty clean, organized grocery store. We drove all the way down to order açaí bowls and have some lemon ginger shots. Very satisfied with the yummy açaí bowls. Lemon ginger shot which is called kick starter will definitely kick start your day. read more

Selection is odd and inadequate. For example, they carry aerosol whipped cream but not cartons of whipping/heavy cream. They weren't out: no empty space for basic cream. Aerosol whipped topping isn't exactly "organic". Conversely, they carry whole wheat tortillas, but not white flour tortillas. The produce is subpar and beat up. And the store has a pervasive dirty restroom odor. First visit, last visit. read more

After a few bad experiences with grocery stores in the Tahoe area many years ago (limited selection, no inventory, sad-looking produce), I generally bring my own groceries to the area. But this Raley's breaks all stereotypes. During midwinter break, I stopped in to pick up a few groceries and was pleasantly surprised by the grocery store. There was a good selection of produce, meats and baked goods, and it definitely has anything I would need. The store is also bright and clean, and the parking lot has lots of spaces. read more

Wow!!! I have never been to a Raleys that looks this nice LOL I used to have Raleys in my area but they've since closed. I was surprised to come across this one and see that it resembled a Whole Foods. From the types of groceries, the hot bar, the sandwich bar, the coffee shop, even the upstairs lounge and bar! It was a perfect little rest stop for my friends and I to take before heading back home from our trip to Tahoe. Additionally theres a ton of Tesla parking/chargers outside for those who are looking to chill here for a while. read more

I am ONLy reviewing the holiday turkey breast meal we ordered! the Deli person asked me what time I could pick up my meals. I said 3p on Christmas Eve and he said turkey breast would be cooked fresh before I picked it up. I picked it up on the day & time agreed upon. What we got was: DRY turkey breast that I was told was cooked earlier that morning then refrigerated until I picked it up ! The 2 sides we chose was nothing to talk about. The mashed potatoes was so-so. The stuffing didn't even look like stuffing! They charge $29.99 per meal and we ordered 3 meals!!!! What a waste!! Will NEVER order these again!!! read more

I live in Kings Beach, and we have Safeway. Nothing wrong with Safeway. But... Raley's ONE is definitely a more pleasant shopping experience. This beautiful new store stocks natural, organic, and less commonly found grocery items. Think Whole Foods. Vegan, Gluten-free, Grass-fed... you get the picture. A few highlights for me are: 1. Their alcohol selection. There is no greater beer, wine or liquor selection in the North Lake Tahoe area. It is simply unrivaled. 2. Their hot/fresh foods bar. They have a salad bar and a hot foods bar, which is great for a meal on the go. Who doesn't go shopping when they're hungry? Now you have something to eat right when you unload all of your groceries at home. 3. They have a bar! I love the option of eating a little lunch in their loft bar and being able to enjoy a beer or glass of wine as well. Or maybe you just want to unwind before you go shopping... create your dinner menu while you are enjoying a little vino. I'm a big fan. 4. FREE fresh fruit for the kiddos while you shop. WHAT? Who even does that? What a cool concept. 5. Fast, friendly checkout service. Paper or plastic-- your choice. And the great part is, you don't even have to bag it yourself. Shopping relief. You a special store, Raley's. Stylish, bright, clean, a wonderful selection of goods. Yes, it's pricey, but the items on sale are great deals! They have an incredible selection of beer and wine. Their deli looks so clean and fresh. Along with what looks to be an incredible meat and seafood counter. They have a ton of organic/smaller labeled goods along with mainstream labels. The meat counter is a joke. We ordered a 10lb prime ribeye roast a week before the holiday. They delivered a 15lb choice on 12/23 that looks like select. When we asked for our prime order, they commented it was all they had. What's the point of a pre-order if they can't get it? Better to drive to Whole Foods for good quality. read more

I absolutely love this store. It's comparable to Whole Foods, but somehow better. If I'm in Downieville for a good period of time and need to replenish groceries, the closest grocery store is in Nevada City - a one hour drive. And the options aren't great. So I suck it up and drive the 1 hr 20 min and bundle a trip to Raley's ONE with a trip to the Truckee Farmer's Market or lunch at Morgan's Lobster Shack or perusing the aisles at the new location of Mountain Hardware (which is right next door). They have an excellent selection of fruits and veggies (it's not Berkeley Bowl, but it's better than Whole Foods). It's a huge store...but not so much so as to be overwhelming. Employees are friendly and covid practices are good. Once they're able to open the upstairs again for beer and wine and food, it will be great. If I lived in Truckee, I'd be here every week! read more

Bottom line: it's your typical grocery store but it has a bit more of an upscale feel to it. Think Safeway and a Whole Foods mashed together. It is probably the nearest retail grocery store you will find in the Tahoe Airport/Northstar area so I recommend you stop by here for any of your grocery needs before you go up the mountain. (It's also not a bad drive back down). Inside the store- you'll find a sleek and very clean store with all of your essentials. You can even find very high end liquor, champagnes, and imported wine for you to purchase. They didn't seemed to have much off-brand or "value-brand" items so be prepared to pay a bit more for similar items if you are an off-brand shopper. There are fresh vegetables, meats, milk, and bread for those looking for essential perishables. They also have some very good vegan and health-conscious items for those that have specific dietary needs. The customer service was hit or miss but overall: good. It's definitely a place I'd come back for the convenience of its location and the options it had to purchase. PROTIP: register as a store member online (free) prior to checkout in order to get better store deals. Or you may pay "non-member" prices. read more

Raley's has done better. The store is always great. It's clean, it's well stocked with the things we want to buy. The deli/pizza counter is great and the quality of meat and fish is better than anywhere in Truckee. My last review dinged them for selling junk merchandise and blocking the few bike racks with said merchandise. I have noticed that since that time, they have done a much better job of keeping the bike racks accessible. Even better, this Raley is not selling plastic sleds or saucers this year. They are only offering steel saucers and flexible flyer type sleds. That is an awesome move toward keeping plastic litter off of local sled hills. Raleys did do better. read more

Probably one of the best grocery stores around. An amazing local coffee bar, delicious hot and cold bar, super clean and easy parking. They even had soap samples and free fruit for kids. I loved that idea and we got a juicy cutie for my son one day and a banana the next. Yes, we ended up here twice in two days, but not on purpose. Haha. We were having an early dinner in the same plaza and when I realized I was still hungry, I asked to come here for the hot bar rather than order more food at the restaurant. No regrets. read more

I shopped at the Truckee store #125 and noticed that the meat I purchased had a price sticker over a price sticker. Each time I paid more than the original sticker. I showed the manager pictures of the price stickers that were covered up with another sticker charging more. Along with my original receipt. He called the meat manager over and the meat manager said, "I will talk to my guys and it will not happen again". read more

Wow! This is the first Raley's location where I saw a bar inside. This store takes Raley's to a whole new level. I think this location is absolutely perfect as many travelers passing through need this store here. One of my favorite parts of this whole shopping experience was exploring everything they had to offer such as a deli where they make your sandwiches, a coffee and juice bar, fresh sushi available to purchase, the bath and beauty bar with many items for sale and the merchandise was really cool. I ended up purchasing a few bandanas with unique designs and for a great price: $2.00! If you are in the Truckee area, check out this cool Raley's. There's plenty of parking out front. They try to be an upscale market but really miss the mark. It took us literally over 15 minutes to check out and there was only one person ahead of us who was not the problem. The cashier did not seem to have any idea what to do. It took 3 other employees to figure out how to check out someone with food stamps. We had some salmon nigiri and it was not good. You could tell the fish was old and not high quality. Might as well just go to Safeway or Grocery Outlet. read more
