Beautiful light display, holiday tunes, and merchants selling wares for last minute shopping. Nice to have another Winter Season event option here in our Biggest Little City. Patrick is, without question, the best Casino Host and Player Development Manager we have ever worked with. He consistently goes above and beyond to make us feel valued, appreciated, and genuinely welcomed. Every interaction with him is professional, warm, and personal. Whenever we email to request a reservation, Patrick responds immediately and always asks if there is anything else he can do to make our trip special. His attention to detail, responsiveness, and commitment to guest service are truly exceptional. He has a remarkable ability to make every guest feel like a VIP. Bally's Lake Tahoe is our favorite casino destination, and Patrick is a huge reason why. He is the kind of employee who creates loyal customers and lasting relationships. An aging hotel that has been left to slowly fall apart…read more It's actually very sad to witness. In this massive property with over 400 rooms, you'll find outdated spaces, worn furniture, dark and dingy hallways, dirty windows, hard old towels, thin bedding, lumpy pillows, and beds on the firm side. Even the plants outside have stopped being watered and left to die. Ice machines are broken on multiple floors, so you end up wandering around to other floors in the hopes of one working. The indoor pool has a bit of a Hefner grotto vibe but is constantly packed with screaming kids. It's as if someone told management just to keep the lights on because nothing else matters. Prices swing wildly: sometimes just over $100, but on busy weekends they shoot past $600. Then they tack on a $27 nightly resort fee and another $20 for self parking. Truly delusional fees for what you get. I've stayed here several times only because the rooms are comped. I would never pay to sleep here. There are plenty of wonderful hotels, and even motels, in the area that don't charge bogus resort & parking fees. The online room photos are heavily filtered and don't match reality once you check in. A few positives: the rooms are spacious at over 400 sq ft, and some have minor upgrades like newer bathrooms. There's a Starbucks near the gaming floor, a spa and a few restaurants. I haven't tried them so no opinions there. Overall, this place desperately needs a facelift and real upgrades. Until then, the resort and parking fees should be eliminated. Bally's owners should know better.

The program felt very unorganized, and the coaches (mostly teenagers) did very little to engage or motivate the kids. On three separate occasions, we showed up for soccer only to find out upon arrival that there was no class because the space had been rented out for a private event or the practice had been moved to another location. There was absolutely no communication about these changes. For the price they charge, we expected a much more professional and reliable program. Overall, it was frustrating, overpriced, and not something we would recommend.

It gives both the kids and the adults to come together for the adults to hang out and the kids to get their energy out. When the kids had a later morning class it was nice because the lunch items would be offered so we would have lunch right after soccer. However the past few seasons it's been earlier and earlier. We still make it a habit to hang out afterwards for all parties. They serve alcohol at all times while they are open where my husband and our friend bought a glass of beer to drink during one of the classes for those rough mornings! The sportsdome is a nice alternative for sports from being outside offering a big field, practice field (both turf), basketball courts which can also serve as volleyball courts or even for use for soccer sprouts a time or 2. Sometimes the facility can be very busy as there can be different sports simultaneously happening at the same time in all areas, so parking may be limited, but the parking lot is large you should not have much trouble finding parking. Ladies Bathrooms are also clean. They offer ladies and men as well as family bathrooms located across from the basketball courts. I always see them being clean. All in all, the facility is pretty tidy and offer many trash cans so you can throw away your trash without having to walk far away.

We arrived early for the 4-5pm public skate and spent half of it in line for skate rentals. Multiple staff, one register, glacial pace. Same line for walk-ups and online reservations, making planning ahead feel symbolic. They take your shoes, the skate hour ends at 5:00pm on the dot, and we left at 4:55 to avoid yet another slow line just to get them back. If you like skating, waiting, and mild confusion, this might be your place.

T S L is among the very best retailers and staff I have encountered in a lifetime. That is @ 50 years of action sports immersion, on both sides of the counter. T S L has it all, all the gear, all seasons knowledgeable, ski shop tunes and repairs, and demonstrates passion and care about it all, especially dialed into consistent and engaging Customer Service. That's a WOW... and why I actually look forward, rather make a point to patronize the store when I visit South Lake Tahoe. I can navigate and find, or be guided to what I need, whether new or a repair/parts. TSL practices what the best in the indistry may have forgotten. Looking forward to a next visit. Such a pleasant surprise to find this gem inside Harveys resort. Jerry, who I think is the owner,…read morewas one of the most helpful people I'd ever encountered in Lake Tahoe. First, his ski/snowboard rentals are waaay better priced than the other stores near the Heavenly arcade, and because you can walk the underground tunnel to the other side, it's an easy trek. to the gondolas once you have your equipment. Plus, you can come in after 2pm, the day before you actually go skiing, and rent and do all the admin ahead of time, so you can save a ton of time to ski the following day. I absolutely loved this! Second, he was incredibly informative about the various slope options throughout the city. He did say that Heavenly is a must-try for all newcomers, because that's the thing to do in South Lake Tahoe, but he did point out the many other places to go for a much better value that the premium charged at Heavenly. Third, his ski apparel and accessories, while limited, are of fantastic quality, and offer both high-end and value items. I picked up a Spyder layer, while the family picked up extra gloves. We will definitely be back for future rentals!
