I tried the sweet potato zang zang special bubble tea. I thought it was really good. There are lots of drinks on the menu and most of them can be made with non-dairy milk and with the sweetness and ice levels adjusted. I had no choice but to visit them during BU move-in weekend which was the only weekend I was in Vestal and it was, as I expected, very busy. I don't usually like to order online but I did this time to save some time and that was definitely a smart move because the line was very long. I was frustrated though because I saw what I was pretty sure was my drink get prepared and set on the counter and then sit there for like 5 minutes because there was no one attending to the online order drinks. When someone made a drink for a customer that had ordered in person they would hand that drink to the customer and then immediately run back to making the next order so I couldn't ask anyone because they were always busy. I mean, it's fair that they were working hard to keep up with orders but I just wanted someone to take 5 seconds to hand me my drink.

Walking in it was fairly dimly lit and silent as I was to be the only diner. The staff was very friendly and got me seated with a menu at the sushi bar immediately. The menu was fairly baseline with a few signature specialty dishes but all consisting of the same ingredients. I order a Hot tea, the Sashimi lunch special which came with a Miso Soup & side of Rice as well as the Treasure Island appetizer to sample some of their more unique dishes. The Miso Soup was both warm and flavorful. The Treasure Island app was an interesting blend of sweet savory and fat flavors with fresh Mango, Avocado, Tobiko, Ponzu and diced fish's but it was unfortunately all just overtaken by the heavy Mayo and tempura flakes. The Sashimi lunch was presented fairly but the quality of the fish was sub par to say. All of the previous frozen variety and using Izumidai "tilapia" in place of Red Snapper. Overall it certainly was not the greatest Sushi dining experience for me personally and I would pass on the next opportunity to visit. That being said there seems to be very limited Sushi dining opinion this area and it was fairly reasonably priced 2 course lunch. 3.9/10 Very friendly staff, lower quality ingredients.

Make sure to get there early to stock up on fresh baked goods-- they are too many options and it's all hard to pick from--so to help you out just buy one of each... you can't go wrong with the mochi pudding bun. Delicious! It has the chewy texture you love with the warm comfort of a bun coating. Prices are reasonable, produce is fresh. Aisles were clean and everyone working was nice. I was particularly excited to see they had various citrus plants for sale that were already fruiting! I didn't grab one this time but I do already regret it. It's hard to find mature plants like that. Parking was easy, there were plenty of spaces available. Accessible to those who need it as well.
