This place is set up like a typical bubble tea hangout spot you'd find in bigger cities. I was surprised to find something like this here. There is a big selection of board games and booths to hang out with friends. The taste of the bubble tea was also surprising to me-- it tasted pretty high end like the trendy places in bigger cities. Went in on a week day afternoon in search of good bubble tea. I got the taro milk tea with less sugar. And less ice. The tea was tasty but even with less sugar, it was still a bit sweet for me. But I did like the taste and texture of the tea. Yummy! I will be back to try other flavors. read more

I have eaten at this restaurant, picked up takeout, and ordered through door dash. The food has been excellent every time. My go to order is a peach iced tea with regular sugar and less ice, with strawberry boba and major jelly. It is tasty and refreshing and is a cool twist to iced tea with the mango and boba. I also order a white rice bowl with tuna and spicy salmon, carrots, cucumbers, and avocados with eel sauce, spicy mayo, and mayo sauce. There is a decent sized serving and you can choose as many toppings as you want. It is fun because get to customize you own sushi and drinks, and there is a lot of options to choose from. I definitely recommend to all of my sushi and bubble tea lovers! The two make a great combo! read more

Not the best bubble tea in the area, but it's decent. My smoothie ended up being really grainy (seriously, skip it), but their Thai iced tea was good. Their pre-Covid set up was definitely cute the few times I've been there. Overall, this is one of those places that I wouldn't go out of my way for, but it's not bad. read more

Such a cute place to go out to eat! Too bad corona closed up the place, but at least they do takeout! Their food is really good and it's cool how you can build your own sushi burrito! I'm not really a fan of boba tea in general but all my friends say this place has the best! read more

Little hidden treasure. Great choices of food at a great price. I went here 2 days in a row. First day I got the burrito which was fantastic..there were so many options to put in the burrito that didn't seem right to put in a burrito so I went back for the salad bowl..I would recommend that option over the burrito even thought the burrito was great! Looking forward to returning to tai chi and actually trying the delicious sushi burrito that i see! For now, this review is solely based on bubble tea which I love. The decor and atmosphere is not only adorable but very inviting and perfect for a lunch date or small meeting. I'm not new to the bubble tea scene, but I know many that enjoyed all of their flavors and customized bubble teas. I opted for a favorite- the tai green milk bubble tea- which did not disappoint. What a great little gem to stumble upon. This place it very unassuming from the outside, but inside is full of fun decor, and a great atmosphere. There's plenty of tables and booths to come and hang out with friends, or just pop in and enjoy a quick tea or drink. They have tons of games, and journals lying around to doodle around or write in too. I have to admit, the drink menu is a bit daunting and confusing at first, but the girl behind the counter was super nice and answered any questions that we had. There as so many drink options, that they seem virtually endless. However, no matter what you get here it is sure to be delicious. I can't wait to come back here sometime and try their food. I'm sure with how good everything else is, the food is sure to be a hit too. read more

Finally made it to the new Tai Chi Bubble Tea in Tonawanda last weekend and it definitely lived up to the hype. The place itself is awesome inside and even offers board games to play and pads to draw/write in to leave stuff for future patrons. The bubble tea menu is huge and even supplied me with the chocolate one I was searching for! What's cool about this place is you can build you're own bowl or a burrito and customize every single aspect of it. I had a chicken bowl with vegetables, fried noodles, spicy sauce (I'm terrible at remember sauces), and of course some fried onions on top. My only complain with this place was that nobody informed us that after we filled out our orders that we had to hand them to different people. So basically we sat at a table for 45 minutes before asking and then turning the cards on, either way, the food came out super fast after that and tasted absolutely amazing. Honestly, I've been here multiple times; had it delivered through DoorDash multiple of times and every single time it's different. The place is inconsistent with their services and drinks(but it's usually because of the person who makes it). Sometimes you get a pleasant staff, sometimes you get staffs who could careless. If you want anything from this place you have to go to the actual place yourself, because the employees always seem to forget one or two items when you get it delivered. It seems minor....but....every single time?? Those times add up. I shouldn't be this annoyed over mediocre food...but forgetting my sauce to my Taichi Rice Bowl was the last straw. read more

A new bubble tea place?! Had to check ot out with my yelp partner in crime David C.!! It was their grand opening and we got 20% off our order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have free wifi which is always a plus. Th decor is adorable. Couches to relax on or booths if you are dining. They offer a varied flavors of teas and smoothies with or without the tapioca pearls(bubbles.) I got the mango tea with milk and bubbles. It was deliciously refreshing. David got lychee tea with strawberry milk and lychee bubbles. He enjoyed his beverage but commented that the pearls should have been colder. We didnt eat but looked at the menu. They offer burritos, rice bowls and salad bowls with your choice of ingredients. Plenty of options for vegans and vegetarians. This is a new gem place in Buffalo for all you bubble tea lovers! They have also added a little twist in terms of what they serve just to get your palette moving - SUSHI BURRITOS AND SUSHI BOWLS! For the drinks, there is a wide variety from milk teas to fruity drinks as well as smoothies. One thing about the milk drinks is that they don't use milk- they actually use a creamer! So watch out for the people who are lactose- this may be a plus or minus for you! I personally love the fruity side- my go to is the passion fruit or mango! I have heard great things about the green apple as well! As for the sushi, I normally get a sushi bowl! They charge based on purely how many proteins you would like to add into the bowl- 1,2, or 3! After that, you can go wild with whatever you want to add! There is a piece of paper that you grab and check off what you would like! Think of it as a very similar work flow as chipotle but Asian style! The proteins are fresh and compliments really well with the variety of toppings that you can get! I normally go with the spicy salmon and shrimp with some brown rice! You can request some rice seasoning if you like your rice with an extra kick! And another tip for those bubble tea lovers out there, there is a rewards program that you can join as long as you ask! If you spend about $300 dollars, you get 5% off for life. Sushi bowl and bubble tea? Yes please! They just opened and I've already been here several times because I'm in love with the sushi bowls and pudding bubble tea. The sushi burritos/bowls are priced based on number of proteins you pick, everything else is free for all - you can pick as many or as little as you want. I absolutely love this because many places limit the amount of extra things you can get. The sushi bowls are also very healthy and substantial - I get my veggie portion for the day and feel like I've had a filling meal. I highly highly recommend trying out their sushi burrito/bowl/salad, it's so worth it!! They also have a great variety of bubble tea flavors to pick from. I haven't tried them all but I personally like the rose tea - there are actual rose petals in the bubble tea!! (Warning if you don't like a slight bitter taste you might not like the flower flavors) The decor is very pleasing. There are booths and couch areas and they have little journals at every table for customers to doodle in. I also saw a table playing monopoly - I'm guessing they also provide board games! The staff is very friendly and patient. They have not messed up a single order for me so far and are quick to get the bubble teas and sushi bowls out. These are probably their busiest weeks and they are still able to provide fast and accurate service. I'm genuinely impressed. Needless to say, I'll be coming here a LOT. read more

This is the PLACE to go if you want bubble tea! I love coming here with my daughter before or after a movie as well as when it's nice out. The smoothies are ALWAYS delicious and I enjoy the bursting bubbles. The staff is always friendly and I never feel rushed as it takes me a minute to figure out what combinations I want. The place is always hopping with people and even though there may be a line near the door they move fast. It is worth the wait! My only knock is that upon entering there is an odor that reminds me of puke but you quickly get over it! read more

Bubble tea here is great tons of choices and you even get to select the level of sugar and ice which is great because most of the teas are sweet enough on there own. The poke bowls are amazing so many flavor combinations and toppings they are fantastic I've been wanting to try a burrito but when the bowls are so good I can't make the switch. read more

Tai Chi Bubble Tea is amazing!! The first time I came here I accidentally ordered a bubble tea that had beans in it instead of the tapioca pearls. Today I got it right and ordered an almond bubble tea. Whoa this tea is fantastic! The almond flavor is out of this world and the tapioca balls are great! The sushi burritos are also amazing! I've been dying to try one ever since NYC sushi burrito videos started circulating online and this place does the job! It's build your own burrito, but they also offer build your own salads and sushi bowls as well. It's kind of like an Asian chipotle. The atmosphere is very modern and inviting. There are a ton of young people here meeting up with friends. This place is poppin'! Definitely a great place for a date, to meet up with friends, or to grab a quick bite to eat by yourself. read more

I went to this establishment near the end of January with a friend for some bubble tea and to catch up. Hours later, after thoroughly enjoying our boba, we decided to order sushi burritos! The decor of this place is both casual, intimate, and welcoming. There are large booths that have dividers going well up to the ceiling along the wall which allow for either a great study nook (the WiFi password is printed on a card in each booth) or for a date night/friendly meeting. There are nice options for the bubble tea, and they allow you to adjust your sugar level! The sushi burritos and other food to nosh on are make your own, with a checklist style format. There are locations in Rochester if you're in that area and want to try it there too. read more

Both were very good, but the only thing was my bowl was missing the eel sauce and spicy mayo I asked for and I paid extra for those. Yay finally a poke bowl place in buffalo!! This place is great. Very collegy feeing. Has a bunch of booths, some sofas and some high top tables. The bowls themselves come in 3 options; 1 protein, 2 or 3 with price points at $8.99, $9.99 and $11.99. The options don't really seem based on size just the amount of proteins. As for the additions there are plennnnty and there seems to be no limit on how many you can add on. Which I absolutely loved! Me and the hubby each got a 2 protein one and then customized our topping according to taste. I will point out neither he nor I could finish the bowl (he came closer but I don't even think I got thru half it's so big!) They also have a huge drinks menu with bubble teas or smoothies. We didn't indulge this time but I can't wait to go back and try one. I will say the counter made the ordering a little Confusing as they have the menus you grab and check off at one end but you place you order at the register at the other end which def confused us. But this is def a place that worth checking out :) read more

I came in with a friend to pick up lunch and some bubble tea. Upon first impression, the decor is very modern and everything is fresh and clean. There is a stack of "order forms" where you decide if you want a sushi-rito (burrito but with sushi fillings) or a sushi bowl (a poke bowl). You can then order drinks and hand in your order form. Our food was prepared within 10 minutes and we proceeded to eat. The food was very fresh and tasted clean. Even though we all stuffed, we didn't feel bloated of weighed down after our meal. We ordered our bubble tea to have 1/2 as much sugar and it was the perfect amount of sweetness for each of us. Definitely will be coming back. I'm excited that they have multiple locations as well! read more

Finally! A fresh and delightful place to eat lunch in Tonawanda! I am thrilled that this place is nearby my work. The ingredients are fresh and there is a lot to choose from! It's build your own bowl style sushi bowls and wraps! Very unique and creative cuisine with bubble tea galore! They also have mochi and macaroons, and a very adorable and modern ambiance. For $15 i got a huge sushi bowl filled with shrimp, lettuce, cabbage, seaweed salad, avocado and more AND a vanilla almond bubble tea. The spicy thai dressing is delicious. I will be back! read more

Went here for the first time today and I was very impressed! I ordered the sushi burrito which you get to mix and match with your own ingredients and it came out delicious. They also have tons of board games, journals that you can doodle or write in, and free WiFi which really made the whole experience. The only downside is that it was a little pricy (It was $15 for a burrito and drink), but you're definitely paying for quality. read more

I love the atmosphere of this place. The booths are made of beautiful wood that give a sense of privacy and make it the perfect place to sit and talk over s great cup of bubble tea. There are so many options of tea! It you feel lost everyone there is very helpful at explaining the menu and helping you out. It's a lot to pick from, but they have an incredible variety. I have gotten something different every time and I have loved each drink! Their salads turn out great, the food menu is easy to order from (and that has a great variety too!). Update: Today's visit was.... Okay. I've been here a few times and they've all been great. But today's visit was not up to par. One, they ran out of boba. It's a boba tea place! You know what? Its okay. Things happen, I understand. I continue ordering my drinks. I also ended up ordering a rice bowl, which was delicious but was missing the mushrooms and edamame that I wanted to add. The guy making my food was awfully nice though, so I let it go. ALL of their trash cans were full to the brim, to the point where trash was sticking out of them. I really do enjoy their bubble tea, and the food is really good. Places like these have bad days and I would still recommend that you come try it out. read more

It's just not even a normal size large cup for pop. Anyways, the smoothie was very good. So far now I've had two from them and I've enjoyed them both. I prefer the location on Delaware by Linden.

Their smoothies are made with fresh ingredients and are never too sugary like other smoothie competitors. Jamba juice also has extra ingredients that you can add to any smoothie order like kale or chia seeds. Another great thing about Jamba Juice that many people do not know about is their secret menu. Their secret menu can be found online and includes things that you can order there that are not necessarily displayed on the menu at the location. A major drawback about Jamba Juice is the time that it requires. There is always a long line to get to the register, and once you place your order, you have to wait for your smoothie to be prepared by one of the understaffed workers. If you have the time, Jamba Juice is a great option.

What really sets Red Otter apart, though, is its heart and community building. I love that they donate a portion of their sales to a worthy organization each month showing that they're clearly community oriented and that they even host a book club. And of course the otter mascot and branding makes my heart melt! So cute! So, all in all, I must award a very worthy five stars without hesitation. These are not featherweight, boring, drive thru chain donuts that never fail to disappoint. The box says they are "made with love" and while I certainly hope the bakers and makers are not oozing affection for the creations as they do their job (because that would get weird right?), the recipes and standards of ultra high quality that this unique WNY establishment has sure shows a respect and appreciation for their customers. The dough is light and never greasy tasting. The cream fillings are also fluffy and airy and melt in your mouth. Jellies are all top notch and let me be clear, the donuts are packed full with whatever is inside. Or on top. The headlights are incredible. Peanut butter offerings (several to choose from) are stellar. I'm not sure if the chocolate icing is a ganache but it seems much more like a ganache than the lousy, dried out icing you might find at places we need not mention. Staff are always courteous, polite and fast. I think each donut is going for about $2.30 but well worth it for the size and quality. A box of 3 is heavy to hold. You get a lot of donut for your buck. I've been on a Paula's kick for a couple months, stopping in when appropriate for my donut desires but trying to be mindful of my waistline. I like to sit down and really enjoy every bite. These are not ordinary donuts, they are an experience to savor. But how do Paula's donuts help one recover from surgery? It's about what you might do with them. My friend picked me up and brought me home after the hospital and slyly produced a bag of donuts for me, which I sat down and ate the minute I walked in the door. The unexpected gesture of something I've been enjoying a lot lately certainly took my mind off any discomfort. Nice friend, right? Part of recovery is having supportive friends and family and I'm glad I've got that. And I'm glad I also got a bag of donuts to make a "rough day" a lot better.
