Update: Today's visit was.... Okay. I've been here a few times and they've all been great. But today's visit was not up to par. One, they ran out of boba. It's a boba tea place! You know what? Its okay. Things happen, I understand. I continue ordering my drinks. I also ended up ordering a rice bowl, which was delicious but was missing the mushrooms and edamame that I wanted to add. The guy making my food was awfully nice though, so I let it go. ALL of their trash cans were full to the brim, to the point where trash was sticking out of them. I really do enjoy their bubble tea, and the food is really good. Places like these have bad days and I would still recommend that you come try it out. read more

I've loved Bubble Tea since I was a little girl so Im so happy more of these are popping up around here. I have to say they did a GREAT job designing this place! It's welcoming, cozy, relaxing, and trendy. The ramen is tasty, delicious! The bubble tea is flavorful and there are a ton of varieties! There are wooden privacy booths along the wall perfect to hang out with a group of friends, a first date, or maybe just because you need some alone time with a book. Each booth has journals where people leave their drawings and messages **Warning** if you bring your child you might want not want to let them read through those, some are not exactly kid friendly lol ... There are card games and board games on shelves near the front of the restaurant along with more high top seating and super comfy lounge chairs in the center. Overall, I LOVE it here! Huge selection of flavors, milk tea and fruit tea. You can customize your bubble tea to your liking; such as adding more or less sugar, as well as more or less ice. I ordered the taichi green tea milk bubble tea and it was very good! The restaurant is very spacious inside with plenty of seating options. I particularly liked the large wooden booths. I look forward to trying additional tea flavors, and I would also like to try the food. read more

Had a milk tea with almond flavoring and pearls + a sushi burrito earlier today. I was very surprised by how tasty the burrito was. It was esstenially a sushi roll, but larger in a burrito size form. I got the white rice with tofu, lettuce, cucumber, acavado and carrot with spicy Thai sauce on the side. Very tasty! The boba pearls seemed a little dense (we came when they opened 1130 so maybe that's why?), but still delicious. I'd be willing to return. read more

Sushi Burrito. Yum You pick your proteins and mix ins and the result is fresh and delicious, but a little pricey. I got a 2 protein burrito and a large tea and the total was $14.00; way more than I want to spend for lunch. The place is cute, lots of comfy places to sit, and books and pencils at every table for self expression. I won't go there on a regular basis but it will be a nice treat every once and a while. read more

This place definitely exceeded my expectations! The decor is super cute. They have these little books laying on the tables and around the register for you to write little notes in. It was a nice touch! They make ordering super easy. It's DEF easy to go overboard (which I did) with all the toppings lol I ended up getting a rice bowl with crab and salmon perfectly paired with almost every topping they offer lol I couldn't even get through half of it. I ended up not taking it home and had to throw it out because i wasn't sure how the meat would keep. I also got a fruit bubble tea that was 5 stars! It's a bit expensive.. my total came to $15 but you're paying for what you get. And you're getting great quality! read more

Great atmosphere in there with quality food and bubble tea. Their spicy miso ramen is really good, better than some ramen restaurants that I've been to in the area. A great place to go with friends to either study or just socialize. It does take awhile to get your order even when it's not busy. read more

This is a cute place to grab a drink and catch up with a friend/do work. The environment is great! The bubble tea selections were limited, you have your basic flavours and a few specialty drinks. I did like the sushi burrito station though. There were a lot of ingredients you can pick out for your sushi burrito, and the chef will make it right in front of you. Love this place. The space is bigger than the Rochester branch. I always get their Thai Iced Tea. It's honestly not bad and for the price it's decent. It's always clean and I wish they had other type of tea selections tho. They also have sushi bowl/burrito stuff which is great if you wanna grab food and drinks. This place also have board games that you can play with your friends. A great cozy place for groups or couples. read more

I can't say enough about this place. a hankering for boba, led me here after googling a few months ago. The many varieties of teas made it a little bit of a challenge. My first request, as it was still pretty cool outside, was a hot Rose Special with tapioca pearls. It was like heaven. Many may not like rose tea, but it is absolutely one of my favorites, so comforting and soothing. Since that first time I have ordered three more times. My next type of tea was the cold honeydew with passionfruit boba. What a tasty treat! The burst of the passionfruit was quite a taste sensation, mixing well with the honeydew. Yum! The staff is very helpful and friendly and the interior, with its cozy wooden of the restaurant,with it's cozy wooden booths, makes you want to grab some friends and play a board game, and sipping tea. I failed to mention that in addition there is Sushi as well as other healthy salads or bowls, but don't take my word for it. You must check it out for yourself/selves. Deeeelightful‼ read more

I can't believe it took Buffalo this long to catch onto the poke bowl. Coming from NYC I was so happy that a place like this finally opened up. The sushi bowls are reasonably priced and I like how you don't have to pay extra for certain toppings such as avocados. They are tasty(not NYC good) but good considering the area. The one complaint I have is that they are really slow. It took me 30 mins after ordering to get my sushi bowl when there was only 2 people in line in front of me waiting for theirs as well. It's hit or miss with the bubble tea with the sugar levels. I've been here multiple times and always ask for less sugar. Sometimes I got less sugar and other times it seems like they completely ignored my request and the drink was way too sweet. The only reason I would come back is for the occasional craving for a sushi bowl and the cute little booths which are great for studying. read more

I LOVE their food here!!! But it's a germ freaks NIGHTMARE! Not clean at all. But again I love the food so I bite my tongue and go anyways!

I really had high hopes for this place, seeing all of the great reviews, but I fear I set the bar too high... The inside decor is really cool! The booths look like little private alcoves, as opposed to regular booths that you would normally see. They have board games available for people to play, as well. This following is solely based on the bubble tea, as that is all I have tried. The first time I went to Tai Chi, I ordered an iced green tea with light sweetness. What was strange to me was that they used a machine to mix the tea and syrup and bubbles as opposed to doing it manually. That was the first time I experienced that, but have recently seen it done this way in malls. That was my first initial turnoff. The tea itself was pretty good. The green tea tasted fresh brewed which was nice and it really wasn't that sweet, which was satisfying. The bubbles on the other hand.... ehh. The consistency was fine but they have a strange taste and aftertaste that I can't quite put my finger on. Not the worst but certainly not the best. That entire first experience was just that. My second experience is what turned me off to where I'm not sure I will return. This time I ordered an original green milk tea, also with half of the sweetener. Since I had been before, I knew what to expect with the machine and all so I wasn't bothered. I received my drink and all looked well so I grabbed a straw and returned to my car to head home. When I first tasted my beverage, I thought it was interesting. Definitely different than other milk teas I have had, but it wasn't bad. I drove for about five minutes, and when I went to drink some more, the area where the bubbles were in the drink looked strange. I turned on the lights in my car, and it looked like the milk tea was curdling where the bubbles were. Needless to say, I didn't drink anymore. I know that some teas and ingredients when mixed with milk cause it to curdle but I didn't think green tea would, and especially something offered on the menu. It's unfortunate because this place had such great reviews and I was expecting the best bubble tea ever, but my expectations were not met. I may try going again to see if maybe I just got a bad batch of milk tea that night, but I will def be sticking to my other go-to bubble tea place from now on. read more

Absolutely love this place! The bubble tea is honestly top tier in terms of quality and it's packed of flavor. If you like fruity teas I highly recommend the grapefruit boba with mango jelly. all their milk teas are very good too if you're in the mood but the fruit teas (let me say it again) is top tier. The sushi burritos are so filling and have so many options and you can customize it your liking. This place also has free WiFi and is open late if you want to get a study session in or are just chilling out and socializing with friends. They even supply you with board games so keep you entertained for hours. Great atmosphere and vibe this is my go to boba place when I'm in buffalo! read more

Best boba in buffalo!! Great atmosphere with games and outlets at each table the only bad side is the lighting is quite dark if your are not into that but I kinda liked it. Perfect place for college students to just have some tea, poke and hangout and it's really close to ub campus. They have many boba flavors and various customization options. I recommend smoothie boba if you aren't as much a fan of milk tea; it's also a lot more flavorful. I had a poke bowl with salmon crab veggies edamame and spicy mayo. You can get rice bowls, burritos, and salads. Bubble tea is fantastic. The staff are super friendly. This is the perfect place for college students, about a 10 min drive from UB South. I will definitely be coming back here, and I would recommend everyone to come here at least once. There's really nothing else like this in the area. Bubble Tea is creamy and chewy, basically a different style than Tea Leaf. It's very good but the bubbles are a little bit too chewy for my taste (though others my prefer that). That being said, I took off a star because they don't offer a rewards incentive (like Tea Leaf) and the lighting inside is rather poor (unless you're in the booth). Give this place a shot though, it's pretty good. read more

This place is BEAUTIFUL! The interior is outstanding. Each seats( including booths) have books and pens for customers to write while hanging out there. It's nice to read other people thoughts and reply. It allows people to write their thoughts down when they cannot talk to others about it. Love their bubble tea and the various selections. The place is peaceful and you can tell by looking around that people are enjoying their time spending there. I always get my bubble tea hot :) perfect for winter time too. I can't remember the flavor of the tea but it was like a chocolate coffee kind and was amazing.

Food is good, but their are a lot of sauces so one must be careful to which sauce they choose. My wife choose the mango sauce and it was way too sweet, but maybe that's how it's supposed to be. I also made the mistake of getting a "too sweet" bubble tea as well. Next time I'll request the lower sugar option. read more

My first impression of this place was that it was dark and you couldn't see any of the staff, they're all boarded up behind a wall. I thought this was a dine in restaurant but it's more like a takeout experience which could be because of COVID I'm unsure I didn't ask. I ordered a sushi burrito and a milk tea. Although the experience wasn't as welcoming, and no one explained how to order the food and tea was great. If you're visiting for the first time they have paper menus form styled where you fill out what you want and just give it to them. The wait wasn't long at all.
