Sushi Burrito (Two Proteins) and milk tea
    Catt M.

Ordered from here again and I enjoyed it just as much the first time! I am a big fan of the sushi burrito! This time I added green peppers, pickled radish, and spicy mayo. Highly recommend the pickled radish! Perfect blend of sweet and tart with a lovely crunch!

I came here because it popped up on my Too Good To Go app for a 9:30 -10pm pick up time. I paid $8 and got 2 large Boba Drinks one with black tea and some kind of juice and the other was green tea with kiwi. 1 regular drink was $6 so a decent deal. I had never been here, but noticed they had a nice variety in their menu, including Ramen, Poke Bar, and Boba snacks. I'd come back to try some food as the boba was good.

Their drinks remain consistent and not too sweet. I appreciate that they're open until 10PM, it makes for a great post-gym stop or casual hangout/study spot. My friend and I finally got around to trying their food options - we got the teriyaki chicken rice box and pork and chive dumplings. On their own, they come a bit dry but you can customize it to your liking with sauces on the side. It's pretty decent food at a reasonable price point and good portions, the dumplings definitely filled me up. I tend to order for pickup through DoorDash or at the kiosk but service is nice and they seem well staffed.

Amazing array of Japanese, Chinese, snacks and boba teas! Great service in a clean, welcoming establishment! This was our first time here and we will be back for the fresh variety of produce, choices of proteins and unlimited mix-ins, flavors, toppings and crunch! We were so overwhelmed by the huge bowl and dug in right away- sorry, no pictures!! Thank you Lily and personnel for a great gastronomical experience! Did get a few shots of restaurant- do patronize Taichi!

I was with my wife at the hospital and was craving a poke bowl. The first thing that caught my eye was Taichi's prices for Door Dash. It was much more reasonable than the closer poke places. While their poke was not the best I ever had, it was still good with plenty of options. I also enjoyed their fried tofu. Some places use a pressed or prefried tofu so the inside is dense and not fluffy, but there's was very fluffy.

I came here craving for some smoothie and snacks during my lunch break. The area was clean and well kept. The person working at the front was super patient with me since it's my first time here, I was thinking too much about what to order for snacks because there's so much variety. The snacks and drink were delicious. The food was good too. I didn't know I was going to get a box of fried tofu, usually other places will give small portions. The thai tea can be more sweeter tho, I should've asked about the sweetness level. Overall, definitely will be coming back here since this is close to my workplace.

Taichi added some new premium tea lattes on their menu so I came here to try them. I got the Camelia Oolong and the Icy Jasmine. Sadly, the icy jasmine was sold out so I decided to try the Phoenix Oolong instead. I also got the popcorn chicken which came with sweet and sour sauce and spicy mayo. The camelia oolong was so good, it was super floral which I like and the perfect amount of sweetness. They also use lactose free whole milk. I wasn't a fan of the Phoenix as much but it was still good. I will definitely be back to try their Icy Jasmine. The popcorn chicken was super juicy, meaty, and perfectly coated. It paired very well with the sweet and sour, and the portion is huge! The workers were very nice, the cashier gave us recommendations. There are plenty of seatings, and not too loud, so perfect for studying. There is a kiosk or you can order at the cashier. Their menu is huge and has a variety of drinks and food items.

This food was made quickly! The servers were kind and all the food tasted light and fresh. A great spot for a quick yummy dinner. I am so glad this place is not far from me.

Passion fruit tea with regular boba (ordered mango popping boba).

Ordered 2 boba drinks on DoorDash. The one supposed to have mango popping boba was made with regular boba instead. Their regular boba is super chewy. In person I'd just ask them to remake it but can't do that when it's DoorDash.

Jasmine Milk Green Tea with pearls. Taste just like Jasmine

Boba is really good, haven't tried their food until recently and I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the food is. My favorite is the spicy wontons, I ordered from here two days in a row and came back a third day for boba. Nice to have a place in East Sac

This has become my new favorite Tea place! I love that's not too far from where I live. I absolutely LOVE the Peach Fruit Tea its my favorite Tea here & I like to add Lychee Jelly to it as well. The Coffee // Oreo Smoothie is also really good & The Basil Popcorn Chicken is SO GOOD as well as the BBQ Pork Bao. The employees are always so friendly & welcoming everytime I come in. I love the way the dining area looks! It gives chill vibes & the giant boba tea is a nice display too ! I have yet to come and try their other food items here, & the coffee too! Definitely recommend this place if you want a good refreshing Fruit Tea!!!

    Sushi Burrito
    Mai Ger L.

Ordered from DoorDash and they give you a pretty good reusable bag. We got the sushi burrito and chicken karaage along with the Okinawa Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Zang Zang drinks. The drinks were good and boba was still chewy despite the travel time. Sushi burrito was yummy but it does fall apart relatively easy after the second bite. I think if they added another seaweed wrapper, it would help the burrito hold its shape a bit more. Chicken karaage was portioned nicely and flavor was good for us.

The poke bowl is mostly rice and not much topping. I would say half a scoop of ahi and a lot of mango and the avocado was hard and not ripe.

The broth is flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. The white tonkotsu is also very good if you're in the mood for something richer and creamier. Definitely don't skip the geso either! It's delicious and one of our favorite things to order alongside the ramen. Alternatively, if you're not in the mood for noodles, they have an excellent Tonkatsu Donburi. Ryujin can get pretty crowded around dinner, especially on colder nights when everyone seems to have the same idea, so I'd recommend planning accordingly and being prepared for a possible wait. It's worth it, though! Great ramen, authentic flavors, and a spot we're always happy to come back to.

This had the perfect balance of sweetness. It was light and refreshing and balanced the rest of the flavors of the meal. I started with the seaweed salad. It was a solid seaweed salad. Good seasoning and texture. It was a good portion size as well. Melissa and Jonathan had the gyoza. They were stuffed full of meat, but I felt like the seasoning was a little less than and also they were unevenly cooked. I still tried one though because a gyoza is a gyoza. As my main, I had the karamiso ramen with a spicy miso based broth with seasoned ground chicken, veggies and chili threads for an extra kick. I enjoyed this bowl of ramen. It was the perfect level of spice. I am partial to ground meat in ramen, so I liked that this was an option. The veggies were cooked al dente which I appreciated, and the broth was filling and flavorful. The noodles were thin which is my favorite type. Attentive service here. OUr water cups were always filled no matter how hot the ramen was. Solid meal here.

I got the black ramen garlic which came with the usual toppings: roasted pork chashu , corn, green onions, bean sprouts, soft boiled egg, bamboo shoots, and actual fried garlic. The whole garlic cloves were plentiful and so much flavor. The description says fried, but they are so buttery soft, they taste more like they've been roasted or baked in the oven. I will 100/100 always order this ramen. Very flavorful broth. My husband got the chicken ramen, which I tasted, and it too had a flavorful broth. You choose your spicy level. I got medium which was basically mild. The portion and price make this a great deal for a quick dinner in Midtown. I love the late hours and the speed of which our food came out. We ordered the geso (fried squid) and the veggie tempura. I do not recommend the tempura. The batter was thick like carnival onion rings. They need to use panko for breading. The geso was ok, and served with an aioli sauce. Stick with the ramen. No need to waste stomach space on their appetizers. The right half of the restaurant is for Ramen 101, and the other side is for Orchid Thai. You order at the counter and get a number, find a seat. The servers came around and checked on us and helped us with any requests. The nice ambiance from the Thai side carried over to the Ramen side, but both casual. I walked inside having no idea that it was going to be a top quality experience. The restaurant was huge and it was packed at 5 PM. We couldn't get a table so we sat at the sushi bar, and there was plenty of room there. Plus watching all of the chefs put together the Omakase offerings was really cool. We opted for the Japanese cauliflower curried soup, the black cod special, the king Roll, the watermelon and mint salad and the shrimp and corn dumpling. Every single dish was FIRE!!! The flavors were delicate and nuanced and perfectly balanced. Even the frisée lettuce on the watermelon and mint salad was a flavor explosion. We found ourselves drinking the sauce out of the bowl from the shrimp and corn dumpling. The croutons in the curried cauliflower soup were crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. The black cod was the texture of a scallop and the squash purée set it off just right. The king Roll was a marvel to see and absolutely a delight to eat. I loved that little hint of lemon that accented the crab and lobster flavors. 1000% recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys really damn good food. Craziest part of the meal was the cost, it was incredibly reasonably priced, not overpriced, like most restaurants of this caliber. We will definitely be back.
