Another Bambu location, this one neighbored by several other Vietnamese shops and eateries in a strip mall. My friend says this franchise has changed owners several times, but overall drinks are pretty reliable. Good if you're a person on a mission just to get your dessert drink fix in a timely fashion, but ambiance-wise, not the most comfortable or peaceful place to relax with a friend. Parking is pretty easy in the shared surface lot, but you may have to walk a bit depending on the time of day. Of their standard Che drinks, the ones with coconut milk base tend to taste pretty similar but with different textures depending on which toppings you get. I'm a sucker for pandan jelly, red bean, and mung bean, so any variation usually hits the spot for me. The Vietnamese coffees do run on the sweet side (even when asking for reduced sweetness). They do have two all-gender bathrooms, but they seem to be only half operational and not the most well-kept. read more

I've been a fan of Bambu from my time in SoCal, so I was thrilled to see they opened a location here in Sacramento! If you've never had Vietnamese dessert before, this is a great place to start. I ordered my go to, the #10 Bambu Favorite. It's a mix of coconut milk, pandan jelly, and grass jelly, but the star for me is the red tapioca (Chè Thái). If you haven't tried it, they are these delightful little gems made of water chestnut chewy on the outside with a light, satisfying crunch in the middle. They're actually made to look like pomegranate seeds. The only minor downside was the consistency of the coconut milk. It felt a bit thin/watered down, even though there wasn't too much ice. I personally would have preferred a richer, thicker coconut base. However, it still totally satisfied my dessert craving! Definitely give them a try if you want to experience authentic Vietnamese sweets. Service was quick and friendly. read more

This is a good place to get some Che with lots of menu options. I just wish their hours were better. I feel like they are always closed when I try to go! There is a small amount of indoor seating available. It can get busy at times and while there is a parking lot, finding parking can be tough here. read more

Bambu is known for their chè. I've been here multiple times in the past and they never disappoint. Their desserts are very affordable and good. My favorites are #10 (Bambi favorite) and #15 (Avacado desserts). I also like their yogurt drinks. Service is always super quick and friendly, it's never a long wait even though they get busy. read more

It's confusing that a drinks/dessert place operates mostly during standard 9-5 work hours. Most people aren't looking for dessert before dinner or only during lunch breaks. Expanding hours into the evening would make this much more accessible. read more

This is one of my go-to spots for che. My personal favorite is the #2. The volume of the drink with the amount of toppings is superior to other locations I have been too. In combination, the drink is refreshing and delicious especially after leaving the nearby markets. The cashier is always nice and our drinks come out rather rapidly which I like alot. Inside has a decent amount of seats and tables but I think the intenton was just to grab and go. Overall great drinks but I wished the coconut milk was more viscous in lieu of the watered down iteration that they have. read more

Love Bambu! Lots of popular Vietnamese desserts and drinks. I come here for their Vietnamese coffee but also recommend the Avocado coffee smoothie as well! Parking can be a limited but there's usually parking somewhere. Just be careful where you park and keep an eye on your surroundings. A few tables inside and sometimes outside. Please note they do close early like at 4pm, so good early in the day for your caffeine or in the afternoon for your dessert! read more

I love all the dessert drinks here. They have expanded their menu since it opened awhile ago. They have fruit smoothies as well as coffee and boba. Their service is usually pretty quick, but there was one day that I went and waited 10minutes too long. The person that took my order actually forgot to make my drink and I didn't realize it until I saw 4-5 people after me getting their orders. She apologized and although I was a little annoyed, I realized that it could have happened to anyone when restaurants get busy. It's always busy when I'm here but it's a good sign when I hear a lot of vietnamese in the background. I wish I lived closer, I'd be here everyday. read more

Authentic Vietnamese coffeehouse/drink location. Their #1 is their flagship drink with all of the coconut slices and add ons included. It's fresh, tasty, and not too sweet. They also have the regular boba/milk tea style drinks, smoothies, and iced coffee as well. Prices are a bit on the higher side. Parking is available in the adjacent lot. Be careful of transients and homeless people with needles on the street. Staff is friendly and efficient. Recommended. read more

Love the #10 from this Bambu location. This make it just right with the sweetness. It can get busy sometimes so expect a line especially in the summer time. There's a few tables for sitting inside and one or two tables outside only so don't really expect this to be a sit and enjoy place. Also their Nutella macaron is pretty good. You can get ice on the side for your dessert drinks, just let the cashier know. read more

The young kid in the front cashier was digging his nose for Gold. It was on my spoon. Gross! I recommend the owner to review the camera to see what he does. I was disappointed and gross out by his behavior. I throw away my drinks. Wasted my money and will never go back. Not sure if it's a new owner? so i got the #10 bambu special and it was pretty good. honestly don't know how to describe the taste or flavors but there's a bunch of different jellies and stuff in there. maybe coconut milk? idek bro but it was pretty good. there was only one girl working in the front which made things go a lil slow so they should add another person to the payroll to make service just a bit faster. otherwise good service and nice staff. drinks are also pretty good. price is alright too. $6.50 for the cup is ight, not terrible read more

They make the drinks pretty fast. They only have 1 size cup off the menu, and as you can see, the mango dragon fruit size. I guess here tip: u can ask for an additional ice bag on the size to add more into your drink as well. #1. It's the most expensive one on the menu, $8.50. I've been coming here for years. Never have good service each time but today was the worst visit. I order #6 , I told the rude cashier that I don't want boba. She just screamed at me that where on the menu is the boba word?! I said red tapioca, isn't it boba? She screamed "NO" at me. I'm at the age where I can be her mom. The way she talked she just screamed and gave me such a poor attitude. I didn't see her do that to the male customers. What a shame to think this is how they do business here. read more

Bambu has always been one of my favorite spots for che. It's great to see this in the Sac area as a San Jose local! BAMBU SPECIAL (#1): 5/5 This drink is super refreshing especially on a hot summer day. Honestly, I think it beats drinking boba sometimes. They seriously make the best banh lot, and I love how longan, coconut meat, and basil seeds are included. I did notice that their menu slightly differs from the location in Elk Grove, and they don't allow upsizing for desserts. The prices here are steep depending on what you get, but it is so worth. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

Bambu is not the same anymore.. smh We ordered 4 drinks and among one of the drink.. we added red tapioca to the coffee. The red tapioca tasted hard and old. Told the owner they denied it Ava says they'll refund if we want.. but that's NOT the point. Located in a little shopping plaza, there is a crowded parking lot. However once you endure the long lines, you get rewarded with come great Che or drinks. I usually get the smoothies or the yogurt beverages, & have not been disappointed. The interior has some seating but is quite small. So this place is best to take your order to go. The process is quite fast from ordering to pick up. They're very on top of their orders and are very consistent with their accuracy. read more

Omg yum!! I was in town on a road trip with my mom and whenever I'm in a different city I always have to stop to get boba or any Asian drink to try it out. I was on yelp during the whole trip to see which place I should go and I decided to go to BAMBU. Very easy to find, good parking. They have a large selection of drinks but I decided to go with the bambu special. I was just paying for the drink and it was already done, so they are very fast at making drinks. The first sip was heaven. It was so so refreshing and absolutely delicious! I love all the textures of the chewiness from the jelly and then crunch from the basil seed. I'm craving one now! BAMBU is my favorite location for desserts. They have numerous branches spread across California. The closest address to your location can be found using Google. Bambu is a store that specializes in Vietnamese desserts and all different kinds of drinks. The fact that the drinks and desserts aren't overly sugary is what makes me love this business. I always visit Bambu to buy a cup whenever I miss a taste in Vietnam. Additionally, they sell pennywort juice, especially at the Sacramento location. Pennywort has a cooling impact on the body, is quite tasty, and is great to drink. This store is exceptionally clean, and the service is quick. I highly recommend this place!! read more

This location I must say has the freshest ingredients. You can taste the freshness of your drink. I got the smashed avocado with the red chestnut jelly and pandan jelly it was delicious. Service is fast, you order and your drink is out immediately. The place gets busy, so come early. There is ample parking as well. Not a very big space there is only a few tables if you would like to sit and mingle. Would definitely come back when we visit Sacramento again. read more

As I've mentioned before, I absolutely love Vietnamese coffee, because it definitely has that "kick" to it. The coconut milk played so very well in blending into the coffee, the richness and sweetness of the coconut milk, just playing against the coffee perfectly. Just an amazing coffee. A little bit less successful, was a corn, sticky rice, that also came with mung beans. I liked the corn, and the sticky rice was just a little bit sweet, and it was great. The fried onions also gave it a bit of a contrast. I was not a fan of the mung beans. To me, they were just a bit dry. To me, the Dish ate a little bit like a dry stuffing. It also came with a "dust", that to me tasted kind of like peanuts and toffee. The Sweet and Savory of the Dish played very very well together. The staff are all super nice and I love how customizable the drinks are. The tea aroma as you walk in is very inviting to me. I normally don't get cheese foam but they were doing a BoGo so I gave it a try with a colleague. It really hits different when you reach the end of your sweet drink and then a salty creamy foam taste enters. Actually made me want more of the foam! App is convenient for orders since the parking lot is small and hard to find parking. Afternoons especially on a weekday when students go. Follow their Insta to stay in the loop on promotions :)

I tried the tea bar milk tea with boba and egg pudding. The drinks came out fairly quickly. I enjoyed the firmness of the boba. My friend got the Jasmine milk tea. She didn't particularly enjoy it. She finished the whole drink and felt like it wasn't caffeinated enough. She was still tired after drinking milk tea. They have croffles now! Will definitely need to make another visit to try the croffles.

The vegetables that were provided were celery and carrots. Sides of ranch were served which went well with the popcorn chicken and vegetables. The Mango Cloudy drink was refreshing. It was made with a lot of mango so it was very flavorful and sweet. There were bits of mango at the bottom that were tasty! Service was good as the workers were friendly. It was very unfortunate that the menu falsely advertised the selection of any drink but when ordering on the kiosk there were additional charges for certain drinks.

My only recommendation is cutting down the strawberries into smaller chunks; they look appealing on the outside but don't contribute as much to the flavor as the peach does. Also, it would be neat to have strawberry bits small enough to sip on. Bonus points for the minimalistic zen atmosphere. I can tell that this place wants to resemble more of a break stop with a bakery rather than a boba shop, which makes sense given that they sell a wide variety of desserts. I'd recommend coming here for a solo study session.
