I stopped by recently and had a great first impression. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away, which is always appreciated. The ordering process is self serve, with two touchscreen kiosks located on the left side, making it easy to browse the menu and customize your order without feeling rushed. I loved the variety they offer. Not just drinks but also hot foods and donuts, so there's something for everyone. I decided on the Panda Milk Tea and adjusted the sweetness to 50%, which was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that it came with both agar and regular boba, adding great texture to the drink. It was refreshing, flavorful, and definitely something I'd order again. For food, I tried the French fries and the popcorn chicken. The fries were decent but could have used a little more salt, while the popcorn chicken was flavorful and enjoyable. My only complaint was with the sauces. When my hot food was handed to me, no dipping sauces were included, and I had to ask for them. Thankfully they were free, but I was only given one ketchup and one ranch for the entire order, which felt a little skimpy considering the portion size. Sure, I could have asked for more, but it would have been nice if they were offered automatically or included from the start. Every major city has that one well-known milk tea/fruit tea franchise. For Sacramento, I assume it's T4 since it seems to pop up everywhere on Google Maps. The best word I can use to describe this location is reliable. Their brown sugar milk tea and passionfruit tea consistently taste great; they're not at the top of my list but certainly acceptable, especially when it's 10pm and it's the last boba shop open. The value could be better on the normal-sized brown sugar milk tea with boba. For a little over $8 after tax, it's on the smaller side. However, the price makes more sense for the fruit teas (~$6.25 with boba after tax). This is a great cafe for passing by -- it's conveniently near both midtown and downtown. If you're driving though, good luck finding a parking spot. read more

This is one of my favorite boba places! I used to come here a ton during COVID times but haven't gone in the last few years. I've been craving boba and I was in the area so I decided to stop by T4. I got a taro milk tea w/ boba add coconut. Good service, came out quick and the drink was very good. I really love this place because the drinks seem more "real" or authentic, not sure the word I'm looking for... I tried a boba place in LA called Miss Cheese and the drinks were basically just milk with powder flavoring added, this place definitely isn't like that. read more

I had a Taro milkshake - it was okay, kinda expected more. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. We had a small volleyball team event there after the games and one girl was throwing up all night after eating the cheese sticks - not saying this was caused by it but who knows? read more

I've always loved this spot. Although the parking is tough, I feel as though it is great for late night trips for a treat! Perfect ambiance to gather. The drinks are amazing, snacks are a must and the more friends the merrier! I used to come here more often during my college life and it never changed. I love how much light they have, perfect for photo op. My husband always drinks so quickly! He loved his red bean milk tea! I'm basic and always get jasmine tea, it's always been one of my fav go to. I definitely would recommend T4; it's great. Parking, not so much but would not heavily rate them down for the inconvenience of not being able to find parking! That said, I would still go here on a nice brisk day if I am ever in midtown, just casually walking/biking/scootering around. They offer an array of all things Milk Tea, and you can also customize how icey, Sweet, milky, or Boba-y you want your tea. Pros: -Inviting and clean upon walking in. -Friendly Staff to greet you and gives you input on what their go-to flavor is if you are super overwhelmed with the selections. LOL! -You have the option of directly ordering with the actual paid Cashier if you don't want to touch the nasty screen of the Self-Kiosk. HAhaha.. Con: -Self Kiosk, unsure if those things are ever cleaned after each use. I despised using self-kiosk at every Boba/Yogurt establishments as I am unsure if the person before me has washed their hands after using the bathroom or sneezing, etc. GROSS! -Parking is hit or miss on availability at this specific location. If you are casually walking around, biking, or scootering around then this shouldn't be an issue. The location is convenient as an entry point to Midtown, parking is limited, service is okay but a bit impersonal (also with a self ordering system), inside is nice but oddly humid, and the menu options are robust. My wife went to this establishment this afternoon to pick up an order of fried fish and chicken pieces and again was told at the time she was ready to pay that fish was not available. If she knew that when the phone order was placed, she would not have wasted her time driving through downtown. Terrible customer service. We ordered at the kiosk and took a seat to wait for our order. Shortly after two other customers came in, ordered at the registered and received their orders shortly after. I approached the female worker to inquire about our order assuming I didn't hear them call our orders out. Only for her to realize she never gave our order to her colleague to start due to her being too busy talking to the other two customers. I recently ordered a strawberry green tea and OMG, it is so refreshing! However, the boba was not the best. There were a lot of pieces that were hard. I think it was not cooked long enough for it to get soft. The interior was cute, but the seating area can be updated. Definitely the worst boba place in Sacramento. Taro is more watery than water itself. Asked for light ice and they put none just added extra water instead I guess. Came just for the donuts and I prefer interecting with someone at the register than a kiosk. I take off 1 star for the preset tip at the kiosk so look before you purchase. This T4 in midtown is one of the best boba tea shops in the area. The drinks are delicious, and the employees are friendly. I have been here a few times before. Usually, I order a drink and bring it to my car. I don't sit there at all. A few weeks ago, I ordered a drink and sat down in the shop for half hour to enjoy it because I was waiting for a Yelp event a couple of blocks away. I order the Milk Tea with Coconut Jelly. The drink is delicious as I expected. I saw they have a few tables and chairs. I decided to sit down and enjoy my drink. The shop is nice and comfortable even with many customers coming and going. The employees are friendly and attentive. They seem delighted to work here. This is a lovely store with excellent workers--delicious yummy drinks. I am really enjoying my visit. read more

My first time at the 16th street location. Located by freeway exit. Not too many parking options. Small place, qiosk order. One was broken so I had to wait for people in front of me to order while 3 of them just stood there and looked at us in the line LOL. They could have just taken the order themselves to speed things up. However MT were good. I got classic rose roasted oolong MT at 80 percent sweet and less ICE. with coffee jelly.
