The best sushi I've had in the Doral area by far! The restaurant itself is very nice and quiet, which is a big plus in my book. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful/knowledgeable with the menu. Would definitely be returning soon and would highly recommend y'all to try it

Very cute date night spot! Sushi was very fresh and very flavorful! The ll service wasn't th best as they were really full and kinda kept forgetting us. But overall food was really good !

I hadn't been back here since before the pandemic. A friend and I were looking for a place to have a tapa and drink after work. I remembered that Taikin was close and we decided to stop in. We were greeted promptly by the hostess and seated in a comfy booth. We both had the passion fruit margarita- this was absolutely delicious! Great flavor- passion fruit felt fresh not sugary. We had the tuna tartare and the pork belly was so yummy. The place has a nice decor and cool vibe. The food was delicious and we had a great time.

As soon as I heard that this is a concept from the owners of Boca's House I knew that it would be good. Located in a strip mall in Doral, parking was no hassle. I didn't browse the menu too much because I immediately noticed the $45 pre fixe dinner menu and jumped on the deal. The Peruvian and Japanese fusion just works perfectly. I started out with the shrimp ceviche that had leche de Tigre, very light and delicious option. The tokio roll was very cool with the soy paper wrap and crispy quinoa. Overall the roll has some unique combinations but it just works very well. I then finished off with the passion fruit mousse. Everything was portioned perfectly and I felt like it satisfied every craving I had. The restaurant itself is a little cold but aside from that no complaints on ambiance. Service was pretty good as well. I think this place had jumped to the top of my list in Doral, I can't wait to be back and try the other unique menu options.

Ugh Taikin is one of my favorite spots for sushi. I crave the sushi here and am always pleasantly surprised. Everything I have tried from their many rolls, their appetizers, the pad Thai, and even their lunch specials have never disappointed. The restaurant has a very chill and casual vibe. And the waitstaff is always speedy and kind and has great recommendations. Will be back as soon as I can!

I was so excited to try this place because of all the great reviews but was so disappointed. Honestly, the only thing that I thought was even decent was the tacos. Everything else fell short. I couldn't even finish eating it because it just didn't taste good to me at all. It is a nice place and the service was good but I wouldn't recommend it. I don't know if it was what we ordered but the waitress recommended the dishes so we were hoping it was going to be a lot better.

My friend Dionne invited me to lunch here , first time I have ever been here. This is the best special rolls I have had and the best Lychee Martini. We had the Irenko Special Rolls that were out of this world, we also had the Picanha Bao that were delicious. Our waitress Arianna was super nice, very friendly and professional. The ambiance is very nice, cozy planning on coming with my husband soon for dinner. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

First time at this cute Asian restaurant in Doral. The restaurant is located in the corner of a strip mall with plenty of parking. The decor is stylish and they play trendy music. We didn't have a reservation and had to wait about 20 min. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks which were reasonably priced and very good. We had the Lychee Prosecco, Lychee Martini, and the Passionfruit Mojito. The food: We started with the crispy rice which was very good. We also ordered the fried gyozas which are really empanadas but were delicious. Our mains were the Tobiko roll and the Butter Crab roll which was fantastic. Overall the food had flavor and I will be back to try some of the other options on the menu.

Cute little spot that we have been wanting to try for ever. Plenty of seating inside and out with an easy to read menu. Our waitress gave great service and when I asked for no peanuts in my food she thought it was due to an allergy and even alerted me that the oil was cooked with peanut oil. We assured her it wasn't for allergies but thanked her for asking. Since every place I go, no one has ever asked if it was allergies. Got two mojitos, classic and passion fruit, and both delicious. Loved even more that they didn't add the full leaves but just pieces. Best chicken teriyaki we've ever had. The Pad Thai fell a bit short of expectations, made with what looked like thicker noodles and a bit eggy.

Taikin Asian Cuisine is a great spot for elevated Asian food in Doral! Although in an unsuspecting plaza, this spot can get quite the crowd in the middle of a weekday. I came here for a belated birthday celebration, double date & it was such a great pick! We found this spot perusing the Miami Spice website and really loved their menu so we came to try it for lunch on a Tuesday. It was super easy to make a reservation via the link on their website, even if it was within the hour before arriving. We were seated super quick once arriving and the server was super attentive. We already knew what to get off the Miami Spice menu and wasted no time ordering. Our table got a few different things and we all shared so we could taste a bit of everything off the menu! For $30, their menu includes your choices of a small plate, a main plate, and a dessert. We ended up getting each of the small plates: spring rolls, shrimp ceviche, and nippon antojitos. Each of them were so good but my absolute favorite was the nippon antojitos- crispy shrimp wrapped in sweet plantain, topped with osaki kani salad, spicy mayo and eel sauce. For the main plates, we got the creamy bacon wagyu udon, taikin bomb roll, and the Miami roll. The creamy bacon wagyu udon was okay. It seemed that they may have cooked it on a higher heat and it wasn't as creamy as we expected with a bit more chunkiness to the egg cream sauce and the bacon wagyu not as tasty. Still overall an okay dish. The rolls though, were on point! The Taikin bomb roll was a fan favorite and if you like truffle and different flavor profiles, you'd love this roll! The Miami roll was also really good and a great staple if you like a more classic roll with shrimp tempura. For dessert, we got to try the tres leches and the nutella mousse. Both were good (served in little mason jars) but the tres leches was a clear winner amongst our group. Overall, such a great spot and I would definitely come back here, even after Miami Spice is over!

Taikin is a local favorite. Always great ambience and amazing food. I go eat there at least once a month. It's an Asian inspired menu, they have a wide variety of Asian cuisine favorites with their own Taikin twist. Some of my favorites are the crispy Octopus, the Pork Belly Ceviche, any sushi roll in the menu is amazing. Great drinks too and on weekends they have a DJ playing cool music.

The best sushi and service. We traveled from Palm Beach just for the Taikin bomb role. Amazing!! Quintero attention to our table was great and was so kind. She was amazing and can't wait to return and ask for her again. The best sushi and service. We traveled from Palm Beach just for the Taikin bomb role. Amazing!! This was my second time coming here, this time with a friend to try the Miami Spice Dinner Menu and it was totally worth it! The food was delicious and well worth the money. The atmosphere is trendy with moderate noise and very quick service. Our server, Leo, was attentive and gave us great recommendations on the best dishes. The drinks were excellent as well I had the Lychee Prosecco and my friend ordered the Sake Red Passion, both on the sweeter side. We ordered different plates to sample more of the menu, and everything was so good. Honestly, this has been one of the best Miami Spice experience so far!

The starter omakase runs about $68. It was around seven courses plus dessert, and honestly, every dish pulled its weight. Bonus points to the server, who gave clear, thoughtful explanations. Menu-wise, don't expect a parade of rolls they're clearly nudging you toward the omakase experience. But if that's the goal, they're doing it right. All in all, a really enjoyable meal and one I'd happily circle back to, next time to explore more of the menu.

This spot is located in an unassuming shopping center where a Nicklaus building is, which is perfect for when you're in the mood to keep a low profile. It's a small, intimate restaurant with counter top seating and a few tables. From the moment we walked in, the folks chopped it up with us and made jokes, which is great because it broke the ice in a way that felt like you were amongst friends. Excellent service all around. We sat at one of the tables as we intended to do a lot of talking and didn't want to be noisy at the counter. We decided to take the recommendation of the staff and did the omakase express option and a sake sampler pairing with three different kinds. No notes here because everything was great, there were several "MMMM!" moments (wish I remembered what each bite was!) and the first sake we got (pictured) was fantastic. Would definitely buy it to have at home. Big shout out to Allie, who covered our table on her first day, was very cool and definitely helped steer the dinner in the right direction. If you're in the Doral area and in the mood for some quality Japanese, definitely stop by here!

Parking was a breeze in the plaza it was in, although the parking spots themselves were a little slim. Walking in, we were greeted right away and seated shortly after. The staff was all friendly and the service was super fast. The place itself was super clean and pretty large in comparison to a few other Sushi Sakes I've been to. The menu is pretty extensive so I took quite some time looking at it to decide what I wanted. I was trying to be a bit healthy but my options were pretty limited if I wanted to stay budget friendly. I ended up getting some a sashimi sampler and shared the dynamite appetizer. Both were decent but I do have to say, I have high expectations for the dynamite appetizer so my opinion may be a little skewed. The sashimi was fairly fresh but I wish they had other options for something with less rice on their menu. We also got drinks, the lychee martini and lychee sangria. Both were really good!
