    Lomo Saltado

I saw this restaurant through Instagram and decided to take 4 of my coworkers for lunch and to give this place a try. When we were seated, the waitresses took long to take our orders. We were served after two tables and they were seated 20 minutes after us, which I didn't understand why their food would come out before us. When we got our food, the portion was small. The lomo saltado did not taste like an actual lomo saltado. The cut of the beef was thick and tough. The taste was off. The entire menu was pricey for lunch even with the 20% discount. Overall, the food wasn't what I expect. The place and ambiance was cute for pictures and all but not worth the money that they are charging, for what did not taste like a lomo. Also, beware of the service charge that they tackled onto your bill, when the service was slow for non a busy restaurant. If the service is poor, I think people should have the option to put the amount that they think is reasonable. Needless to say, I felt embarrassed that I bought my coworkers thinking that the food would be great.

My ceviche roll was delicious!!! Definitely will try the real ceviche next time too. The fried rolls are also tasty. There are a lot of piece in their rolls so it's more filling than other sushi places. Sushi pizza was good. Cute area to sit outside and staff very nice. Pricing is good.

Incredibly delicious menu and a gracious host Fabi. The food was well prepared, presentation was pristine, each dish was cooked to perfection. We ordered the beef salad, tuna pizza, volcano roll, and chicken torimaki. We came to this restaurant on accident but ended up being a great time! Will come back again. Best restaurant I've been to in a long time with reasonable prices for the experience.

I really don't like writing bad reviews, but I have quite a gripe with this place. I came on a recommendation from a TikTok video praising the restaurant. First and foremost, for it being an asian fusion place, there is a lackluster option for "foreign" alcohol. On google it said there was Sake. However, when we asked 2 servers about any kind of sake they were clueless and then brought back an option of 3: 1. Mango Nigori Sake for $27, A Sakura Nigori for $37, and a canned Junmai Sake for $16. Then came the appetizer we ordered: Edamame & Fried Gyozas. The both of them tasted as if they came from a frozen P.f. chang's bag. The sushi, on the other hand, was pretty good. We ordered 'The Beast' and 'Burrito Tempura' rolls. Overall, a relatively mediocre experience for the price point. Many areas where I believe they can improve and make it a spectacular restaurant. Great view out back, asian fusion (most people die for), and good sushi rolls. Really hoping to see them improve in the future.

The 5 course meal has potential and can provide a great experience. The story line behind it is okay but can be creepy at the same time. Didn't think the story matched as well as it should with the dishes provided to paint the perfect correlation and story. The 2 drinks consist of a welcome drink and champagne after dessert. Service was good and transitioned well thought out the experience. The set up is nice with good sound quality and the immersion experience was generic as nothing that wowed us. As for the 5 course meal, it was not worth the price tag, granted it's about the experience but even that was also nothing spectacular. The empanadas were different with octopus and was okay. The best dish of the night was the quinoa garden with salmon. That was an amazing dish!!!! The sushi roll was nothing more than a vegetable roll! The worst dish by far was the alleged wagyu skewers! That was definitely not Wagyu as I pointed it out to the waiter and showed him how tough it was as I could not even chew my 2 pieces and nor was my daughter able to. The video posted clearly showed how tough it was and it was disappointing to be served such a bag quality piece and call it wagyu. The dessert was sweet and nice. Wished it was served with little more fruit to balance the sweetness of the dulce de leche! Overall, it was a cool experience for my daughter and I but not the experience as expected for the price paid.

What really stood out was how immersive and creative the experience was. My 9-year-old was completely engaged the entire time--wide-eyed, impressed, and talking about it nonstop afterward. That alone says everything. Baku isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that sparks imagination, excitement, and genuine joy for both kids and adults. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for something truly unique.

The food and drinks are consistently amazing. I've been coming here since they first opened (I believe back in 2014), and I'll keep coming back. Their menu is packed with bold, flavorful dishes, an impressive cocktail selection, and honestly, they were one of the places that got me through COVID! From the pizzas to the entrées, everything is outstanding. I celebrated my birthday here just last week, and as always, it was excellent. The churrasco is consistently tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The mushroom risotto is rich, creamy, and bursting with earthy mushroom goodness. For dessert, we shared the warm banana bread with salted caramel ice cream, and wow... I still can't stop thinking about it. Whether it's happy hour, lunch, dinner, or a special occasion, Finka never ever ever disappoints. After all these years, it's still one of my favorite spots in Miami, and I recommend it to everyone looking for a memorable lunch, dinner or happy hour, do it right and come to Finka.

The nigiri: unagi was tasty, hotate didn't really taste like anything, salmon was tasty, hamachi and the amaebi was chewy, tuna was tasty. The skyroll wasn't bad and not spicy. The limited menu matcha 3 leches wasn't bad but I don't taste the macha. It was decently soaked and the fruits were all fresh and nice looking.
