I ordered a club sandwich and got a sandwich. The quality was good but it was not what I ordered. A club has 3 slices of bread and I got 2. With the food network channel and social media available to you, I would think all you need is your own tablet to look up how to make a club sandwich. Also, for best results when making a sandwich meats, cheeses and tomatoes should be served at room temperature, lettuce should be served cold and bacon should be served hot. read more

In town visiting in laws and found this place when gps took us off 95 to get around some traffics. I had the gator bites and raging gator burger. DELICIOUS. Had the texture of a crab cake, and tastes resembles chicken. My wife had a club sandwich that far surpassed her expectations. My mother in law had the shrimp and sausage gumbo and said a number of times how much she enjoyed it. The bartender was friendly and efficient. Looked like she was also serving tables when I stopped in for a to go order. All tables were full and there were 6 or so people at the bar. All seemed to be enjoying themselves. Dinner was excellent. Service was beyond excellent. We felt at home, everyone was happy and looking to make sure we were just as happy. Dinner was on point. We enjoyed the Tailgators for lunch today. It was well past the lunch hour. I got the French Dip sandwich and my wife got a burger. Both sandwiches were very good. Our only complaint was the French fries were heavily salted. Maybe they wanted us to drink more. Service was very attentive. read more

Relocated to SC 8 months ago. This is by far the best burger in SC so far. Friendly service and good homemade chip. My only downside is and reason for 4 stars not 5 is the 4% surcharge for using a credit card. So many places are doing that now. That on top of the now customary 20% service tip is making eating out less attractive to me and I suppose others. read more

I've been here a few times. Love it! I have gotten the Greek salad with chicken. Omg best salad! GATOR BITES! All I have to say. This time, I got those and a side of broccoli, and a side salad. I requested they all come together, and they did just that! Brocolli was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The salad was fresh! My boyfriend got the Philly and fries. He loooved it. Almost one of those places you would have to be a local to know that this place existed since it's off the main drag; and even then sits off the road along with a few other businesses. For a bar (and grill), the main plus was no smoking inside. Also had a pool table. Noticed Saturday's is pool night. Had a variety of items to choose from (I got the French Dip Sandwich- not expecting for a Bar And Grille place). Alligator burgers!!! I didn't have the burger, my bro loved it taste like chicken, I tasted the alligator appetizer which it does taste like chicken and it was good. We sat at the bar, bartenders super friendly and helpful, drinks good, cool chill atmosphere , nice pool tables. I had the best salad (huge) ever! Still mildly new to the area my family and I stopped in on an afternoon to try it out. The food is SO good! However there were quite a few things that were not in stock. The bartender did a great job of recommending alternatives. Everything seems to be made to order. It was fresh and HOT. Good draft and bottle beer selections. Fantastic pulled-pork!!! Chili was VERY cold as if it came straight from refrigerator. It seemed to have patches of heat as if warmed in microwave, but still extremely cold for most part. Bartenders/waitresses (one male & three female - one named "Shelly") lacked interaction. The male rarely looked my way and didn't notice me holding up my credit card to pay my tab. He was too focused on the female co-workers. The females were either huddled together at the opposite end of the bar or focusing on the patrons playing billiards. I thought by sitting at the bar, I'd have better service...but NOPE!!! Stopped in on the way back from the beach. Purpose was to watch a football game and was craving a burger with fried egg. This place had both and worked out for us. Food was decent but the staff was great! Very friendly and you can see why the locals frequent this place. Especially if you are a Packers fan. Definitely a Green Bay Packers bar but they do have the ticket and had my Panthers playing on a tv as well. Incredibly accommodating and friendly staff! We were driving through South Carolina and wanted to stop for lunch and to catch the opening half of the first game for the 2021 Seahawks season. The Tailgators staff ensured the game was on for us, and allowed us to bring our dog as well. To boot, the food was delicious - Highly recommend the gator bites.
