They have separated different top pieces of the dresses which allows you to completely customize and see what your dress could look like! I ended up going with the skirt of one dress and the top of another because of how great their selection of separate pieces is. After making appointments with two well known bridal shops in NYC, I learned about Rebecca's designs and knew I had to try them on. As a plus sized bride, I had a lot of apprehension about stores not having options that would work for my body. But every dress in her collection comes in size 00-30! When I arrived for my appointment, I was in excellent hands with experienced design consultants Rose and Ellen. They were so patient and fun guiding me through trying on a bunch of different dresses - including several mix and match options! I was surprised by the dress I ended up falling in love with (the Shannon gown) but I felt so beautiful in it and Rose and Ellen really went above and beyond. I also just want to shout out the location - if you're located in NYC, you can take the Metro North straight there, and I mean literally straight to the studio. When you get off the train (45 min ride), it's a short walk through a super cute former industrial area that's now all restaurants and little shops, and the studio is right on the Hudson. Make an afternoon of it! Thank you Rebecca Schoneveld for your amazing designs, I can't wait to come back for my fitting!!

UPDATE JUNE 2022 I. went. back. I just couldn't find…read moreanything in my budget anywhere except online at David's... so back I went.. We cried. We laughed. We rang the bell! I found the one! It was a rough go (with me returning 4 times and having to do a lot of the leg work, finding and holding up dresses myself). Ultimately I found my dress myself as it is almost impossible for them to find anything you see online. And even though the company says they are size inclusive, at the store level it is very limited to try on. The store is trying to get organized and improve but they have a big mountain to climb. They are understaffed and weekends must be avoided at all costs (pure chaos). But I do want to thank Nancy, Hayley, Kai, Evelyn and Rebecca for your help.

She took the time to speak to each bridesmaid to find out what kind of style they were looking for since I left the style open to their preference. She was extremely patient and did a fantastic job. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star review was due to a seamstress we spoke to right before leaving. She had a very bad attitude and was very short with all of us. What really annoyed me the most, was the disrespectful demeanor toward my mom. My mom had questions regarding alterations and left feeling very uneasy due to her remarks and lack of customer service. Other than that portion of our visit, everyone else was fantastic, patient and accommodating.

3days before my wedding, at 8pm I picked up my dress. Eva applied chemicals on the dark marks she…read morehad left on the front of the dress and told me once it dries off, it will come off completely. This mark didn't exists when I dropped off the dress. When the next day (48 hrs before wedding) it was still there, she stopped replying to my messages. The front of my strapless dress was lopsided becoz she had removed boning to create room around the back zipper, so much so that she offered putting pads to fill the giant gap between my chest and the front. She has no idea how to do French bustles and instead suggests inverted-cones by pulling the dress up and pinning on the outside. Unprofessional and irresponsible. Not to mention how she runs a sweat shop in her garage, working the seamstress on weekends and odd hours.
