The gals here do amazing work! I've come here twice now. Once for a jumpsuit and another time for a pair of jeans. Super happy with how both hems turned out. Prices are great, and they get the work done when they say they will. You should note that they are often busy, so if you need something done expect a 7-10 day wait. Malinda and Eve are simply the best. They tailored my wedding gown, my two flower girls' dresses, one groomsman tunic, and two of my bridesmaids dresses. The before and after is really stunning. The dressing rooms are spacious and allow a lot of room and mirrors to check for details. They did so much work and we got amazing results! I don't ever leave a reviews but this was pretty disappointing. They did a great job in the past, and I would to recommend them first every time to my friends and family. This last time, my dress under their care was stained. The first initial fitting there was no stains and I'm very detailed person noticing nicks on fabric. It rubbed me the wrong way how they tried to blame it on me asking if I wore deodorant when I went to pick it up for a final fitting. (Stain was down on the thigh area, where deodorant wouldn't be) I needed this dress being part of a bridal party wedding and couldn't get it clean in time since it was the next day. They said it wasn't noticeable. :( I just wanted to cry. They had it for 2 weeks. I'm just disappointed on how this was handed. Because they did my wedding dress with such care and I trusted them with my future alterations. This situation wasn't handled well and I had to go out a day before the wedding to buy a new dress and alter it at another place that did it in 3 hours. This place was also pretty backed up and busy so maybe that's why some garments weren't handled as well. So note that if they are backed up and busy to go somewhere else. Fast alternations does it for affordable and quick with quality. They didn't want to refund me, unless I was going to leave a bad review. I didn't take the refund because they took time to work on my garment. They don't think they made the stain and I know For sure there wasn't a stain when I dropped it off being a brand new dress and never worn. But I wished they would offer partial refund. "I can't take on anyone's problems, sorry" was what was said to me as I was leaving. So ya the day before the wedding I had to just figure it out. I blamed myself for doing it last minute but at the same time, I run a business myself and when something is under your care you handle it professionally. I take ownership if it was me. I get that we are all humans that make mistakes and I'm all about supporting small businesses first but unfortunately this is a mishap that there was no ownership and no resolution. I felt like they cared more about their review for business than their customers in this case. read more

I was spoiled by excellent tailors in tampa. This place is truly the best. I have all my work clothes taken here. If you want something really quick that is complicated; I would take it somewhere else and pay the consequences. I am sure that if it was one small thing they could turn it around. However they do A LOT of GOWNS (wedding, prom, pageant) so work clothes are not their main business. Well it maybe now that I found them :) read more

I had Eve and Melinda do extensive alterations in my wedding dress, and the work was phenomenal! They had excellent professionalism and customer service, and the quality of the work was astounding! I believe Melinda did all or most of the work. I had it taken in in the bodice, added layers of poufy material added to the skirt, so I wouldn't need to have a slip that added dimension, she took up the skirt at the waistline so it wouldn't drag, had it bustled, and added a bra leash to keep my strapless bra from showing when I wore my dress in my wedding day. My dress fit well and it complimented my shape. I had and still receive many compliments on the dress. It was gorgeous before but after, it fit Kiel a glove! I would take anything that needed alterations to Eve or Melinda 1,000 over! read more

Please do not take your dress here. I took both of my girls Homecoming dresses here and one was untouched and the other was unwearable. I had to take out breast pads because the were not anywhere near the right position for my daughters breasts. She also sewed up the area between the chest to show less and it was six stitches that were clearly visible. I only wish I could post the picture of how bad this was!!!! read more

I needed some quick alterations for a weekend board meeting, and NO ONE in Boise was available for a quick return- except Transformations! They were friendly on the phone, in person, and were able to get my clothing back to me in 3 days, even though they had a shop filled with other alterations. We have bought two sets of gorgeous expensive pillowcases from an atelier in Venice, Italy for our New York apartment. Unfortunately they were too wide for the scale of our furniture and wished from them to be cut in half, producing four pillowcases from the original two. Transformations Sewing did an expert job on this difficult project maintaining the scale of the original designs, adding invisible zippers, and framing out the edge that did not previously exist. It is impossible to tell these pillowcases have been altered and they accent our interiors to the exact scale of our furniture now. I had a great experience at Transformation Sewing! I had the waist taken in on some Chino pants for work and a pair of shorts, which turned out great, but I was really excited because they were able to shorten my London Fog trench coat! It's a lovely coat but was so long it went past my knees. Julie was able to shorten it to the perfect length (and was very patient with me during the fitting while I was deciding how long I wanted it), and it is very well done. I recently purchased a dress, from one of my favorite designers, online for my wedding. Once I received it in the mail I was not quite as happy with it. I took the dress into Eve and the gang at Transformations (I had a referral from my friend!) to see if they could work some magic! I felt very comfortable once I met the ladies, Eve and Kat (who is amazing!!!) and took a look around the dressing room full of beautiful photographs of other happy brides, even a few familiar faces!! I felt as though my request was a long shot but these ladies did not shudder from the challenge. And the results were fabulous! Not only did I have an incredibly beautiful dress to wear on my wedding day, but it was really well constructed. Kat and Ever worked with me throughout the process and even let me get involved with the creative design. Kat literally transformed my dress! And I could not be happier.
