Texted her and said I would be by that Friday. She said okay. On Friday I said I would be by at 11:30 that morning. She texted me and said she had not had time to finish them and that she would leave them UNDONE in a bag on her porch. I believe she charged me about $30 per short to just take in the waist. I found someone in my neighborhood who finished them in one week and charged me $12 per short! So, no, I would not recommend her.

At first, consultation of what I wanted done went smoothly, so smoothly in fact that I was sure that it was going to be exactly what I wanted. A few weeks later, I went to try on the alterations and the back bustle button wasn't as high as I wanted it to be, so I had them alter it again. I told them exactly where to put it and to keep it the same design only higher. I came back and picked up the dress and thought it had been fixed for my wedding day, which was weeks away. When I went to try on my wedding dress the morning of the ceremony, let's just say I had a panic attack. The bustle wasn't where it was supposed to be, in fact it was so wrong that it looks really bad! Yes, I shed tears that morning because of it, and my saving grace was a family member with a sewing kit who was able to sew together everything where I wanted it to be. I am leaving this review just so that if you're looking for alterations here, be mindful that you need to do this months and months ahead of time so that every detail is perfect. I'm not sure what happened, but it felt like my words weren't heard or lost in translation when I asked for help second alteration. I didn't ask for the money back I spent, only because my wedding day had come and gone and I am not someone who wants to fight or have confrontation.
