Tailwag is my dog happiest place. I'm thinking here, it has been almost 1.5 years that we found Tailwag. I was so worried to find the right place, and it is beyond of perfect. They treat my dog as their own! Just an amazing place and staff. I will start with the boarding and day care. Kind of a private suite , and the room has an AC to keep the dogs at the perfect temperature. During the daycare, his favorite part is the pool... well, he is a lab so pool and grabbing pillows from the couch is so much fun! But I really need to share the experience of their Academy training. Our dog started 2 months ago and we will continue. He has changed so much, so well behaved, social skills, he has become another dog, super smart! Wednesday is his favorite day of the week as it is Tailwag day (Academy time)... next day he is so exhausted, but Fridays he think it is Tailwag day again, and starts crying and when the door opens he goes outside and want to go again! not happy when I just bring him for a car ride ! We absolutely LOVE Tailwags! My 1-year-old golden retriever, Jetty, thrives there. He gets to run around almost two acres, playing and learning great social skills with other dogs. The staff even taught him how to swim -- now he's not afraid of the water and is completely pool safe. We've also boarded him overnight and while on vacation, and he's always come home happy and well cared for. It's truly the best place for him to burn off energy, stay happy, and have fun. I've interacted with Isaac twice now, and while I haven't brought my new pup here yet simply because the timing hasn't worked out, it's just a matter of time. The very first time I spoke with Isaac was when I was urgently looking for a place to care for her at 4 months old after my first dogsitter fell through. Naturally, I was concerned given how young she was, and Isaac spoke with me on the phone to make a care plan. Even though we had never met before, I truly felt like I had a partner in finding the right solution for her. We ended up not taking her at that time due to logistical reasons, but his patience and professionalism left a strong impression. The next time I interacted with them was with Sue, their trainer. We were spending a week in San Diego and brought our pup in for a required Meet and Greet before daycare or an overnight stay. She had a fantastic time during that visit. I got a tour of the facility and everything Sue and Isaac shared reassured me that this would be an incredible place for her to stay, learn, and grow. As Isaac said, it's a place where pups can develop confidence and feel secure, helping them grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs. I truly wish this place were closer to me, because my pup would be staying here in a heartbeat. It's clear that the staff genuinely cares for the dogs, and they've created an environment that's both fun for pets and reassuring for pet parents. We've been bringing our four dogs to Tailwag Resorts for over a year now, and we honestly couldn't be happier. We picked up our pup from his first day of daycare today and I'm happy to report TailWag Resorts is our new home away from home for our pup. This is an Incredible place for dogs to simply do what they do best... be a dog! The resort sits on 1.5 acres and every area and detail has been carefully and thoughtfully curated with our furry friends in mind. They have several different areas on the property to help bring your dog's senses to life from the Sniff Safari, an Agility Course and even a pool for dogs to safely play in. The wonderful staff and owners who run the resort are incredibly kind and compassionate people. You have a great sense of security knowing your dog is being well taken care of by good-natured human beings. Our conversations with Isaac, the owner, have been prompt and courteous. Our dog Jack is a very high energy dog who is about two years old. He weighs 86 pounds and is very strong. It's hard to wear him out, and believe me, we try. But we are older and do not have his energy and we're not getting a second dog. It is an absolute miracle that we have TailWag resorts around the corner in Harmony Grove. We can drop him off in the morning and at night pick up a tired, happy dog, who is ready to crash on his dog bed. They have friendly, experienced dog people watching all the interactions, and they have numerous fenced areas where they can separate dogs if needed. So I found a local doggy daycare today that was absolutely fantastic, and they're right in the neighborhood! They're located on 2573 Kauana Loa Dr, and have an entire huge property completely dedicated to only doggy daycare, boarding, etc. Owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. Named Tail wag dog resorts and just opened a few weeks ago. They're constructing an agility course, a doggy swimming pool, and so much more. I used to take my pup to Sandy paws until I found out it was literally just a tiny strip of back alley in the building with zero outdoor areas. Nothing against them personally, but this new place is fantastic and I had to share. read more

We take our French Bulldog, Loki, to Tailwag Resorts for play dates and when we go on vacation. Loki has so much fun at Tailwag. He seems to know when we are driving there to drop him off and he gets very excited. At the end of the day at pickup he is exhausted from all of the fun playing that he does. But most importantly, we know he is safe and watched carefully while he is there. The people at Tailwag seem to really love their work and treat everyone like family. We can't recommend them enough.
