My favorite Chinese fast food spot near me. They have daily specials which make it very affordable and easy to justify getting take out. The portions are huge, and I've yet to get something I didn't like. If you call in your order, they always tell you 15 minutes, no matter how many items you get. We ordered delivery so we certainly understand everything won't be fresh, but this was my most disappointing meal of the year. We ordered two combination meals (w/ fried rice and egg roll), broccoli, extra egg rolls, the boneless ribs appetizer, and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons did not arrive, there were no condiments included, and the fried rice and egg rolls from the combinations were also not included. The broccoli was decent but nothing special. The general tsp's chicken was mostly over-fried batter with some dried chicken pieces. We ordered the spare rib combo and an extra app of it for my hubby. These were absolutely inedible. The sauce was sweet up front but as soon as we got past the sauce, we were hit with OVERWHELMING salt. Now I know greasy-spoon Chinese food is usually full of sodium, but this was like licking the driveway after cleaning up from an ice storm. I chose this spot because it was recommended as being similar to NY Chinese. No, no, definitely not. The icing on the sodium cake was the egg rolls. Without a question, without any debate, the absolute rudest staff I have ever encountered in a restaurant in Orlando. Lol. Literally, these guys act like they actually don't want your business. I saw it happen with the two people ahead of me in line and just figured maybe they were cranky or something and deserved it, and then it became my turn! I will never set foot in the store ever again, and there are lots and lots of options for this kind of food at other places. My advice to the restaurant is to just go ahead and close your doors now because sooner or later the wrong person's gonna walk in and you're gonna end up in legal trouble. It wasn't terrible but I wish the spare ribs had more sauce they were dry : taste was good actually felt like it was little bit of real NY Chinese food! The chicken and broccoli was good though had sauce, the egg roll was ok to oily it didn't have meat. The vegetable lo mein was ok, wish it had more vegetables then noodles it was way to many noodles. If we are in the mood for Chinese food in case we don't find another one we would order again but has to get a little better on the sauce. read more

This place is FIRE!! Finally got my Chinese food fix that I've been searching for!! I ordered inside- they're a to-go only establishment with no indoor seating- and my food was ready in 5 minutes and I watched the chefs make it. They don't do buffet style where the food is just sitting out so everything is fresh and made to order. And Oh my the General Tso chicken was the best I've had. The chicken was tender and crunchy and the sauce was the perfect balance of flavors- a little spicy and tangy and savory and sweet. Their pork fried rice was the most flavorful I've ever had at a Chinese place and the portions were big for such a good price. My only complaint is that they're closed on Monday, because I'm gonna be craving it every day of the week. read more

I did inquire about an upcharge on swapping out my white rice for fried rice and was a put off when the girl behind the counter said that they would not do that, that I would have to purchase a fried rice separately. The food was cheap, a whole box of food was about $45, more than enough for four. Unfortunately, it was bland and, at best, mediocre. I had the curry chicken, which should be very boldly seasoned, but it was an uninspired offering. Everyone else had similar complaints about their food. This small local Chinese restaurant in University Blvd is a hidden gem. Staff needs some hospitality skill but the food was outstanding. Definitely will return. We ordered fried wontons which are the best I have tried so for since moving to Florida and their shrimp and broccoli with fried rice was fresh, large shrimp and the fried rice was very good. Everywhere else is literally so disgusting :( every single thing I've tried (which is almost everything I believe) is so delicious!
