Whenever we want quick Chinese food, we order from China Garden. They are professional and pleasant. They have the orders done when they promise. The orange chicken and General Tso's chicken are some of our favorite dishes. We also like ordering the dinner combo meals. Great value! I had heard that this place was pretty good, so we decided to give it a try. It's only a few miles from where I live in Oviedo - and there are not really any quality Chinese restaurants in Oviedo if I'm being honest. The menu selection here was large enough, all of the regular staples you would expect for Chinese takeout are here. We ordered over the phone which was simple. When I arrived, the staff was very friendly. I would say the experience of ordering and getting food here was good. I appreciate the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. The location is a shopping center right off of SR434 in Winter Springs and was extremely easy to get to. The shopping center houses a church, a bicycle shop and not much more, so parking was easy to come by. We got the food home and opened up to see that portions were of good size. I had ordered Bourbon Chicken with Pork Fried rice. My wife had ordered a few appetizers to make up her mea/ (beef sticks, pork fried rice, & crab Rangoons included). My overall summary of the food is that is was somewhat uninspiring. I did not taste bad, but it really was fairly plain and generally lacked a lot of flavor if I am being honest. The pork fried rice was more of a yellow rice w/ other ingredients that was barely fried in the traditional sense as far as I could tell. The bourbon chicken was coated in a sauce that was uninspiring. To be fair, the meal looked nice and was presented as well as any Chinese take-out place. We also ordered egg rolls which were good, no real issues there. We ate our meal, it was fine - it just was not a meal that would motivate me to make this a regular joint. This is one of those places, you'll need to check out for yourself to form your own opinion, you may find that this variation of Chinese take-out is for you - it just was not for us. read more

This was one of those times when you try a new Chinese delivery because you can't remember which one you liked the last time, then instantly regret it. You eat it because you're very hungry, but you keep saying, "we aren't ordering from here again". The spring rolls were mushy on the inside. The crab Rangoon was just cream cheese. The shrimp fried rice had FIVE shrimp...five. They were just the slightly smaller than medium shrimp. The Hunan wasn't flavorful and was just "blah". One positive was the Singapore Mei Fun. It was very good, but again with the little shrimp. Rice was yellow instead of brown. We like it when fried rice is brown. Again, it wasn't inedible...we ate it. A random Yelp find, I set the bar pretty low for, but was much closer to home than our original plans, and Dana's review peaked my interest. I was pleasantly surprised with this Chinese take out joint. Definitely a solid 4-4.5 stars, especially for the area! We ate in with the knowledge that they aren't designed for it - just a few tables and chairs, paper plates, minimal service, plastic utensils and food served in take out containers (useful for leftovers, which there were plenty of because the portions were very generous). I appreciated the vegetarian offerings, and their willingness to substitute items. Will definitely return for take out in the future as everyone enjoyed their meal- we got the house special duck, general tso's chicken, and general tso's tofu with plain fried rice. I realize it is a lost cause getting good Chinese food in this area, but this was just a bunch of flavorless dreck. We ordered a PuPu Platter, Orange Chicken, and Kung Pao Chicken. The app platter was ok, but nothing memorable in the least, and quite frankly it came with the worst egg roll I have ever had. Both entrees said spicy, and I saw the peppers in them, but neither of them were the least bit spicy. The Orange Chicken had at least a little flavor, but soggy chicken. We ordered take out food from them last night. We got the sweet and sour chicken with pork lo mein. The second order we got was orange chicken with white rice. The sweet and sour chicken was really good, I love duck sauce and theirs was tasty. The orange chicken had a weird soapy taste to it. They have great prices and delicious food. They are not really setup for dine-in, it's a carry out and deliver place. They do a great job on packing the food, have ordered MANY times for delivery and a few times for pick up, and I have to note they really carefully pack everything. The crab ragoon things are really good. Their pad thai is not the type I am used to from Thai restaurants, but it is actually very tasty. I keep forgetting to leave a review about this place but I've had delivery several times. I'm not a fan of their Thai dishes but I'm still giving it a 5 because they are literally the best Chinese in the area. Oviedo has had bad luck in Chinese restaurants especially those that deliver so I've been happy. Great boneless spare ribs and lo mein that isn't filled with bean sprouts to try to trick you into thinking it's a lot. I usually hate the rice at most places and replace with lo mein but, here, I love it. Not sure what they do different, maybe because it's fresher than most places. The sweet and sour chicken, general tsos and Orange chicken are also tasty. You can change the spice level on a lot of dishes so that is a great plus. They give large portions and the prices are good. Just a heads up, if you want delivery but yelp says you are out of the area I would try calling and asking. A good friend of mine was a regular at this establishment and bought their 7 piece dumplings. After buying their dumplings again, she bit into one of them and found raw meat inside the dumplings (see pictures for comparison). We went back to the establishment to get cooked dumplings because having raw meat inside was unacceptable. When we started talking with the lady at the front, she brought out the chef who treated as like we were crazy. He saw the dumplings and told us straight in the face that they were supposed to look like that even though NONE of the other dumplings looked like the raw one. He said that he couldn't do anything about the raw dumplings and did not re-compensate us. Had one of the best experiences in dealing with Chinese food to feast! and in delivery! We were locked down in Red Cypress Brewery as one was bartending and the other was engaged in papers that were due by midnight. Saw that China Wok III delivered and suddenly the urge for giving Chinese food another try triumphed. Despite being jaded in the past by several subpar experiences that left me feeling, "Don't you do it." I was won over by the awesome reviews by fellow Yelpers. Trusting in Yelp's EAT24 we ordered away and chose the spiciness with hopes and dreams of being delivered the awesomeness that is Chinese Food. ETA on delivery time was given 45-60mins. Meh, I had papers to write so I would focus my time and efforts. Suddenly, through the doors of the brewery came our food handed by a smiling man. Food had arrived 35mins from ordering which was a pleasant surprise for the both of us. Gave the total plus tip to the man and thanked him as he went on his way. DOWN TO THE EATING! We had ordered General Tso's Chicken with white rice, Sesame Chicken with fried rice, Teriyaki Beef Appetizers, and 2 Egg Rolls. Their food quality tastes fresh and clean. Our all-time favorite Chinese restaurant. Our 3-year-old son actually asks for us to order it for him. Everything is made-to order and delicious. We have tried the sweet and sour chicken (4 stars), dumplings (5 stars), egg drop soup (4.5 stars) and General Tso (4.5 stars). My only two suggestions are: 1. There is a touch too much sauce in the sweet and sour and General Tso. 2. The broccoli in General Tso was soggy. But those are minor.
