Unknowledgeable. Unhelpful. Poor customer service. The Valveline down the street was better able to help.

DO NOT GO HERE! They forgot to drain my old oil off and did not replace the filter. They just added…read moremore oil to my engine I came in for an oil change on Sunday May 31, 2026. Luckily my drive home was less than 5 miles because my car soon lost power when I tried to accelerate and was blowing white smoke out of the exhaust. It turns out Valvoline did not drain the old oil out or change the oil filter. They just added more oil to what was already in the car. I drained all of the oil from the pan myself after coming home on May 31 but I didn't bother taking the filter off because I didn't expect to drain very much oil off after taking the filter off, and measured out the 5.7 quarts that my car should take. What remains in the square container in the photo is just what was left in the oil pan I went to the ford dealership today for an oil change less than 100 miles after leaving Valvoline - and even after I drained some off, there was still over 8 quarts of oil in my car. Valvoline just did nothing regarding the old oil or old oil filter. They simply added more oil to the engine.

A gleaming new location atop on old Wendy's location…read more Three lanes were open today with speedy, friendly, and efficient service. The smartly dressed staff ran around like pit crew at Indy. Very good service. This new location mailed 50% off/$25 off synthetic coupons, too, so I used that and got a solid price. Even if you forget, quickly hit their website via your 'phone, and you can usually get a great coupon immediately. You can tell they care about doing it right and disposing of shop materials appropriately. Do they try to sell you additional services? Of course. Stick to what you need, and drive away happy. Oil change and wiper blades for me. I'll likely be a repeat customer for routine oil changes. The staff are polite, go getters...they got me in and out quickly. I'll be back.

I'm the daughter of a mechanic and my dad was unable to service my car with him because he's in the…read morehospital. Because of that, I'm ABSOLUTELY weary of mechanics because I've been done dirty of ones who don't have the same integrity as my dad. Lots of unnecessary up-selling and repairs unnecessary for a rebuilt salvage title vehicle and TONS of scare tactics to make more money (very common with single women trying to get car repairs) That being said: my experience at Auto Emporium was a breath of fresh air after a ton of bad experiences. I had a general idea what was wrong with my car (difficulty starting/misfiring/stalling). They took detailed notes in what I could provide about the problem and instead of wasting time digging around, they reached back out to me for additional rounds of questions TO REALLY pinpoint what the root problem was. Too many mechanics are too stubborn to reach back out for questions of the owners which can help diagnose problems sooner - it's a huge time waster!! So having their staff with a running list of questions had my car fixed SAME DAY. That timeframe was absolutely insane to me. I love that they also took the time out to itemize EVERYTHING that came up on the inspection and while that did have a price tag, I now have a to-do list of the next repairs coming up so I can save up for them. It's relieving having answers for things that could be problems later. Additionally, since like-items were itemized I could pick and choose the repairs that absolutely needed to be done for this visit. One of my concerns was the hours of operation, but they have a great little lockbox system for car/key dropoffs. So don't let that deter you from using their services! All my in person/text/phone interactions were all great! My car is starting and running beautifully again after them flushing out my transmission system same day (which is a huge relief because I was trying to organize rides for 3am work shifts) That being said, if my dad is still out of commission for the other identified issues, I would totally come back and have them do the repairs.

Who knew that just driving next door to another repair shop could save you close to $400 on 2 front…read morestruts and 2 tires for the rear. Doing that saved me almost a third of the costs. The gentleman behind the counter heard my story about what I was quoted to fix 2 problems so I could drive at least another 50,000 miles. He gave me a quote and added he could find a 10% discount to save a little more. I made an appointment for 1:00 and came back. Got NAPA struts and Kelly tires witn a 4 wheel alignment. Took longer than originally estimate, but that can be expected especially if you have an afternoon appointment. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and even reset the tire pressure to what I like to run for gas mileage. (Saturns are like Goldilocks about what tires and pressure those tires are set, get it wrong can cost up to 5 mpg) Having long hair and boobs, I have to be careful who I have work on my 17 year old baby. Some shops see someone that they can fool and make a HUGE profit. But I am those types of shops biggest nightmare, a female that knows cars and what it should cost that also have a big mouth. Maybe that is I always have repair shop tell me that the car is in great condition.

It's a freakin' shame. I have used Goodyear centers for years. I've used multiple locations, as…read morewell and this location has irked me enough to write a review, because I have not given them the benefit of the doubt once, twice.... but five times! I have a card through Goodyear, and I use them for their financing options to pay off larger car repairs within 6 months during the promo financing, so this is the primary reason I use Goodyear. The other reason is that they are open on Sundays, which is just not really a common thing for auto shops, other than the Jiffy Lubes of the world. So, where does this frustration come from, you ask? I have called this location 5 different times in the span of 1 year to have my car looked at for either an emergency related item, tire related item, HELL, even an oil change, and I've been told "We can't look at your vehicle until Wednesday". It's always the same. Call on Friday.... "Can't get you in till Wednesday" Call on Sunday morning... "Can't get you in till Wednesday." Monday.... "Sorry, Can't get you in till Wednesday". At this point, you think their corporate office would just send them a giant banner, or one of those inflatable tube guys that says "Can't get you in till Wednesday", because that seems to be the beloved motto of this store. Guys, what in the actual HECK!? I drive by your shop to see only two vehicles on lifts, and maybe 3 vehicles sitting in the lot, and you CAN'T get me in until Wednesday??? Seriously??? I've been let down so much by this location. I'm almost just going to consider them closed down as a location, and use either Hilliard or Grovecity at this point, because it won't matter.... they must only have one tech working in the entire garage on their weekends. Ridiculous. Flippin' ridiculous. If you have an emergency, you might as well keep looking, because you're not going to get your car fixed within an afternoon here.
