A complete turn around from the last time I was here. Though I was very upset with my service last time, I went back because the manager made an effort to make it right. He called and apologized and offered discounted service, though I never received those discounts I did go back. Almost everyone there I didn't recognize except for one guy, who was a big part of the problem my last visit. They were kind and courteous through dealing with a few rude customers. They made sure I got my discount from my app and also replaced my battery for me. Gave me all the recommendations for services on the car I drive. All in all I'm glad customers are being treated better. read more

I literally just got done sitting in line for a hour just to be told to go to the Roberts road location so I can get a filter. I told the guy I didn't care about the filter, it wasn't that bad and I'm getting a new car soon anyway, this was literally my last oil change for this car, he proceeds to back the line back out and tells me to go to the Roberts Rd location..... W.t.f!? I didn't even ask or want a filter, where is the old crew?? Thanks for the waste of gas and time guy's. How about you listen next time and stop trying to make a extra dime. Came to this Valvoline since it is close to wear I live and I didnt have a set place to go to for an oil change on the fly, but now it is safe to say I do. The prices are not bad but the best part is just being able to pull right in and get a quick inspection and oil change, the whole process took about 20 min with conversation and the service. Received an email for special pricing from Groupon, so I decided to purchase the deal & stop by on my way home. I'm new to the area & the Vavoline back home is super quick. Each car is in & out in 10-15 minutes or less, so I figured this place would be similar. Couldn't have been more wrong. Pulled into the lot & each bay was occupied as well as two cars behind each of those cars. I figured I'd be waiting about 20-30 minutes as it is an express service. There are only two bays & the parking lot is way too small for this location. In result, I had several cars pull in and aggressively turn around behind me as I waited. After waiting for about 60 minutes, when I was finally next in line, they had the person in the car behind me and I both back up and told the guy in the car next to me, (who got there about 10-15 minutes after I did), to go ahead of me. Then they pulled some random car that was left in their lot, behind the car that was in the bay on the right. After waiting another ten minutes with no movement, I decided to leave. I completely understand that I came during a busy time of the day & expected a wait, however this is supposed to be a speedy service. The icing on the cake was getting pushed back right when the car ahead of me was finishing up and letting a car go ahead of me that had got there after. I came because I didn't want to sit at a dealership & have come to expect a high level of service from this company. I won't be back. read more

I am giving this location 5 stars because of the fact that the customer service was amazing. My brother and I had just evacuated from Florida because of Hurricane Irma and we went to be with family in Ohio. When we arrived we knew it would be best to get an oil change so the car would be in good shape for the trip home. We told this to them at the Oil Change location and they gave us 15% off. It was a small gesture, but showed they have compassion for people who were already stressed from the storm. The location in Hilliard is very nice. They are quick here and do a great job. I have been to other Valvoline Instant Oil Changes and they are not as friendly and quick as this location. It does surprise me they only have two garages that this location as they could easily have way more than that. It was a Saturday afternoon with 2 cars in front of us and took about 30 minutes. This was time well spent to get a great oil change. read more

2017: still impressed with this place. Fast, friendly service, no pressure when upselling. 2014: Most of the other reviews about this location are super old. My husband came here 2 years ago randomly and had such a good, fast experience that we started bringing both cars regularly. The technicians work very fast but take great care of our cars. They are also super courteous, honest and attentive. I love that they check with you to see if you're ok with the recommended tire pressure, if you need an air filter, etc. maybe it costs a little more than other places but if I don't have to get out of my car and it takes 10 minutes, it's totally worth it. read more

Came in for a standard oil change. I arrived, the cars were being arranged into lines in front of the two lanes. They got completely screwed up and ended up letting two vehicles who got there after me go before me, which meant I had to wait even longer. I did notice them switching out other cars to allow whomever arrived first to go to the open lane, but this didn't happen for me. I'm not sure if they thought I had a mean face or something, but they did everything for everyone else first, and I was really frustrated by the time I got to the garage. I will say that as soon as I got in there, they were really prompt and got me in and out super quickly. But the overall experience for me was average to poor because of everything else. read more

My spouse got an oil change in another Valvoline on 3600 Riverside Dr, obviously they forgot to close down a component at the bottom of the car when they finished the oil change. So I drove here to just simply ask them to close to component for me because it's dragging on the ground, they said they won't do it and I have to drive back to which the Valvoline did my oil change. So keep in mind, never done any oil change by VALVOLINE out of town, if you have it done in NYC and drive home in Columbus and find something wrong, you'll have to drive back to NYC to fix it!!! Sorry, it's not the Walmart you bought this, you have to return it to another Walmart!!! Duh. read more

Would not recommend to nobody. Overpriced, uneducated workplace. Waited 30 minutes to get my oil change and when I left my skid plate wasn't put on properly, called and complained and was told to go back so they could fix it. Waited another 30 minutes for them to lie and tell me that how it was when I first got there and they made a temporary fix and today on the way to work my skid plate came loose and I have to get a new skid plate. Decided to change my own oil for once and couldn't get the oil plug off. Called this location to simply ask for assistance in loosening the nut and was initially told they would help. Upon arriving, a mechanic informs me it's a "liability" to do so unless I purchase an oil change. Immediately upon leaving and getting in my car I see the mechanics, through their glass doors, all gather together and begin to laughing. Complete bullshit and unprofessional. My dad and Mom tried to have a repair done. They had a standard oil change and air filter switch. The technician that worked on the car didn't seat the air filter inlet tube and pcv tube heading into the engine correctly. The car kept stalling in my driveway. I had to call and get it towed to a Cadillac dealer only to find out it was Valvoline's fault for not seating the filter and tubing correctly. My parents approached Manager Robert about it and he tried to say that it was my parents issue. He wasn't going to fix it. He was rude, nasty, and got in my parents face as I witnessed it all. I'm 16 and work retail and I know how to act better than Robert treated my parents. read more
