Completely scammed me yesterday 6/29. As a woman going to an auto shop especially one like valvoline, I expect what they're telling me is truthful and knowledgeable. The mechanic helping me told me my 2024 Honda civic sport needed a full transmission fluid change because "Honda recommends them every 25,000 miles." To my surprise my dad was appalled that they charged me almost $200 when my CVT transmission fluid needs changed every 60-70,000 miles!!! Totally took advantage of me and it's disheartening because I've always gone to valvoline and they should've known that my car did in fact not need a $200 TFE. First negative experience there and enough to make me not want to go back. I could've waited another 4+ years before ever needing to change it. Do better. read more

I got a conventional oil change in my ford ranger 2 weeks ago, the day after I notice my truck is ticking and the oil pressure gauge is all over the place. After a really bad experience at Valvoline on state street where they lied and said they fixed my blinker bulb just for me to go home and see that it is not fixed. I drove back and let them know and they hit me with the "we aren't able to fix that sorry" so I drove over to this valvoline where they were quick and easy to fix it with no problem. While my experience seemed like a great one at the time, they were efficient and friendly, it turns out they weren't exactly honest. I was given a list of things my car desperately needed and I passed, saying I would follow up. I took my car to a Goodyear with said list, and was told I only needed one of those things. I paid $70 for that service instead of the $300 Valvoline quoted me for the so called "must dos". Always trusted Valvoline locations, now I doubt I will be back. read more

Usually this place is amazing and really friendly, maybe just got tech in bad mood but Ana was rude as could be and made it seem like it was a bother to her that I came in for oil change. Good thing her co-workers made up For it and got oil change done in like 10 min. Just always amazes me when people in customer service jobs have no customer service an act like they are better than you. No clue why she was mad she didn't do any work except run my card. I was driving a long distance with my children...about 3 hours from home, my skid plate started dragging. It was almost 8 PM, but the Manager (I'm sorry--not sure of name spelling) and an employee (Brandon) stayed late to help me. They were very kind and helpful! My man Gerald and the boys hooked it up phat today. I've been a jiffy lube customer for many years but decided to give this location a try. I was greeted immediately upon pulling up and advised on wait time and directed to a bay. There was 1 car ahead in my line i waited no more than 10 min and pulled right in. The guys in the shop seem to have a great camaraderie good positive vibes and happy employees- really rubs off on customer experience. Total service time only 12 min and i got to stay in my vehicle and enjoy a nice iced coffee from Tim hortons next door. I don't like this place because the service is not up to par with my expectations of an oil change. In addition I can finally write what I've waited, literally months to write for this particular place. The truth about this place. So my fiancee took in his car for an oil change here and they recommended a tire rotation to him. In the process of that they manage to scratch his rims and knowing they made this mistake they take my fiancee into a separate room so he will not see the damage they did. The manager yells at the guy who scratched the rims and my fiancee has no clue what is going on and what all this commotion is about he leaves thinking his car is okay at the end. The next week or so passes by and people start saying man those rims looked scratched who did that to you? He had no clue until he remembered he came to Valvoline the week before and no one would say anything to him about it. He comes in the next day and says he needs to talk to the manager and the manager then gets the same guy that made the mistake and all he can do is say we will give you a call back and see what our general manager can do about our mistake. A week goes by and no call is made he goes into the shop and they say we will fix the mistake but only pay xyz for all this. Moral of the story, don't take your car into a place you doubt or can't be trustworthy. We both learned the hard way by taking both our cars here. read more

This is a fantastic place to go if you want a check up or an oil change. The staff there are nice and quick at what they do. There is one gentelman in particular, and I wish I could remember his name, but he's one of the main reasons I stop there. He does a professional job, and he'll stop and talk to me like a human instead of a customer, which I appreciate. You don't have to get out the car for any of it, not even the part where you pay. It's like a drive through oil change. The price is a little high, but compaired to other places, I don't know that its any different. read more

This place used to be good, but lately, they try to upsell the customer on unneeded items. My daughter brought her Dodge Caravan in for an oil change, and they told her it required synthetic oil, which is absolutely untrue. Last time I went in, they told me I needed a more expensive oil than what was called for in the manual. I've taken two different cars here a couple weeks apart and neither car was services properly. They somehow installed an undersized drain plug in my Honda Pilot and a few weeks later they left the air filter box open after checking the air filter. I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

Not only does this place make it a habit of dishonest business practices, their careless way of handling your automobile puts your safety in jeopardy. On 12/21 we paid a substantial fee for a premium oil change only to look over and see the technician putting in regular oil. When questioned it was shrugged off as a miscommunication....almost $90 for synthetic oil is not a miscommunication. Then while we are on the road the next day we smell something burning. The technician did not place the oil stick back in completely and overfilled it so that oil was all over the engine. We will never return....no one else should either. read more

I went in on a Sunday morning around 10:30 a.m. to get my oil changed and I was serviced within 10 minutes thanks to the "first come, first serve" standard of service. I initially wanted my tires pumped and an oil change and they ended up pulling up the Carfax for my vehicle and displayed two other services I needed. I have a 2013 Honda Civic and I like to keep my systems up to date so I ended up getting my tires rotated and a quick 12-month fluid treatment oil. They did the entire service less than 30 minutes and I was able to go right next door to my gym at LA Fitness to keep my day going. I'm no expert on cars but I felt comfortable in the suggested services they recommended and the way they spoke to you if you were unaware of what something was (I.e I had no idea had to pop my hood; embarrassing). I would highly suggest them if you ever need a quick oil change with professional service. read more

We went there in a Sunday morning. It was a bit humid. Probably about 70 degrees. We just had breakfast at Mimi's. (3 stars) it was lovely. Our waitresses name I don't remember but she was nice and the bathroom was very clean. Anywho, we pulled into bay 3. There was a guy who helped guide us correctly into the bay. He could get a job at an airport he was so good with his hand motions . The team there worked like a well oiled machine. Pun intended (ha!) the service was quick and professional and Now we are cruising up 71 to Cleveland. The car is purring along like a well oiled machine (ha!) .we are going to go to the mall today.
