Been coming here for years. They have some of the best customer service in town. Don't sleep on the Jiffy Lube Georgesville Rd location.

Who knew that just driving next door to another repair shop could save you close to $400 on 2 front…read morestruts and 2 tires for the rear. Doing that saved me almost a third of the costs. The gentleman behind the counter heard my story about what I was quoted to fix 2 problems so I could drive at least another 50,000 miles. He gave me a quote and added he could find a 10% discount to save a little more. I made an appointment for 1:00 and came back. Got NAPA struts and Kelly tires witn a 4 wheel alignment. Took longer than originally estimate, but that can be expected especially if you have an afternoon appointment. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want and even reset the tire pressure to what I like to run for gas mileage. (Saturns are like Goldilocks about what tires and pressure those tires are set, get it wrong can cost up to 5 mpg) Having long hair and boobs, I have to be careful who I have work on my 17 year old baby. Some shops see someone that they can fool and make a HUGE profit. But I am those types of shops biggest nightmare, a female that knows cars and what it should cost that also have a big mouth. Maybe that is I always have repair shop tell me that the car is in great condition.

It's a freakin' shame. I have used Goodyear centers for years. I've used multiple locations, as…read morewell and this location has irked me enough to write a review, because I have not given them the benefit of the doubt once, twice.... but five times! I have a card through Goodyear, and I use them for their financing options to pay off larger car repairs within 6 months during the promo financing, so this is the primary reason I use Goodyear. The other reason is that they are open on Sundays, which is just not really a common thing for auto shops, other than the Jiffy Lubes of the world. So, where does this frustration come from, you ask? I have called this location 5 different times in the span of 1 year to have my car looked at for either an emergency related item, tire related item, HELL, even an oil change, and I've been told "We can't look at your vehicle until Wednesday". It's always the same. Call on Friday.... "Can't get you in till Wednesday" Call on Sunday morning... "Can't get you in till Wednesday." Monday.... "Sorry, Can't get you in till Wednesday". At this point, you think their corporate office would just send them a giant banner, or one of those inflatable tube guys that says "Can't get you in till Wednesday", because that seems to be the beloved motto of this store. Guys, what in the actual HECK!? I drive by your shop to see only two vehicles on lifts, and maybe 3 vehicles sitting in the lot, and you CAN'T get me in until Wednesday??? Seriously??? I've been let down so much by this location. I'm almost just going to consider them closed down as a location, and use either Hilliard or Grovecity at this point, because it won't matter.... they must only have one tech working in the entire garage on their weekends. Ridiculous. Flippin' ridiculous. If you have an emergency, you might as well keep looking, because you're not going to get your car fixed within an afternoon here.

I recently had the water pump replaced on my vehicle at Luke's Auto Shop. Unfortunately, shortly…read moreafter the repair, I discovered that a coolant hose clamp associated with the water pump had been left improperly installed. This caused coolant to leak into the engine bay and could have led to much more serious engine damage if it hadn't been caught quickly. A mistake like this is concerning because the cooling system is a critical component, and something as basic as verifying that all hose clamps are properly secured should be part of every final inspection before a vehicle is returned to the customer. That said, I also believe it's important to recognize when a business makes a genuine effort to address a problem. Once the issue was brought to the shop's attention, the service manager handled the situation professionally. While the original workmanship issue should not have occurred, he did what he could to make the situation right by listening to my concerns, arranging for the vehicle to be checked over, and working to restore my confidence in the repair. No repair shop is immune to mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled matters. In this case, the initial repair fell short of the standard I expected, but the service manager's professionalism and willingness to stand behind the work improved what could have been a much worse experience. Overall, I hope the shop strengthens its quality-control procedures to ensure critical items like coolant hose connections are verified before vehicles leave the shop. If they do, I believe they can provide a much more consistently positive customer experience.

I went to Luke's about a month ago, because I needed to get my transmission flushed. I was…read moreincredibly happy with the service. First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

They came to replace my oil filter housing after another mechanic put a slit in it…read more After housing was installed he refilled coolant only to have forgot to replace a hose causing coolant to leak out. I thought coolant leaking day 1 and day 2 after repair were from when the hose was forgotten but NO, I now have an overheating engine, coolant leak and they claimed to be coming to look at it for 2 days (now going on the 3rd day) and still haven't showed and have not communicated anything else for days! Not only that but wanted to charge me for parts to fix it even if it was their error. Then wanted to charge me $100 for diagnostic if it turned out not to be their error (which how would that be if it wasn't leaking before they touched it...1st mechanic touched NOTHING on that side nor did he remove anything involving coolant yet they tried to pass blame stating it could have been done before they came. Now it's 3 days before Christmas and I'm stranded in OH and can't get back home to NC! BAD BUSINESS! Only one star because I had to.
