Invoice 83061 2/25/24 2007 Ford F150 5.4 l Engine Facility installed a Ecoguard X2500 oil Filter, should have been a Ecoguard S4651 (S is for synthetic oil). When the oil drain plug was installed, it was without a gasket, over tightened the drain plug since it had no gasket. Somehow, the oil drain plug was changed from M14-1.50 to a standard plug All this was discovered when I changed the oil and oil filter. Called to inform Take5 of the issues, representative stated that a regional manager would call the next day. No call has been received at day 3 since the call. Documented issues with photos. they forgot to put the lid for my coolant area back on and now my car overheated and all the fluids came out and my car is literally stuck on the highway I called them and they mailbox is full so I can't get in contact with them this is so unprofessional because now I have to come out of pocket to get my car fixed because it won't start at all and I already put new coolant in and my car still won't start so now I have to deal with this because they was unprofessional on they end I want my refund to because why am I coming out of pocket because of something yall forgot to do very much unprofessional and do not recommend at all read more

You make a lot of lofty claims. 10 min oil change, my ass. I wasn't even greeted in the first 10 min. I sat in my car for 6 waiting infront of an open but otherwise empty store. I then went inside and called for assistance repeatedly, to the point that I became frustrated enough to raise my voice. Then I walked all the way around the store thinking that maybe someone was smoking behind it. I'm in an awful big hurry today is the only reason I'm still here and you're getting my money, because when I did finally find the older white haired gentleman he was rude as hell. Literally barked at me about how he was in the bathroom you couldn't call to me and say I'm in here give me a minute? Like I said I am in a hurry today. I WILL NOT BE BACK. I have been coming here for awhile and I tend to notice every single oil change they have completely new staff... usually my service is always fast and smooth. I came today when it was training day , but it seemed like it was goof off day. The man helping the lady next to me had to call his wife for extra tools? Unsure what for . The man was also smoking a cigarette under the woman's car. Unprofessional ??? I think so! Once his wife arrived her and the daughter stood in front of the mans car watching him work. I have been going to this location for many years. I will never go back to this location again. The people working there now are just terrible, rude, and clearly do not have a clue about what they are doing. When I arrived there where no other cars being service or waiting to be served. Apparently my arrival interrupted their smoke break. I waited about 3 min for a teenager to come out, he did not greet me but did say - what do you need!, I need a F*** oil change. Then he ask me to pop my hood. In my entire life no oil change company has ever ask to look under my hood before I even pull into a bay. This teenager looked under my hood - (?) then closed it and told me someone else would guide me into the bay. Then this same teenager ask my mileage. (225763). He seemed very confused. He called for another man to come over to him where they seemed confused about my mileage. Then the second man comes over and says "do you know your over 75000 miles" I did not know how to respond. I said "seriously". He gave me a ass-hole look and turned and walked away. I told the teenager I had changed my mind and did not want them working on my car. This location """USED""" TO BE GREAT. I've always tried to support local businesses...even after a couple of mishaps. But I'm finally done with this place (after 10 years). Similar to another customer's complaint. I had been approached with unnecessary services. I politely declined, as they were WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I can deal with that and still went for oil changes and inspections (to support a local business). But the last two times...the attendant spilled oil down the side of my motor. Both times I did not notice until I smelled it burning off and noticed an oil puddle on my new driveway and down the side of the motor of my fairly new vehicle. I'm done!! read more

In my previous 5 star review I bragged that this location had never hit me up for unnecessary repairs and services when I went in just for an oil change. Well, that's no longer true and it's the reason I'm amending my review from 5 stars to only 1. During my last oil change the worker called me out to my car and said I needed my fuel injectors flushed and some other service. However, he said they were running a special so I could get both things done at once for half the price, which was still over a hundred dollars. (Not including the cost of the oil change.) Since I trusted this business I gave them the go-ahead and went back to sit in the waiting area. I then watched as three more customers came in after me and the workers gave every single one of them the same spiel. So we were all obviously lied to and ripped off because four people in-a-row would not all need these two services that just so happened to be 'on sale'. The time-before-last that I had an oil change I overheard the owner of this franchise telling a regular customer that he was selling the business. I assume he did so and the new people are crooked, like they are at most of the Kwik Kar locations. Leaving my original 5 star review below as evidence of how intensely my opinion of this location has dropped: ********************************** I've been using Kwik Kar for years all over the metroplex and figured they'd all be the same. However, this franchise chain must offer its owners more leniency when it comes to pricing because this location is less expensive for oil changes than any other I've been to. Also, they've never hit me up for additional repairs and services when I've taken my car in for an oil change like they always do at other Kwik Kar locations.
