DONT GO HERE. Prices are too high, service is not fast, and they don't care if they damage your car. They have no respect for you as a customer. Read on if you need proof. I went on Christmas Eve for an oil change and the next day when I was on the highway every time I went over a bump I could hear a scraping sound. I drove to and from frisco with more and more damage being done each bump I went over. When I was able to look I could see the skid plate wasn't fastened to my car good enough after service. I went back the next day and told them about the issue. The same person from before ushered me into the shop. Tinkered for a good 10-15 minutes and said I was good to go. I trusted that they fixed what they messed up and drove off. I was headed out of town that day so needed my car drivable. I stopped to get gas and peered under my car-- their "fix" was using zip ties to fasten the plate to my car. I would have appreciated some ownership in their mistake and some honestly when they acted like they fixed the issue that THEY caused. Instead, they sent me off with me having to now go somewhere else to fix something they are responsible for. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but after that experience I have to. This was an infuriating and disappointing experience. I understand that the mistake of the skid plate coming loose could have happened anywhere, but the way this was handled with no respect makes me regret ever giving this specific store my business in the first place. I've been coming to this Take 5 location for a long time, even though it's over 30 minutes from my home, because the service has always been outstanding. That's why today's experience was disappointing. I asked a technician which oil was correct for my 2023 Lincoln Navigator after noticing two different DuraMAX oils on display. He recommended the wrong one and, when I questioned it, became rude, dismissive, and disrespectful instead of taking the time to verify the correct specification. I requested another technician, and he completely turned the experience around. He was professional, courteous, verified that my vehicle required SAE 5W-30, showed me the correct oil before servicing my vehicle, and answered my questions with patience and respect. I appreciate the second technician for his excellent service. My only suggestion is to ensure all employees are well-trained on both vehicle specifications and customer service. That's the level of professionalism that has kept me coming back to this location. read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!! Just like they advertise.. we can do quick and fast and whatever the synonyms of quick are... yes sure do it fast but they don't do quality work here! As fast as possible, and who cares? They did my oil change for my expedition and then I came home and my car leaked oil all over the place! I had the car for 5years and never once leaked oil. And I just wanted to try them on and BOOOOO. Took them back and supposedly they said they didn't tighten the oil pan enough that's why. So yes ended up wasting my time having to go back the next day. Oh and they told me they couldn't make appointment even though it's to fix their mistake! So if they were busy that day I had to stay in line. Which they were so I wasted another 30mnts on 2nd day. Waited an hour to get oil change done. They had alot of customers, noticed workers were just standing around talking to each other. Trying to up sell on the oil change and accessories. On the phone operator said the oil change would be $55 with $25 coupon $30. Nickel and diamond charging a Shop service charge of six dollars and an oil filter charge for $13.99 for a $5 filter. Started coming here years ago when I needed an oil change urgently I couldn't get done at home in time before a trip. Shop techs said that since you're a first responder we'll honor a discount, didn't ask for one but great. Came here for years with several cars a few times a year, the only reason I continued to come rather than change oil at home was due to the discount making it somewhat reasonable. Fast forward to today, techs said they had to call their manager about the discount. Even though I had years of history on my account they denied. Whatever. Then after waiting over an hour for 2 cars in front of me, that's what "take 5" means anyways, they say we don't have the oil you need in stock, but we do have the one that costs an extra $45. Sweet. Never doing business here again. On top of it all, my father in law went to a separate take 5 location several months back, and the techs in the bay emptied his oil and never put new oil in. Seized motor immediately on a new F150. Offered him $3k. He had to take them to court over it to get his motor paid for, fortunately he won. I'm sure that location reflects the values of this one as well. Do not recommend to anyone! read more

What a waste of time When I arrived there was a black truck in one bay & a car, with one waiting behind it, in the other. After sitting there 10 minutes someone came out, asked me what I wanted, and told me to wait behind the black truck . Since they promise in & out in 10 minutes, I figured it would be my turn soon. After sitting there another 20 minutes, I got out of my car & asked the technician working on the truck if it was almost done. His reply, "we're working as fast as we can. " I asked how much longer, & he just repeated the same answer. Then someone else, presumably a manager, came out & explained that one of their computers was down So even though they had 2 bays open, they could only work on 1 car at a time. I said it would have been nice if they told me that when I 1st pulled in. He replied, "that's just the way it is." Then he went back inside. I went back up to the bay & saw the tech was just putting in the oil by hand, 1 quart bottle at a time, & they hadn't even started on the other car. I decided it wasn't worth an hour or more to get the oil changed, & I left. Don't believe the commercials that promise 10 minute oil changes; it's 10 minutes just to get greeted. read more

This team did a great job with my oil change and state inspection. Very professional and friendly. This place is in a high traffic area so come early or be prepared to wait, they're popular as well. They were audible with their communication to ensure nothing was forgotten and all procedures were thorough. This is my second visit and will be bringing my wife's car back for the next go 'round! I know the manager at this place cares about speed and quality, which I why I used to come here for every oil change. But whoever left the two bozos working on the morning of 2/27 by themselves should shoulder the blame for why I'm never coming back to this location again. These idiots are so slow I can't really be mad at them, so instead I'll be mad at the scheduler who put them on a shift alone. Definitely does not meet the Take 5 standard I've been familiar with living in both Dallas and Ft Worth. Take 45 minutes for a single oil change to both cars in front of me and unfortunately I don't have 2 and a half hours to wait. I've seen this place knock out three cars in 45 minutes. I'm also not the only person I saw leaving, so that means whatever great reputation this place built up is probably bleeding out thanks to the impressively slow pace of their new staff read more

I was happy the day of my oil change, brand new car, very first oil change, 2000+ miles later the oil change sensor in my car is constantly going off, I called to see how I can make it stop, the person who answered the phone knew nothing and put me on with the manager who argued with me that I "probably told them my oil light wasn't on when it was.." brand new car, 7500 mile first oil change, I told him light was not on it was a new car and I was getting my first oil change on it per dealership recommendation, he continued to argue and finally said I needed to bring it back so they could reset the oil change sensor, which they should have done the day of the oil change, manager needs some coaching for sure, don't waste your time with this business, I even called the Alta Mere location for answers and they weren't any better read more
